"Hmm..." Asmund appeared in thought before nodding. "I don't see why not, and I'm sure Princess Edea and the others wouldn't mind at all. The more the merrier!" His face beamed with a bright smile. His attention was pulled towards Cassandra and Reyn as they finished eating before bidding their farewells. Nodding to himself he finished his apple before looking at Beldum whom had finished his bowl of berries.

"Well then, I guess we're both finished for the moment." He chuckled at Beldum's inquisitive look while wiping his face with a napkin, before turning to Edea.

"Milady, this mornings meal was delightful. Beldum and I shall go on ahead and await you and the others to assist Heather." Giving a slight bow he stood before putting on his long sleeve jacket. Beldum floated up from the table to find his regular spot over Asmund's shoulder as the man himself turned to Clair.

"I'll wait for you at the castle gates, then once you have finished we can stroll together." Giving another bow Asmund then walked out the room in confident stride, causing some of the maids to giggle between themselves to his slight confusion. No matter, walking through the hall felt good after sitting even though it wasn't all that long. He gave a nod to the guards as he walked through the open gates, taking a deep breath of fresh air before walking to the side to wait as he promised.

Gabriel nods back at Cassandra then finishes. getting up he spots Graham down the table and walks over to him. "Hey Graham ready to start training?"

"I see." Maru replied when Cassandra mentioned the two others that would be coming along, and after she finished her meal she thanked Edea and her staff for the meal and then turned back to him, saying that if he didn't know where to find the school that she would wait for him outside the castle which caused Maru to nod "Alright, I'll be there shortly, once I'm done eating." he replied to her before she left. Shortly after that Maru and Arachi finished their breakfast, getting up with his partner in tow Maru thanked Edea before heading off to follow after Cassandra.

Asmund:

After leaving the castle as you approach the gate you spot Cassandra waiting by the front gate as well she gives you a silent nod as Clair and her partner joins you "Edea is waiting for some of the others to finish eating before joining us, so I guess we could go on ahead." The two of you stroll though the village with nothing of interesting happening as you approach the Tavern it appears Reyn and Nate are already with Heather talking as they stand in front of the Tavern.

Maru:

Heading outside you spot Cassandra standing beside the castle gate with her Riolu, She gives you a nod as you approach "Alright, I think the other two shouldn't be far behind so I guess we should wait for them." Shortly after the other two heirs approach you and Cassandra and she introduces you to them "Good your both here, this is Maru of Maiasmya and his partner Arachi he decided to join us in our training."

The heir accompanied by a Tynamo gives you a bow "Nice to meet you, I am Graham Jones of Wattray and this is my partner Tynamo." He gestures to his partner that carefully hovers behind him.

Gabriel:

Graham looks up as you speak "Yes, Tynamo and I were just finishing up..." He then gets up and his partner resumes to hovering behind him as it quickly finishes the last bit of its meal "We made a promise to the teacher Maxwell to train with his students, so I don't think we should be late." Once the two of you go to leave the castle you see Cassandra standing at the castle gate with another heir. Spotting you she speaks up "Good your both here, this is Maru of Maiasmya and his partner Arachi he decided to join us in our training."

Graham gives the heir a bow as he introduces himself "Nice to meet you, I am Graham Jones of Wattray and this is my partner Tynamo."

Nate:

Zelos' Lotad falls to the ground knocked out and Heather calls out "Lotad is unable to battle the winner is Nate and Ralts." Zelos walks up to his Pokemon picking it up "Sorry bud, you did great...don't worry we will get them next time." He then turns his attention to you and Heather "You did pretty good it was a close match I bet it would of made some people smile if anyone was around to watch it...besides the droll debate of ideas, but next time things will be different." He shrugs "Anyways, I guess I'll leave you in charge of helping Heather for now as I have to patch up Lotad now see ya." He turns giving you a halfhearted wave as he walks off.

