Actually the "KenkouVerse" would be called the Monster Girl Encyclopedia. MGU is Monster Girl Unlimited, a fan forum devoted to the MGE. They also provide translations and edits for the new profiles created by Kenkou.

why balam?

Ah new name? I think Hood fit you perfectly, it had that "mysterious" feeling to it, just like your posts do. So where did you get Balam from? There must be a story behind it, am I right? ^^

It was my old name from MGU. I'll change my name because I thought "New Forum, new start"
Someone told me that it would be a good idea to keep it, so that way, we could know who is who.
Tha name Balam, comes from one of my favourite shapeshifters races from the "Old World of Darkness" The Balam are a tribe of Jaguar shapeshifters or werejaguars. Originally, I was very tempted to use the name Khan, wich is the name of the tiger shapeshifters A.K.A. weretigers, but there are no tigers in the American continent. Later I remembered that Pumas or Mountain Lions were used to be called lions and jaguars were called tigers (according to my grand father and his great grandafather) So, I chose the american tiger's shapeshifting name wich is one of my favourites tribes.

Don't know, maybe I´ll return to be Hood, if it's okay with Tsar

You never heard about "Werewolf the Apocalypse" ? Well, there is a lot of "Folklore" in those books, specially about shapeshifters.
Rokea (weresharks), Mokole (weredinosaurs, well, they're actually werelizard but their battleforms are always that of a huge dino or dragon) and
Guralh (werebears) are among the coolest.

I was very tempted to do a encounter with the world of darkness shapeshifters and the momono chiks. I had this idea of Earth shapeshipters be more "Brutal" then their "Monster Girl World" counterparts. (I.E. an old werewolf from mamonoland would be at least 1.90 mts of puer muscle, while a werewolf from earth would be 3 meters of pure muscle and bad assery)
