World of Monstergirls

Post by Oersted »

Hello everyone.
Now, some of you might remember I used to have a link leading to a RPing site in my sig.(before I changed to the DPS one.)

Anyway, for quite a while the site has been almost dead, I find this sad as this is where I actually learned to role play, so I thought talking about it in more detail might interest some people to at least try it.

Now firstly, the site was originally made and lead by The Architect as he was called on MGU (Goes by Greave on WoMG though) and the whole setting is basically his take on the MGE, the differences I can remember being:
1.Monstergirls can obtain spirit energy from human women. (Making it possible for a monstergirl to actually by a lesbian.)
2.The setting is a bit more realist. As an example, imagine a charybdis drags down a ship with her whirlpool, people on it could drown before reaching the charybdis or if she doesn't like them and no other MG happens to be nearby and you could also get hurt and/or killed by the ship's pieces.(Because I doubt a ship would stay in one piece the whole time...)

I'm going to copy paste the plot and setting from the site as I doubt I could explain it in my words...

Setting
Spoiler: show
The vast world of monstergirls, dubbed "Euphoria", is where the roleplay for the "World of Monstergirls" is set in.

There are many separate areas in Euphoria, be it the icy wastelands of Nord, the massive forests and grassy plains of Eden, the vast desolate desert of Outremer, or the oriental lands of Zipangu. The roleplay takes place within a special crossroads region, where the four regions meet, in a place known as Elysium, located in the northeast corner of Euphoria.

Within Elysium, no one faction has complete power, unlike the fully demon-ruled Nord, the Church-dominated Eden, the Pharaoh-worshiping Outremer, or the Shogunate-occupied Zipangu. In Elysium, each faction struggles for dominance. All have a foothold within, but none of them can totally upset this precarious balance of power. It is within this diverse, chaotic land, that the roleplay takes place.
Plot
Spoiler: show
In the beginning, there existed only one great entity, known to us as the Supreme God of Order.

It was He who saw fit to create the world as we know it now. It was He who wrought our world, the fantastical world of Euphoria, into existence. He saw fit to create a land of great diversity and wonder, merging lush greenery, barren landscapes, icy wastelands, glittering sapphire seas, oriental islands, and tropical archipelagos, all unto one. When He was done, he then populated Euphoria with all manner of races, be it the adaptable humans, the proud elves, or the hardy dwarves.

Out of respect for the Supreme God of Order's efforts, various races reacted differently. Elvenkind founded the Temple of Order, that they may keep watch over the Supreme One's creations and respect the life He granted them. Dwarven Clans built the magnificent Shrines of Order, so that the Supreme One's actions would never be forgotten. Humanity took a more direct approach, and founded the Church of Order, that they may worship Him fanatically and ask for his guidance, building their civilizations around a way of life advocated to them by their appointed clergy.

Yet, though some races acknowledged the Supreme God's teachings, some, did not, and scorned the others, attacking, even waging war, upon they who worshiped the Supreme One rightfully. In anger, the Supreme God stripped these heretical races of their sentience, turning them into unintelligent beasts known as 'monsters'. Among those cast down into the ranks of monsterkind were the orcs, the ogres, the goblins, and more.

There would come a time when the Supreme One's unfathomable greatness would be his greatest fault.

There was, at the Supreme One's side, a vast host of the holiest, most judicious beings, known as the angels. This heavenly host tended to the Supreme God of Order, following His every order and establishing His creed wherever they went. They were known to venture out to Euphoria to carry His word out to the people, and wherever they appeared the people knelt in reverence and fear of the righteous.