As Zelos leaves Reyn and Heracross approach you and Heather "Well, we only caught the end of that, but that looked like a pretty good battle Nate!" He give you a rough pat on the back "Anyways, everyone else should be here shortly we all had a quick breakfast before coming."

Seeing Cassandra, Asmund returned her nod before Clair arrived. The Heir of metal did nothing but nod once more to the Ice Princess before they ventured to the tavern.They made good time, catching up to Reyn whom looked to be congratulating Nate, possibly for winning a pokemon battle. Raising a hand with a smile, Asmund greeted the others.

"Fair greetings to you, Lady Heather, I trust your night was sound? Ah, but I forget my manners." He gestured towards Clair and her Swinub.

"With me this fine morning is Lady Clair of Snowspire and her friend Swinub. Lady Clair has shown interest in helping us aid Lady Heather in today's task. Now while I cannot speak for all of us here, I do believe Lady Clair would be a welcome addition to the group. What say you, friends?"

"Greetings everyone." I said with a smile. I then turn to Heather. "Could I by chance get another berry juice for Athena? She got hurt a little in that battle." I hold my ralts, and rub the top of her head between her horns. "That was a great battle, you did well."

Gabriel bows as well, snaps his fingers and deino bows as well. "Hello Maru and Arachi i'm Gabriel of Fangdar and this is Deino." Deino looks up and yips. "Great to have you for our training session. what do you want to work on first Cassandra?"

After catching up to Cassandra she told him that the two other heirs that would be coming along should be arriving soon. Just as she said the two arrived shortly after, one being Graham Jones of Wattray and the other being Gabriel of Fangdar, after their respective introduction Maru nodded "It is nice to meet you all as well." he said before Gabriel questioned Cassandra on what she wants to work on first.

Asmund and Nate:

Reyn gives Clair a nod "Nice to meet you lady Clair, and the more the merrier I say." He says with a laugh. Heather smiles at Nate when he asks for more berry juice "Of course, I'll make some more we can all wait in the Tavern while we wait on the others." She opens the door letting everyone inside and Reyn and Clair take seats at the bar as Heather goes to prepare more berry juice.

As everyone waits Reyn speaks up "Well, Heather since we are helping you look for a Pokemon partner do you have any idea on what kind of Pokemon you want to pair up with?" Heather looks up from her work as she mixes berries "Well, like I said I have never been able to link with a Pokemon. However, I do think I felt something special with a Pokemon once when I was traveling through the woods some time ago that might of been that, though I wasn't able to get a good look at the Pokemon because it was in the trees, so I don't even know what kind of Pokemon it is."

Maru and Gabriel:

Cassandra speaks up "Well, we made a promise to the school teacher Maxwell to help train his students so it is honestly less about us and more to help them, however it should provide some good battle experience for all of us." Graham then nods "Right, I agree anyways we shouldn't keep them waiting any longer."

With that after a walk though the village with nothing of interesting happening you finally make it to the warrior training school and as you approach Maxwell and his partner Spinda stands outside with four student each accompanied by a Pokemon a Pidgey, Iggilybuff, Minccino, and Lickitung "Ah, good just in time I was just telling my students what to expect for today...so, four of you showed up well that's good I'll let the four of you decide how you want to battle since you are our guests...so how would rather battle my students singles battle or double battles?"

Cassandra looks to Maru and Gabriel "Well, does anyone have a preference I am fine with either way honestly."

Asmund smiled as Clair was well greeted by the others, and followed inside to wait for Princess Edea. He took a spot on the far right of the group, intently listening to Heather as she revealed something that spoke of promise.

"Even if you weren't about to get a good look, the simple fact that you were able to feel a possible connection speaks volumes Lady Heather. How long ago was this Lady Heather? Was it far from here? Also, could you remember that area and retrace your steps?" His eyes held clear excitement but it was held in check, as even though his words held great enthusiasm, he spoke at a normal pace and not like a set of attacks from Close Combat. Beldum all the while floated about with the other pokemon, saying something that made them laugh amongst themselves.

