RWBY: Alternative Worlds! (Open)

[Drack]

Simon chuckles at Rodgers joke and walks past Leanna and Vincent. "Ha, perhaps so. I think everything is going to be alright now though." He says quietly as he follows Rodger back towards the dorms.

[Nexous]

You make your way back to the Dorm. "I will skip breakfast, and meet you in the first class." Vincent says removing his armor and just setting it on the floor rather than putting it up. He flops into bed cloths still on and is instantly out.
When Leanna sees him pass out she snickers. "I'm with him on that not goodnight." She says disappearing behind her curtain. You, and Rodger go to sleep too. You have a dream of walking through a dark cave. You're surrounded by grimm, but they just seem to ignore you, and you them. They just feel like background. You just walk endlessly until you wake up. Leanna is almost out the door heading to breakfast when she notices you wake up. She holds up one finger warning you to keep quite as she points the Rodger, and Vince still sleeping. She steps out the door where she waits for you.

[Drack]

Simon goes back with the others to their room before quickly going to sleep, this time his dreams are rather ominous, but bother him less than his one earlier in the night, but he soon wakes up to notice Leanna leaving, he quietly gets up and follows her out the door.

[Nexous]

You follow her to the banquet hall there you see Jack, an the rest of team JETT. You also see team VILT across the room glaring.

[Drack]

Simon walks into the Banquet hall with Leanna seeing both Team JETT and VILT sitting on opposite sides of the room with VILT glaring at Jack and the others, Simon chooses to remain quiet as he goes to make his plate before sitting down beside Jack and the rest of Team JETT.

[Nexous]

You approach team Jett, and Tina makes room for you, by nudging Jack, and the both scoot down leaving you a spot to sit opposite of him. This makes Leanna chuckle as she sits across the table with the other two team members. The rest of breakfast is quiet, and awkward with the tension of the two teams palpable. Eventually everyone gets up, and heads to the first class. "I think Tina is waiting on you to make a move." She says half jokingly, out of earshot of team JETT. "Poor girl is smitten as a kitten, meow." She says in a in an overly dramatized voice, until she gets to the last word, and switches to a higher, but cute pitch.

[Drack]

Simon sits down with a smile as he goes to eat his food, not really getting why Leanna was chuckling. Despite the tension between the JETT and VILT Simon chooses to remain quiet on the matter, remembering what happened the last time he got involved in the situation. On their way to class Leanna remarks about Tina is waiting for him to make the first move, Simon has his usual oblivious look. "W-wait, what move?" He says confused. Then she explains more finishing with a 'Meow' leaving Simon more perplexed, causing him to become flustered and his face to turn slightly red. An "O-okay." Is all he can muster as he sits down for class and begins flipping through his notebook trying to make sense of everything...

He finally came to the conclusion Tina has feelings for him, while it is true they have a lot in common being outsiders to modern civilization, he wasn't sure if the feelings we mutual...He has only spent a little bit of time with her after all, not to mention Simon has never really thought about having a partner as it's a thought still new to him. He would let it go for now and think more on the subject later. "Now, where are my weapon sketches?" He mumbles aloud finally calming now a bit, as he remembers today they would be crafting and upgrading their weapons in class.

[Nexous]

You and Leanna have a seat, and are shortly joined by Rodger, and Vincent. Durring class Leanna installs a cable replacing the chain and a much higher caliber round. The cable connected to the side of a grappling hook with a spike at the end. Rodger simply takes a cue from Tina, and Vincent, and upgrades his gun to be compatible with dust rounds. Vincent simply installed a barrell that can be quickly, and easily replaced.

[Drack]

Once his team is gathered up Simon begins his work. He quickly begins fixing and maintaining his old weapon before upgrading it to hold more rounds and able to fire semi-automatically. He then replaces the retractable blades with new ones. Afterwards he takes the old blades and works them together to make a fanned out spearhead to be fired from his gun.

[Nexous]

After you finish your weapon you head to the next class, the work takes you to the last second, so you are rushed to get to the next class. Team VILT, and team JETT are standing in the ring before the class even begins. You see Tina's bow has been upgraded to a more modern composite bow better suited to her smaller size. Jack now has a gauntlet, with a small shield connecting his chained weapon to himself as opposed to the bracer he use to have. He also seems to have cross bow built into the shield giving him a needed range attack. Vlad's crossbow now has a tube on it so he can introduce blood to bolts other than the one on top.
"Well looks like we already have some eager volunteers today, surely the team battle yesterday must have lit some real fire in their bellies." The teacher said. "They are even one upping it by having two full teams fight! So without further a due lay on!"
"Wolf hunt!" Jack says to his team, while Tommy Set up shop right where he was dropping into a prone position. Tina stepped forward, and shot a mist arrow into the middle of the field. Whitney stayed between Tina, and Tommy, and Jack ran into the mist. Tommy opened fire into the mist using his semblance to see though the mist like it wasn't there It hit Leopold as he was likewise charging into the mist.

Tina begins to lob White arrows into the air, and they come down in the mist as pillars of stone. Tommy fires off another round missing this time, There seems to be the sound of combat in the mist, but you are unable to see what is going on.

The next round Tina switches to Ice arrows as the mist starts to clear. silhouettes begin to form in the mist, as well as the pillars of stone standing straight up. Four figures seem to have one surrounded attacking it. Tommy fires as the one in the middle missing again. The two of the figures attacking land clean blows on him. "Leopold is out his aura has dropped to critical levels.
The remaining figures turn , and attack another figure that was close enough to fight one landing a clean blow to the back of the now outnumbered shadow. One of the figured further back aims a device at one of the shadows missing. The figure being attacked swings at one his foes and hits, causing it to fade away completely. The final figure then attacks another of the shadows hitting it causing it to likewise fade.