One of these angels would be the trigger to the greatest calamity to befall Euphoria. Her name has been struck from the holiest accords for her blasphemy, and she is known only as the Fallen. The Fallen was beautiful, there was no doubt about that; all who saw her noted her charm, and her wit was beyond compare, as were her prowess in combat. She was, by far, one of the Supreme One's most trusted lieutenants. Yet, as the Supreme One toiled for our sake, she grew steadily more and more jealous of how much the Supreme One did for the people, for she wanted his love to herself, and she did dearly want to be his consort. So twisted her desires and wishes became, that she flew out to Euphoria and gathered the monsters under one banner, then sent them on a great, terrible march against all civilization. This terrible war that devastated Euphoria would forever be known in the annals of history as the War of Reckoning.

At that time, all the races of the world were united and ruled by a great entity known as the Empire of Magnus. The War of Reckoning was so great and terrible that it cast down imperial rule and splintered all the races once more. Now, all that remain of the old imperial reign are ruins and artifacts.

When the Supreme One found out what the Fallen had done, in his rage, he tore from her all the virtues he had given her, and cast her down into the deepest pits of depravity known to mortals as the fearsome realm of Hell. There, the once-pure being was tormented and torn to shreds, raped, sullied, and degraded, and in her newfound hatred of the Supreme One and all civilization, she was reborn by the darkest powers and rose again as epitome of lust and evil, the Dark Goddess of Chaos, cowering even her hellish wardens with her dread powers and carnal depravity. From that moment on, Hell was reborn as Pandemonium, the otherworldly land of crazed lust.

Though the Fallen was banished, her actions were not without consequence. The people, upon finding out it was an angel who orchestrated the War of Reckoning, slowly lost their faith in the Supreme One, and He, knowing their blasphemy was but righteous, could only look on sadly as His flock turned away from Him.

The Dark Goddess of Chaos, in her exile, plotted incessantly against the races of Euphoria, until at last, she came up with a solution. She would engineer a creature of such beauty that no man could possibly resist her, and grant unto her the powers to completely reshape in her image those without faith in the Supreme One, and thus without protection from His grace. This daughter of lust became known as Lilith upon her birth, and her cursed power became known as the Blight.

Along with a contingent of lusty, demonic followers born in her image - the Succubi - amongst many other demonic creatures who took form as soon as they entered the mortal realm of Euphoria - Lilith entered the mortal lands and, along with her Demonic Army, quickly became known as the Demon Queen. Upon her tortured throne, Lilith sent the Blight out into the world. Those who fell to it first were the monsters, for they had long been without faith in the Supreme One. Immediately, all manner of monsters, originally strange-looking beasts in a variety of shapes and sizes, under the influence of the Blight, were slowly transformed into buxom, beautiful forms reminiscent of humanoid females. These monsters, originally spotted in the oriental lands of Zipangu where Lilith first crept out, became known as the "Mamono", but in the rest of the civilized world, they quickly took on the name of "Monstergirls".

These monstergirls had no males to speak of - only females have ever been spotted. Within a short span of what seemed like days all monsterkind had been warped into these new, beautiful, seductive forms. They had to receive sustenance in the form of semen, and indeed, having no way of reproduction among their own kind, the continuation of their species depended on this as well. This led to a frenzy of attacks against known civilization, which quickly swept any defense mounted well away, for even if willing to fight, who would withstand the charms of these creatures?

As all monstergirls can only reproduce through copulation with chosen males of sentient races, and because the offspring of a monstergirl and a male of another race will always be a monstergirl, and add to the fact few men would want to be separated from a monstergirl lover, a serious fear of an utter decline in population was raised as a concern. Furthermore, it was discovered that, with extended proximity to a monstergirl lover, a man would be transformed into an incubus - a demonic servant under Demon Queen Lilith, subservient to her reign. The promise of a transformation into a greater being of lust and power tempted many men more than the charms of the monstergirls themselves.

As if all this wasn't enough, it was discovered that, should all the males of one race be won over by the monstergirls, then their remnant females would be subject to the curse of the Blight as well, and became monstergirls themselves. The first race to fall were the Dwarven Clans, and after all their males had been won over - the female dwarves were converted into monstergirls under Lilith's command. The second race to fall was Elvenkind, and, after all their males had been lost, the female elves, too, were converted to monstergirls. One by one the races fell, until all that was left - was humanity.

