Yugioh 1000 years of Darkness 2/8

Alex didn't turn back to face Christy, but spoke to her as he drew his cards. His voice was calm and soothing, despite the chill in it.
"You misunderstand, Christy... A duel worth fighting is the only thing worth living for... and Duelists capable of making me feel alive like that... are the source of my reason for existing... You are a part of this group... and so far, the only one I've met on this island... It's not an insult to you... It's a compliment... But my hunger for competition is always ravenous. I always seek new challenges... and I hold special those who make me fight... I'm merely trying to see where this one falls."
He drew his six cards.
"Hmmm.... I'll set two cards face down and set one monster in defense mode and end my turn."

Raphael growls as wounds are inflicted on his body blood running down multiple areas "is...that all?"

she listens and calms down a little.."Ok..i'll take that...being the only one on the island to give you a run for his money is a good feeling."

I nod "Yes, I end my turn."

[Oersted]

I look to Alastair and speak "More like using a deck I didn't use for a long time." that said I turn back to Alex and draw my cards "I'll start by setting a card, then I'll special summon Cyber Dragon in attack mode by using its effect, I'll also normal summon Cyber Larva. After that I'll enter my battle phase and attack your face down with Cyber Dragon!"

Alex seemed unphased as his trap card activated.

"I can appreciate the fact you tried to strike me hard right from the start... But you need to keep aware of possible backlashes like this.... not a great way to start this duel off."

[Oersted]

"Eh, it happens." I shrug "Well, I'm going to end my turn now."

*Chris nods* Okay Heero I will. *he wanders around looking into rooms not knowing all that had went on*

Alex silently drew his next card.
"..... Now, I'll sacrifice my face down Goblin Zombie, and since he's being sent to the graveyard, I can take any zombie type monster from my deck with 1200 defense or less and add it to my hand, and I'll choose my Spirit Reaper.

But now, since I've sacrificed my Goblin Zombie, I'll use that tribute to summon my Red Eyes Zombie Dragon!"


"Normally, for a monster this high leveled, I'd have to use two monsters to summon him, but thanks to his special ability, if I sacrifice a Zombie monster, then I only need one. Now, Go, Red Eyes! Incinerate his Cyber Dragon!"

I watch as my monster gets destroyed "...Is that all?" I ask.

Alex felt satisfied as Cyber Dragon was destroyed.
"Yes. That will end my turn."

[Oersted]

"Alright then, first I'll set one card and activate Solidarity, increasing the ATK of all my machines by 800 points since its the only type of monster in my graveyard, then I'll normal summon Meklord Army of Granel. His effect allows me to reduce the ATK of your Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon by half, leaving it at 1200 points. Entering the battle phase I'll attack your dragon with Cyber Larva! Since their ATK is the same they're both destroyed which activates Cyber Larva's second effect, allowing me to summon another one from my deck, so I'll attack you directly with this new Cyber Larva and Meklord Army of Granel!"

Alex smirked and waved one finger.
"Not so fast.... Your little power up is gonna have to wait. I activate the trap card Dark Bribe."

"The bright side... You get to draw one card. The down side... Solidarity is destroyed."

[Oersted]

"Drat. I can still destroy your dragon though. I'll attack it with Meklord Army of Granel, costing you 400 life points!Then I'll attack directly with Cyber Larva for another 400 points of damage!"

Alex raised one arm to shield his face from the blasts from his Meklord and his Larva. the explosions lightly scorched his skin.

"Anything else?"

"I'll set another card and end my turn."

[Taintedone]

Alex drew his next card and smirked lightly.
"Alright.... Time to change the scenery... I'll play the field spell card Zombie World."

The field around them began to die and ghosts flew above their heads as they watched the land become littered with bones.
"If you had any plans to sacrifice, don't bother. Unless they're Zombies, you can tribute summon anymore. Oh, and all of our monsters in our graveyards and on the field are zombies too."
Before his eyes, Kiel's Meklord and his Cyber Larva turned into rotting corpses.
"Now I think I'll summon Double Coston in attack mode and have him destroy your Meklord."

[Oersted]

"I don't think so, I activate Draining Shield to block your attack and gain life points equal to your monster's ATK."

[Taintedone]

Alex frowned slightly but then smirked.
"Fine.... I'll end my turn for now."

[Oersted]

"I'll start up my turn by activating Dust Tornado to destroy your Zombie World. After that I'll summon Meklord Army of Skiel, and while I'm at it I'll also activate Call of the Haunted to bring back my Cyber Dragon, which I'll use to attack your Double Coston, and then attack directly with the rest of them!"

Alex blinked in surprise before he was blown back by the wave of lazer blasts.
