Sega Became a Lets Player

You have to see this to believe this. It's something that came completely out of nowhere.

So... Nintendo goes closing let's players...
...and Sega turns into a let's player itself...

Gotta love the irony

Hmmm... It looks like Big Red N is unable to control its second parties.
And Kaijin you are the "Perentie" of this place, IMO.

Nintendo actually stopped that believe it or not. Infact, they invited some well known LPers to be in a video about luigi.

Of I course I believe it, a company that has been around for so long to know that if they were keeping that crusade rolling it would eventually backfire on them (more than it already did).
After all is not the first time that Big Red N shut fan material/projects nor it will be the last...

Anyway...back to topic...
While it's nice Sega being active once again (even if it's on Youtube...), I wish that if they had the time to do so they instead chose to use it on chores like expanding the Nights saga or resurrecting franchises such as Ristar or Alex Kidd...
And Kaijin you are the "Perentie" of this place, IMO.

Honestly, I would like to see a new Shenmue Game or at least a port of it on a modern console.

That series is highly under-rated, but extremely fun.

Personally I can't sit through entire "Let's Plays" myself, I prefer to complete the game for myself instead of spoiling things. I admit watching at least 3-5 minutes of gameplay will help me determine if a game is worth my cash though.

As for SEGA doing this? Well, I agree with Kaijin that think they should probably focus more on actual game making. However, I also think that the (short, not full) "Let's Plays" could give SEGA fans some insight on how their staff operates, provide some game development info, and also help establish a more intimate relationship with SEGA in general. Doing this could possibly help the PR and sales (which is actually quite effective for Riot Game's League of Legends with their "Champion Spotlights") in the long run. So here's hoping for that.