(Sorry for the rather long delay, several things came up recently that have kept me from putting much time into this.)

Asmund and Nate:

Heather thinks for a moment before answering Asmund and Nate's questions as she hands Nate's Ralts a berry juice "Well, I think it was about a week ago in the forest, and I think I could find the area again, however for what species it could be I couldn't tell you as I am not very knowledgeable on the species of Pokemon that live near Palette." Clair then gets up from her chair "Well, if lives in a tree then it has to be a Bug or Flying type...those are the only two Pokemon types that tend to live in tree right?"

Reyn then shakes his head appearing to be in deep thought "Not quite, it is rare but other types of Pokemon are known to make trees their homes. However, it is possible that the Pokemon in question could of just been looking for berries to eat or simply traveling through the area, there is no evidence to say that the tree Heather seen it in is also it's home...Er, not to be negative just going through all that we know so far."

Soon afterwards Edea, Yuri, and Ashley enter the tavern.

Maru and Gabriel:

Maxwell nods as Gabriel is the first to step up "Alright, well let me think would would be a good match for you..." However he is quickly cut off by the student with a Lickitung "Sir, I would like to battle the Fangdar prince if that is alright with you." The student gives Gabriel a determined stare as Maxwell thinks about it for a moment "Hmm, alright I think it will be a good match up take your spots on the battlefield"

Maxwell then turns his attention back to Maru and the others "Alright, so how would you like to battle...there is the singles or doubles option, but since there is only three of you left you could try to do a triple battle with my remaining students." Cassandra and Graham both look to Maru and Cassandra speaks up "Well, what kind of battle do you want to do Maru? All options are alright with me they all sound like a good challenge." Graham crosses his arms "Agreed, all of our options will provide a decent amount of of battle experience, though if you decide to have a double battle one of us has to battle alone."

(I'd like to apologize for not replying for a long time, I've been in a real slump for some time now and haven't been able to will myself to sit down and write.)

Maru had kept mostly quiet during their walk to the warrior training school, once they got there the school teacher, Maxwell, asked what kind of battle they would prefer, singles or doubles. Before Maru could decide Gabriel voiced that he'd prefer battling solo this time, and after a bit Maxwell mentioned that they could also do a triple battle against his remaining students. "A triple battle sounds fun, I don't think I've ever had the chance to participate in one before as well." he said.

"Maybe so, but there is always this to consider." Leaning on the counter, Asmund rested on his elbows, holding his hands up cross-fingered.

"From what travel's I've had and tales told by my Father and Grandfather, each of our respective countries has a similar telling for those chosen to become Partners. That should you one day hear the call you are one day meant to meet your destined partner, as would be seen by the Original One, then written by Master of Time, Lord Dialga. Also, the call isn't only felt by us, our destined partners feel the call just as we do, some say even more so. This leads me to believe that your partner, whoever it be, will stay near the area you both were closest, Lady Heather." He leaned back with crossed arms, confident smile plastered to his face.

"Once we find the area Lady Heather first felt the pull, it will only be a matter of time before they pull themselves to one another, like magnetized metal." Beldum all the while seemed to be in deep discussion with the other pokemon, it seemed to talk far more here than any other time last Asmund remembered. He then caught sight of Princess Edea along with 2 others. He raised a hand in greeting.

"Greetings Lady Edea and company, you're just in time. We were discussing the location of Lady Heather's mysterious partner."

"I bet it's a tentacrule! They sometimes dwell in forests right?" I say jokingly. "Well, at any rate that rules out Tauros, at the very least. Seriously though Likely that cut monkey pokemon... OR that cute sloth pokemon... OR one of the billions of species of birds pokemon... or Tauros." I then wave at the women who enter. "Edea, what pokemon around here frequent trees? Tauros right?"

Asmund and Nate:

Clair speaks "I agree, if Lady Heather and this mystery Pokemon have already formed a link however small...then the Pokemon should remain nearby its fated partner." Reyn nods in agreement though laughs at Nate's comment "Ha, if you happen to find a Tentacrule or a Tauros roosting in a tree let me know that will be something for everyone to see..."

