Gabriel finishes his drink and looks to Zelos, "Yeah that sounds good to me." He stands up and bows slightly to Heather, "Thank you for the delicious meal. May the rest of the night be pleasent."

Then turning to Edea and Melonie he also slightly bows " Ladies, i thanm you for your company and bid thee goodnight."

[Nexous]

I take a seat at the table, and give them a cheeky smirk. However when I Olivia seems to be in a dower mood I rethink my tease. "I too ate, I just felt I would enjoy the company." When Olivia commented about her compared to her peers, and changed the topic, I let my usual bravado drop slightly, and gave her a gentle smile. "Ms. Olivia, one mustn't compare one's self to their peers. Would Asmund compare himself to me he would lament his woefully drab life... and I to him I wouldn't compare to his power in combat, or his levelheadedness. Just compare who you are today, to who you were yesterday. I'm certain you will find yourself to be stronger than she. It's as simple as that. Be stronger today than you were yesterday, and be stronger tomorrow than you were today." I let out a sigh before once more picking up my usual personality. "As for what I have been up to, shining in my incomparable style, making friends." I say motioning to Dorothy. Then I let my voice soften a little once more. "And lending a listening ear to others who are having a hard time." Then once more with gusto in my voice. "Finally, I am becoming a stronger man, and warrior than I was yesterday."

Melonie looked rather thoughtful as Heather offered for her to stay with her." I t-think I would like to stay here with you if that's alright. As much as I would like to meet everyone else I feel pretty overwhelmed, and this place seems like a really nice place to stay in all honesty. " She plays with her hair for a moment before giggling." It almost sounds like we're going to have a slumber party." She waves to the guys as they start to head out. " See you all tomorrow! Rest well!"

[Creator_Drake]

Asmund smirked while listening to Nate's words, the sentiment rung true within him as well. He nodded, Beldum matching the movement. "Hmm, it seems Sir Nate can actually be serious." The Metalnian bumps Nate on the shoulder playfully with his elbow before taking his own seat.

"He speaks the truth however. Improve yourself compared to yesterday, even a little bit and you will become closer to what you wish to be faster than you realize. The world we live in is akin too a grand forge. All of us here-" He gestured to both the group at the table and those around them. "start off like blocks of metal; raw, unrefined yet filled with potential. Life is like the bellows of flame; providing the heat to grant us malleability, opening the doorway for us to adapt, change. While the challenges we face each day is like the hammer, the file, or the wedge; the tools by which we are refined and shaped to become what we can and wish to be. Every day we are 're-heated'-" Smiling, he spoke the word with finger quotes. "-and every night we are cooled while we rest, strengthening us little by little. Each day brings a change, sometimes big, other times small. The same goes for how we refine ourselves, for while life and its challenges brings about changes whether we desire it or not, we alone choose how we face it. He smiled confidently, meaningfully with a surprising tinge of softness at both Olivia and Ivadi in turn.

"I know that with recent events it can feel overwhelming, but if there is one thing to remember? Regardless of what comes you aren't alone. We originally came here to strengthen our bonds as allies, we can do much the same as friends. Support one another, be the pillar others needs when they need it and be open so that others can do the same for you. I know you can count on myself if and when the need arises, and I feel I can say the same for both Sir Nate, Lady Dorothy and a number of the other heir and warriors here. We're all in this together, and we can face this together. So don't let where you stand now be a point of concern, for it is merely your starting point. Instead think of where you wish to be then work towards it, one day at a time. Together."

Asmund and Nate:

Ivadi and Olivia seem look at each other for a moment seeming to mull over everyone's words. Some of the nearby guards start to clap and cheer drawing attention to the table. Dorothy then smirks. "Well said you two, and honestly most of us are lacking in experience as well...the majority of the guards are farmers, students, and normal commoners, but we are spending our free time keeping Palette safe as volunteers. It would be honest to say the majority of us are feeling overwhelmed about the Invaders as well, but knowing that all of the royal son's and daughters are in our corner is a pretty hefty moral boost!" She says with a big grin and gives a thumbs up to the two of you and a quick wink at Nate, causing the whole hall to erupt in cheers and merriment.

