Despite the situation Drake was in serious contemplation. Bhaltair was a good-no, great opponent to face. Reminded him a great deal of Kenpachi when he thought about it, only a little more liberal in how he fought compared to the manic captain of the 11th squad. If he wasn't keeping a persona up Drake would have taken things quite differently, but since he was Drake was limited on what he could do. It would explain why Drake took the extra precaution to not get hit by Bhaltair's blade.
Dodging the thrust Drake spun, the club end of the sheath catching on a section of Garland's blade. Pulling himself closer to Bhaltair's side Drake continued with the momentum, swinging Kurogame swiftly towards the large Scotsman's shoulder and head. Using only enough power to keep Kurogame from possibly breaking the blade met the ice armour with a loud clang! Bhaltair's right pauldron piece now sported a long but thin cut, more of a scratch really. But more importantly it was noticeable, something he knew Bhaltair was take note of when inspecting his armor later.

Eyes grew wide as missing puzzle pieces fell into place, Drake finally understood the strange feeling he had since this battle began. Everything had a steady flow that was somewhat rare on the battlefield from what Drake knew. Before anything else however, Drake was struck by a pair of cries from his soulscape, their pair making him stumble in open shock. This was new and it was something Drake did not like, even as said partners tried to tell him they were alright.
Spinning his head so quick one would think he'd have whiplash, Drake instantly caught Finella in his gaze, seeing Natsume crumble to the ground while catching Myriad's own distress. Drake had been somewhat content with how the battle had gone so far, this attack unintentional as it was to his partners changed everything, almost.
Not giving Bhatair another look Drake barreled towards Finella with a cold anger in his gaze, something all his bonded girls could feel. He didn't have as much spiritual power to use but he had enough to keep himself little more than a quarter inch off the ground as he ran, any more and his cover would be blown. Drake arched Kurogame's blade over himself while running, deflecting Greer's lasers like an afterthought, a beam grazing Murron's shoulder as it passed by from a lucky angle.
Closing in on Finella's rear Drake spun on his heel bringing both blade and club together to strike her center, a bellow escaping his throat, one that could equal Bhaltair's intensity. If she turned towards him to defend, she would find the softest of glows coming from his eyes...
Mary was not having a good time. Her sumo opponent's latest attack sending her for a loop as she landed on the ground hard, again. If she were honest with herself this battle was completely out of her element, not just because of her opponents great deal of skill compared to her own but because she was fighting on her own without Drake's support, verbal or mental. He was busy trying to keep up appearances while fighting the other tamer, which from the flashes she received through the bond was a master swordsman. The flashes themselves being a distraction in of themselves.
She then felt the pain of Drake's partners through the bond, as well as his surprise and rise of anger. It was a deep anger, not like the rage she felt back at Chrono's tower but still intense. Getting up she watched as her master closed in on the Archmage who she noticed was walking towards her, intending to help her Sumo teammate no doubt. Acting quickly she launched another Wings of Shaddai attack at Glenna as she was rocked by Glenna's lasers, followed by a Penance Gaze prepped when the Sumo would attack. All the while a Heaven's Gate red as blood began to open beside Finella...
Niri knew if anyone saw her in her current predicament she'd never hear the end of it. Her mind raced as blood began to rush to her head. Straightening her legs against her tail the Leviathan concentrated as hard as she could, forming a pair of dense balls of water in her hands. Cupping them together she then released a powerful stream towards the ground, sending her skyward and ripping her tail from Dollag's grip, painfully. Gritting her teeth she heard Natsume's cry, and the events that followed made her own anger rise. Kurogame was dear to her, despite the oddity of that situation in of itself. Gazing towards her master at the apex of her 'jump' Niri caught sight of Finella moving towards her Demi-Elohim sister.
With narrowed eyes she quickly sent a weak snipe of water towards the Archmage.
'Even if we lose here, I'll be damned if we don't take one of them with us!' It would be enough to make the Archmage spin if it connected.
That in mind Niri took another risk. She didn't have the same height like in Crono's lair but she had enough. Curling in Niri spun as her tail morphed once more, the space between girls closing as her tail glowed brightly once more. Regardless of what happened she knew that was it for her in this fight, the Video girl's lasers battering her as she fell.
"Try this!" With a cry Niri brought her fully transformed tail upon Dollag's form...
