Looks like a pretty well designed platformer. I have a hard time playing platformers these days though, because they are started to run together. Freedom Planet has my eye though, love the colorful designs.

I watched some of its gameplay, it is indeed platformer inspired by Souls series.

Never played Dark Souls, but I hate trapping games, so it would probably just make me mad haha. Memorizing traps has never been one of my favorite parts of video games. I can see why people like them though. I used to like them in the old days (Prince of Persia especially), but I had my fill of them. I think Megaman X5 scarred me for life. (SPIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