"Everyone, thank you for your kind words. I too shall start trying to be a better me!" Olivia says cheerfully.

Ivadi nods. "Yes, your words are just what I needed to hear. I will do my best to take everyone's advice to heart." He says with a bow with his Ralts.

Dorothy lets out a soft sigh as all of the other guards' attention turns back to their own tables and the noise starts to die down again. "Anyways, I'm hungry so I'm going to get in line, Asmund if you wanna stay here and chat with friends I'll get you a plate of stew too." She says getting up from her chair.

Olivia chimes in. "So, was everyone planning on doing some training tomorrow, because to be honest I've never actually done any training with Vulpix before...the only battles Vulpix and I have been in are the ones from today."

Melonie:

Gabriel, Zelos and Peter say their goodbyes and depart. Heather then puts down the glass she was cleaning and walks over to the sign on the door and flips it around from open to closed. "Whew, well Edea I'm going to start cleaning up with my family if you want to show Melonie to my room so she can get settled in if she wants."

"Ohhh, that's a good idea Heather!" Edea says cheerfully turning to you. "Once your finished with your meal I can help you get settled in!" She says as she starts stacking everyone's plates up.

Gabriel:

The ladies bid you farewell as you, Zelos and Peter leave for the night back out into the empty streets of Palette as the three of you head for the Barracks. Peter speaks up. "Well, I know I'll be glad to put my head down for the night, but I wonder what Graham and Reyn are up to? They went to the castle, but they should have made their to the Blissey by now..." He says in a slightly worried tone.

Zelos shrugs. "Eh, more than likely Kanbei and Maxwell wanted to pick Graham's brain about what to do about Wattray's situation, when they get done they'll likely just go to bed. As for everyone else, I'm sure everyone else is already at the Barracks getting ready to turn in for the night, except perhaps the girls they went to the bath-house after the tournament..." He pauses looking back into town. "I'm sure they done soaking by now though, so they should be on their way as well."

Peter nods. "I guess that makes since, I was just wanting to make sure everyone is accounted for before going to bed...for a bit of peace of mind at least." He says with a nervous laugh.

[Creator_Drake]

"Are you sure Lady Dorothy? You....and she's gone." He let his arm drop shaking his head with a resigned smirk. "She's a mighty handful." With a chuckle Asmund turned back to the others.

"To answer your question Lady Olivia, I plan to get some training in after Beldum is healed from the last bout of the mini tournament tomorrow morning. There are tales of the power Beldum can obtain but there are also tales of the lengths it will take to reach it. Today was a good start for us but we must keep pushing forward. Ever closer, ever higher." Leaning back in his chair Asmund looked at the boys and their respective Ralt's.

"Sir Ivadi? Sir Nate? What say you for tomorrow?"

[Nexous]

Nate slightly shrinks in his seat. "I... didn't think anyone was listening..." He says felling awkward to be caught in a serious moment. He however does return Dorothy's wink with a smile.
When Asmund says that she's a handful gives him a grin. "Yes, but she pulls it off so well."
"Athena, and I would be delighted to join you tomorrow after I pick her up from Maxwell. I doo look forward to what move she will learn."

[Heero]

"Well should we swing by to see if they are done and would like a escort backto their barracks?" Asks Gabriel

Melonie by that point had basically finished up her meal, she smiles to Edea before nodding." Lead the way then! I am super excited about tomorrow but I know if I don't sleep I'll be too cranky to enjoy the day. " She would follow Edea after helping clean up a bit. The girl didn't want to leave a mess after all.

[Drack]

Asmund and Nate:

Olivia nods as Asmund invites her for training. "That does sound like that would quite helpful, but what do you mean Maxwell is teaching your Ralts a new move?" She asks quizzically.

Ivadi speaks up. "I believe that Sir Maxwell is Move Tutor, a person who is specially trained in teaching Pokémon rare moves it might not know, or learn naturally in the wild. It is quite a rare talent indeed, and Palette is quite fortunate to have such a skill warrior to have on their side."

"Ohh...that might be a good idea, to see what special moves he can teach our Pokémon, A new super strong move might make a big difference in battle." Olivia says excitedly..