In desperation, humanity returned to their roots, and begun a fanatical worship of the Supreme God of Order. The Supreme One gave humanity strength, and they raised an army of the faithful, for humanity was ever-xenophobic as a race to begin with. As per the Supreme One's wishes, humanity's separate kingdoms and empires banded together under one mighty unified front, which became known as the Fifteen Duchies - a coalition of fifteen god-fearing human nations, led by the Church of Order. Thus united, humanity waged a bloody war against the monstergirls, and this became known as the Crusade.

Those who led the Crusade were the foremost heroes of the Duchies, known as Heroes. These mighty Heroes, numbering fifteen in all, each one representing one Duchy, triumphed against the monstergirls again and again, until they finally drove them out of human lands. Once this was done, the Church of Order was content to reinforce their borders and prevent further incursion, However, the Heroes were not so easily sated, and insisted the war be brought to blighted lands. The Church of Order refused and ordered that the Heroes return at once. The leader of the Heroes, a man named Lucien, refused the order, and along with him he took six heroes and went on his way. The vice-leader, a man named Valhart and Lucien's closest friend, obeyed the summons and returned to human lands with the other five heroes. The Heroes who decided to fight on gathered a small band of faithful supporters and marched on. They were doomed to fail, for in their own lands the Demonic Army was stronger than expected, and one by one the Heroes fell and succumbed to lust.

Lucien himself took the fancy of the Demon Queen Lilith, and she gave up her harem in order to be with him. Their union formed the Blighted Throne, ruled over by a Demon King (Lucien) and a more dominant Demon Queen (Lilith). Lucien and Lilith's coupling encouraged the other Heroes to do the same, and five of them became known as the Fallen Heroes. The sixth, however, did not wish for demons to rule over humanity, but he was tolerant and willing for monstergirls and humanity to co-exist, believing it possible. With this in mind, the sixth hero left and headed for the oriental lands of Zipangu, where he hailed from, and installed himself as the Shogun, ruler of Zipangu and advocate of a human-monstergirl union. This made Zipangu relinquish their position as one of the Duchies; furthermore, two of the loyalist Heroes who sided with Valhart, died in battle against monstergirl incursions, and the Duchies they represented pulled out unhappily. This reduced the Fifteen Duchies to the Twelve Duchies.

After genuinely falling in love with Lucien, the Demon Queen Lilith decided not to wage war actively on humans, and was content to rule over her newly-established Demon Realm in peace, along with her lover.

This passiveness enraged the Dark Goddess of Chaos, but Lilith no longer listened to her summons and beckoning, and turned a deaf ear. In response, the Dark Goddess of Chaos hatched another plan for revenge on her traitorous daughter...

The forces of humanity, now gathered under the Church of Order, are now locked in an endless struggle with the Demonic Army hailing from the Demon Realm, who at times sally forth, unordered, to take captive human prey. Neither side can budge. And various belligerents from all sides encroach upon them.

These hostilities cannot be unleashed upon the mainland, but within the rural, enclosed northeastern region of Elysium, ungoverned by any faction, untainted by any war, it is likely that conflict will rise...
Also, since you can play as a monstergirl and there are some who are, frankly, very much overpowered the following MGs require approval from a moderator(called Storytellers) to play as one:
-Baphomet
-Dhampir
-Echidna
-Kunoichi
-Inari
-Lilim
-Oomukade
-Ushi-Oni
Note:I'm not the one who decided on those so please, don't ask me why *insert MG name here* is or isn't restricted.

I don't know what else to add so I'll just put the link so those who are interested can check it out:

If you have any question I'll do my best to answer them.

Also, I originally asked Tsar for permission to put the link in my sig so I hope I'm allowed to post this...If not, I'm sorry.
