Re: [OOC] MGE DASH: Painkillers' Resources (4/6)
My character, R.O.S.I.E., already has the dark matter element, the void shots. I think it would be cool if she got a different element, but I'm afraid that would deactivate her. (since it is the void shots from Aria when she used to be a digger, that brought her to life.)
I've also noticed that my profiles have completely disappeared. What the heck happened to them?

Hey Chaos, Rezeed tells me you're ready but seeing your ground-based mechs are still under construction I kinda doubt that. Also, don't forget to put your character's appearance and personality.

Yeah, Ground based Mechs are taking a bit of time. Slowly trying to theme them out properly. I'm being a bit over perfectionist with them.

Sorry guys for the really snail-paced updates we're all having. Truth is, not only am I the laziest person on Earth but I'm also not into MegaMan very much so I won't blame Rezeed if he decides to say "F*** off KillMoves! Your DMing is horrible and slow!"
Anyway, I'm doing my utmost best to write an update and... what element would you guys want for your Busters? It'll help me decide what girl I should give you.

Re: [OOC] MGE DASH: Painkillers' Resources (4/6)
I don't bite the hand that feeds me. While the universe is an adaptation of Megaman Legends, it still it's own identity so you don't need to see it as a megaman universe but rather an MG universe in general. The fact of the matter is that you are willing to actually give this universe a shot and even host an RP. This helps me out and gives me ideas as well. It helps me out by ironing out details as well as see what should be added.
As for the current RP, for elementals, as long as it's not void/darkness. Just remember, I somewhat recently added a new slew of buster parts. A handful of them do give elemental properties, even without having/needing a pact. You don't even need to give an elemental to a player. Just go with what you think would fit the player or what you think would be interesting to see.

I don't really know what element I want actually, I'll leave it to you to decide what my character will have my guy hasn't been in combat yet, so there is nothing to judge as of now.

If you want Scrapmaster, you can always check the section on MGE DASH on Elementals. I explain what benefits and malfactors come with the territory. Basically, I give extra benefits aside from letting your buster gun get additional traits.

Also, how tough are chaos marines to take down with a Power C buster?, He has a Ran C power and energy, which makes him fire 5 shots per burst, im asking how many shots in the chest?

Depends actually. Each individual Family unit's health varies.Scrapmaster wrote:Also, how tough are chaos marines to take down with a Power C buster?, He has a Ran C power and energy, which makes him fire 5 shots per burst, im asking how many shots in the chest?
i.e. shoot him 'til I write that he is no longer standing.

Re: [OOC] MGE DASH: Painkillers' Resources (4/6)
You can still punch and kick. Heck, with Zakobons you can take them out by kicking them around 6 times.
On a inRP note, I was really tempted to make an extremely convoluted plan to allow Asuna to go to a good hiding spot until the big coward that couldn't even kick a Zakobon into submission.(Which could make sense with someone that hails from the Mannaz Continent) However, I chose that course of action I laid out to make it more interesting for those who are reading my RP posts.

Re: [OOC] MGE DASH: Painkillers' Resources (4/6)
a question though, if one has enough affinity with one type of contract (like earth for example) would he/she be able to increase the contracts's existing abilities? like with earth instead of being able to punch for C damage, with enough affinity and mastery, could you have your punches do A rank damage?Rezeed wrote:You can still punch and kick. Its not like our characters are gonna get contracts any time soon. I don't even want a contract >.>, I like being neutral and I don't see many advantages with dark buster since Killmoves specified the family mooks have resistance to dark.

Re: [OOC] MGE DASH: Painkillers' Resources (4/6)
Perhaps you should take a closer look at my elemental details I've written. I have done some updates to it. I do go into a lot more detail about it.
Different element pacts give natural benefits with and without the buster gun. However, I don't set any perks that can increase your ability to punch. Technically, you can count wind type pacts for improving one's ability to kick, but that's for a reason I'll state bellow. The only exception to the punches thing is to have an earth type elemental pact with an MG that is capable of earth pacts(doesn't HAVE to be a golem, Earth Genies work, and there are some MG that can do it as well) and posses the Super Arm Buster part.(Just look at the buster part listings. I did create some unique busters parts and ones inspired by classic Robot Masters from the megaman games)
For example, ice type pacts make it impossible for one to slip on ice. By that, I mean people with ice type pacts would have perfect traction even on slippery icy floors.
Just to list off a few good perks without the buster gun when it comes to elemental pacts.(These are not all the perks for all the elements,)
Earth type pacts: Little to no knockback, Iron like grip, your body become armored, making the digger or the person with a pact a walking tank.
Water Type pacts: Being able to breath underwater without any special device while having the mobility of a fish underwater.(There are special parts for the POW Suit that allows one to breath underwater)
Wind Type Pacts: Higher jumping ability, higher mobility in the air(to the point where you can control your falling trajectory really well), and a higher running speed.
Some noted perhaps to buster shots that has been imbued with aside from the elemental properties.(These are not all the perks for all the elements,)
Wind type pacts causes a lot of knockback.
Earth type pacts: You can make stone/steel your own ladders/stairs off your buster shots.
Light type pacts: Can cure females that have been transformed from Void type shots painlessly, can be used as a makeshift flashlight
Void type: Human Females can transform into monsters either based on Lineage and personality, can cause people who have been hit to go temporarily blind.
Even if Shadow/Void damage is weaker with on some Family members, it doesn't change the fact they will still be affected by it's side effects regardless. A female family member or reaverbot will still transform after enough shots, and all of them will still go temporarily blind if hit by the shot which gives the opportunity to take them out with subweapons while they are blind. However, having the Shadow Blade Buster Part will do the same kind of effect.
If you have any more questions related to MGE DASH itself, feel free to post them on the MGE DASH thread.

Re: [OOC] MGE DASH: Painkillers' Resources (4/6)
That was meant to be a OOC teasing way to refer to the guy since he has no name yet(as far as I and the character knows and there's no other way to identify him apart from other characters in the RP. To be fair, since the guy is pretty big and is wearing armor, he should be able to kick Zakobons with his graves(the metal shoe/boot part of the armor). In general, it probably would take a few more kicks than using a POW suit to kick a Zakobon into submission since the materials would be considerably weaker than what the POW Suit is made up of. However, since it's a big guy, it probably would round out.KillMoves wrote:"HEY! Who are you calling--"Rezeed wrote:the big coward that couldn't even kick a Zakobon into submission

I knew I had a bad feeling about something...now I know, oh well, if you have already got a contract thought out for my character, sure, why not?
but that still makes me worry a little bit
blinding would be good indeed, although I wouldn't want to trust a reaverbot >.>