At that point, Annette returns with her Staravia perched on her shoulder and takes a seat at the table next to OIivia. "Greetings, I trust everything is going well from all the cheering I heard on my way back." She says with a smile.

Olivia speaks up. "Well, Nate mentioned his Ralts is getting a new move from Maxwell, so I was thinking if we all got super powerful moves from him we could just run though the Empire!"

Annette chuckles. "Unfortunately I doubt it will be that easy, but your enthusiasm is quite appreciated. Having strong moves is nice in all but if you and your Pokémon lack the experience to use them properly they will have little impact in battle."

Melonie:

Edea and Heather happily accept your assistance in helping clean up the mess. "Thank you so much for the help Melonie, it's not too often I get a extra hand on the floor, much less two from you and Edea." Heather says happily, but then she stops as she gets to the door to the kitchen. "I suppose I should give you a heads up Melonie, my family is in the kitchen cleaning up. They are all good people, but my dad can be a little eccentric about cooking."

"Oh it should be fine." Edea says dismissively pressing her to go on to which Heather does as the three of you walk back into the kitchen and see a tall middle aged man with short brown hair in a chef outfit cleaning dishes alongside 3 small children two boys and a girl, all looking to be around the age of 8.

The kids all cheer and rush to Heather's side chanting happily. "Sissy-Sissy!" Heather somehow manages to keep her balance and hands off her plates to the man. "Woah, there-there...play time comes after work you three." She says picking the girl up.

The man stops his work. "Thank you for the hard work today kids. I know today was scary with that bandit attack, but we are all safe...and it's a good thing they didn't come in here or I would of showed them that those nasty bandits got 'muffin' on me!" He says with a big grin while holding up a spatula causing the children to laugh and cheer, Edea giggles looking away, while Heather just sighs shaking her head. He then turns his attention to you. "Why hello there dear, I recognize our crown princess but I don't think I've met you before."

Gabriel:

When you ask to go to the bath house to meet up with the other girls Peter seems to mull it over for a moment, however Zelos stares at you for a moment before erupting into laughter. "Haha, I didn't know you had jokes....escort, ha. I know the ladies except Cassandra didn't get the opportunity to show their strengths in the training bout, but trust me when I say they are more then capable of handling themselves."

Peter sighs and nods. "Yeah, I guess that is true. Not to mention the town guards are doing are doing rounds in town they should be fine making it to the Barracks, not to mention we are almost at out destination." Peter says pointing a rather large building standing about three levels tall just down at the end of the street.

Zelos yawns. "Well, you two do what you want as much I would love to spend time with the ladies I'm not up for a wild Swanna chase, so I'm going to bed." He says before heading off towards the Barracks.

Peter stands there silently beside his Pokémon before speaking. "Well, I hate to say it, but I agree with him. It's too late for all that running around back to the other side of town is a bit much...besides, I'm sure there is a good chance Reyn and Graham will run into them." He says with a shrug.

[Nexous]

I nod at Annette's assessment. "True, and having a powerful pokemon is better than having a powerful attack. For example Gabriel has a move that for now at least is quite powerful, but as his partner grows in power that move will become less, and less useful. Even were he to face Kanbei well even if he got the first hit he wouldn't stand much of a chance." I ponder for a moment before I stand up, and dismiss myself. "Please excuse me, I think I'm going to turn in. It's been a foul day, and I'm just soiling my own mood thinking about such unpleasant things." With that I head off to find my assigned bed.

Melonie smiles softly." Aww I'm sure it'll be fine! Back home many chefs were a bit eccentric!" She shrugs a little bit. The girl watches the kids nearly trip their big sister before giggling happily. Melonie didn't have any siblings but she had always wanted to be a big sister. Watching the family laugh and work together made her miss home just a bit." Muffin.." She puffs her cheeks a little trying hard not to laugh at the dad's pun but failing misserably. " That was a good one! I love word play!" Melonie bows her head." My name is Melonie it is a pleasure to meet you all." She says softly before putting the dishes down.

[Heero]

"True enough i suppose...was just a suggestion...i may stay up a bit longer...seems like a nice night. I will see you in the morning for breakfsst then...have a good night." Says Gabriel giving peter a nod before walking along.