The next round begins with two of the shadows falling back behind the pillar, the one they were engaged with attacks, but misses completely. at this point the mist is almost completely gone. The figure that you can not see is Ivan follows two of the Jack clones past the pillars, as if on cue she fires one more ice arrow closing off the wall she had built separating Ivan from reinforcements. He attacks one of the jack clones hitting it, but not dispersing it. They, in turn attack him aided by the real jack who had been waiting in his ambush zone. one of the clones miss, but Jack, and the other clone manage to hit. Tommy then fires another round at Ivan hitting him. "Ivan is now down, will this be a clean sweep?

Vlad, and Ivan begin to make their way around the wall to meet up, and attack Jack, and his clones. Jack, his clones, Tina, and Tommy all take aim at Vlad as he rounds the corner, who in turn is firing at one of the jacks, but misses, as one bolt flies past his head, however the rest of the shots prove true. hitting him hard with two bolts, a bolt of electricity, and a bullet. "Vlad is now out, the clean sweep is looking more, and more real! astounding team work." Now Talat made it close enough to attack, but the Jack was too quick.

Now having him right where they wanted him all the Jacks surround Talat, as both Tina, and Tommy fire at him, but he dips out from the projectiles at the last second. The three jacks attack him. He manages to block one attack, but the other two get him. He then counters with his own attack, but it doesn't come close.

Once more Tina, and Tommy fire at Talat, however due to the combat he is engaged in miss again. The three jacks all attack again, and all three hit. Talat attacks one of the jacks again Getting a clean hit causing it to fade away as well.

Tina, and Tommy both fire, and miss again. The combat however quickly comes to and end as Talat, and one of the Jacks parry each other, the second jack get him in the back. "There you have it, the winner by a large margin is team Jett! Why Whitney didn't even need to use her healing ability this round. I hope you all learn something from this spectacular round!" (Leo was subbing for nameless teacher the first day.)

[Drack]

Simon makes the finishing touches on his weapon just as class ends, forcing him to rush to the next class...when he finally gets there he sees that JETT and VILT are already in the ring ready to square off. Simon at first figured this match would be a down to the wire battle...but his friends in JETT proved him wrong with a dominant performance against Vlad and his friends.

Simon sat back in his chair with a sigh...while he doubted it will happen, a small part of him hoped this complete loss will finally humble Vlad and the rest of VILT.

[Nexous]

Vlad turns to his team. "You idiots why did you rush into the mist? Ivan you were the worst of them following them into a trap? What is wrong with you?" It breaks out into a full argument complete with swearing, and insults until the teacher sends them out.
"Right, so who's next?" The teacher asks. A couple of people volunteer and the rest of the day runs by smoothly.

[Drack]

Simon sighs shaking his head as he leans back into his seat as Vlad and his teammates turn on each other. For once Simon opted not to fight today despite wanting to try out his upgraded weapon. Instead watched some of this other classmates battle and took notes on ways to improve his own fighting and his team's. He had to admit JETT's teamwork was stunning, and knew he and his friends had to keep up. Once class ended for the day Simon walks with his teammates outside the school. "So, anyplace in particular you guys want to go today?" He asks.

[Nexous]

"I think I've seen enough action for today. Why done we change, and just go to the park." Leanna says. "I can make sandwiches, and one of you can get drinks, and the other two can get side dishes and we can have a picnic!"
"Good call, I shall handle the beverages." Vincent chimes in.
"Oh, bring something to swim in." Leanna says as she takes off.

[Drack]

When Leanna suggests that we have a picnic at the park Simon nods with a grin "Sounds like a great idea." When she offers to make the sandwiches and Vincent offers to get the drinks Simon turns to Rodger. "Well, guess that leaves the two of us to get the side dishes...any idea's on what we should get?"

[Nexous]

"IMMA get potato salad, best of luck to ya. One side inna gon be enough" He says with a smirk, and takes off himself.

[Drack]

"Ah..alright then." Simon says as Rodger quickly leaves. He then looks around for a moment before going off on his own to find a place to shop for sides of his own.

[Nexous]

You soon come across a small grocery store, where you see Tina, and Whitney shopping. Whitney has a basket with some vegies, and a carrot cake. Tina has a verity of nuts, dried fruit, and jerky. "See this is a wonderful bonding experience." Whitney said chipperly.
"It will not last..." Says Tina looking at Whitney
"What?" She asks sounding surprised, and a little offended.
"The food will not last. Fresh foods spoil quickly." Tina replies.
"Oh, the food. I suppose you're right, but I'm sure it everyone snacks on it it well be gone before it spoils." Neither of the ladies seem to notice you yet.

[Drack]

Simon wanders into a small grocery store and spots Tina and Whitney doing their own shopping. "Afternoon." Simon says cheerfully with a nod at the two girls as he does his own shopping. "How are you two doing...I'm just picking up a few sides for a picnic."

[Nexous]

"Oh, hi Simon. I didn't notice you. Oh, you should totally bring dessert! Maybe a nice strawberry shortcake." Whitney chimed in helpfully.
"It won't last." Tina chimed in.
"It doesn't need to, it's a picnic." She retorted. "Just something fun.