When Edea and the others enter the tavern she is stopped short as Nate asks her about Tauros taking the question seriously "Umm, I have never seen a Tauros in a tree before...they tend to stick in large fields along with Milktank." Yuri chuckles shaking her head before turning her attention to Asmund "Anyways, so if your talking about Heather's potential partner what did we miss?"

Reyn and the others fill Edea, Yuri, and Ashley in on what they learned Edea says happily "Well, that's great with this information we are bound to find that Pokemon Heather." Ashley speaks up "Right, well with this knowledge we should move to find this mystery Pokemon."

Gabriel:

The trainer reluctantly agrees as Deino unleashes a dark aura blasting Lickitung (-7 Hp), Lickitung's trainer then activates his Warrior Skill Fortify raising Lickitung's Defense (Defense +1 stage) then calls out "It will take more then that to defeat us, Lickitung use Body Slam." Lickitung charges and launches itself at Deino bringing its weight down on its foe. (-12 Hp)

Deino: 9/21 Hp
Lickitung: 18/25 Hp

(Battle continued through PM, note: Deino and Lickitung are Speed tied so turn order may change mid battle)

Maru:

Cassandra and Graham both give you a nod of approval, and then Cassandra turns her attention to Maxwell "Alright, we decided on a triple battle." Maxwell then motions the three of you towards an adjacent battlefield as you and the students prepare to battle in this formation:

Cassandra, Maru, Graham

Iggilybuff, Minccino, Pidgey

Cassandra strikes first activating her Warrior Skill Rally raising Riolu and Arachi attack (Attack +1) "Alright, Riolu strike Minccino with Bullet Punch." Riolu charges towards Minccino unleashing a barrage of strikes (-8 HP). The student with Minccino attacks next activating her Warrior Skill Marksman improving Minccino's accuracy and raising its critical hit chance "Ok Minccino strike back at Riolu with Aqua Tail." The Minccino unleashes a torrent of water with it's tail crashing down on Riolu. (-9 Hp) Graham moves next "Hmm, my wisest move would be to take out the biggest threat to the rest of our team...Tynamo use Thunder Wave on Pidgey." Tynamo unleashes a weak electrical charge paralyzing Pidgey.

Tynamo: 20/20 Hp
Riolu: 11/20 Hp
Arachi: 20/20 Hp
Iggilybuff: 25/25 Hp
Pidgey: 20/20 Hp
Minccino: 14/22 Hp

Ivadi:

You awake in a room different than your usual royal chambers alongside your Pokemon partner, and that is when you remember the events that led to you staying in the neutral kingdom of Palette, how your parents and the other Warlords are currently meeting together in order to form a peace treaty, and for your safety you and the other royal children from the other kingdoms are to live here until said agreement is reached. Looking around your room you note how different it is compared to your own room back home, but it has a rather rustic feel to it and the window gives you a good view of the small village around Palette's castle, also as you look around you notice a small note has been slipped under your door.

Ivadi yawns softly "wait....oh yeah, that did happen." he said before smiling at his Ralts Zach who was nuzzling him "Morning Zach, looks like we have a new place to explore hmm? but before that lets get breakfast." he said as he tidyies himself and Zach up before he carries him. however before they left they noticed the note "hmm? what's this?" he asked as he picked it up to read it

Asmund stands with a nod.

"My exact thoughts, Milady. Now time better than now, once we're all prepared." He turned to the pokemon still huddled together in a group, and called out.

"Come my friend, it is time." Beldum spun towards Asmund before turning back to it's group. Giving a few words of farewell Beldum left the group to take his place over Asmund's shoulder, as said man placed his coat back on. He turned to the others.

"I'll meet you all outside once you're all set. The sun shines radiantly this morning, we seem to be in Lady Reshiram's favor." With a small bow he made his way out the door, where he then went to the side to wait for the group.
