Dungeon Defenders.. I've heard about that game. Never tried it though. Is it any good? and what is it exactly?

It's a really fun Tower Defense / RPG, where you walk around in 3rd person mode and set defenses up based on your hero class against in coming waves of monster. The best thing about it is that after every round you get to keep all the gear and items as well as money and experience that you pick up from killing enemies with your defenses and by just rushing in to kill them personally. All the equipment is also upgradeable and there are even pets you can buy or earn in challenge modes which are also upgradeable and fight by your side or heal you. Recently they introduced "gear stalls" which allow players to set their rare or powerful equipment on sale to the whole world to buy, sort of how some MMOs let you. The game is also constantly getting new DLCs with new content and most of these are actually free for the first few weeks after their release, which mean if you grab them when they come out you wont ever have to pay for them. There are also many holiday events in the game and other events that developers keep bombarding the players with. It's very fun in multiplayer especially with 4 people but the game is still fun even in single player mode. Apart from story mode there is also a legion of different challenge modes, even ones where the enemy monsters have to defend the "tower" from you.DarkSlimeLover wrote:Dungeon Defenders.. It's one of the best indie games out there in my opinion and I spent 152.7 hours playing it already... which is quite something considering my attention span for most game
Some people I know who play it and whom I played it with include NaGel, Narouge, Chaos and Kurosawa, you should consider getting it and playing with us, it's very fun

I might give it a shot if I can determine whether my rather crappy PC can run it.
