Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
Thanks I'm quite proud of them myself. ^^
I have an idea for a Rock type, but I'm not sure if go fossil with it or make it a Geodude-like equivalent (three stage defensive wall) the only thing I have thought out is its final form: Armarodon (Armor + Iron + Glyptodon) which is meant to be Rock/Steel.
It's based on this thing
Also... A few tweaks for already existing pokémon.
Kangby (Kangaskhan baby form)-> Kangaskhan (If female)
Kangby-> Trickeroo (if male) [Trickster + Kangaroo, it's Normal/Fighting and trades Kangaskhan' bulk for tons of speed. Meant to be a physical sweeper]
----
Combee-> Vespique(e)n (if female)
Combee-> Applite (if male and defense higher than attack) [Apis + Hoplite, it's Bug/Steel and meant to be tank-ish]
Combee-> Hornaldier (if male and attack higher than defense) [Hornet + Halbardier, it's Bug/Fighting and meant to be a sort of physical glass cannon]
----
Torkoal-> Tormine (level up) [Fire/Steel, physical wall)
Torkoal-> Torreef (Water Stone) [Fire/Water, special wall]
----
Qulifish-> Ponzay (level up) [Ponzoña (another way in Spanish for saying poison) + Moray, Water/Poison]
----
Ilumise-> Titanymph (level up) [Titania + Nymph, Bug/Fairy]
Volbeat-> Oberoth (level up) [Oberon + Moth. Bug/Electric]
And that's pretty much it... I guess.

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
New leaks include:
Wally
Mega Gallade
Mega Camarupt
Mega Sharpedo
There's other stuff, including Primal Kyorge/Groudon's abilities and others, too lazy to remember it now.
EDIT: Mega Sharpedo has Strong Jaw. I like it, but I am cautious, as it doesn't learn other fang moves besides Bite/Crunch is this generation currently, so I'll have to wait and see.

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
The Numel line is my favorite Hoenn fire type (and the one I use most in R/S/E) so is good news to me... Or..Are they...¬¬Mega Camarupt
And Mega Gallade was quite to be expected (not only because it would be unfair for it to not have while Gardevoir does, but also because while Wally's Ralts is always meant to be male).
As for Mega Sharpedo well... time will tell, as for we have yet to see if its movepool gets a revamp or not.
Scans:
Mega Camerupt (As much as I welcome the concept I hate its design with a passion... It's the silliest Mega's design since Manectric... And that "magma" mark on its forehead? Come on... Sharpedo is pretty much Aqua's mascot and it doesn't have any moronic brand)
Mega Sharpedo (Its design reminds me pretty much a sawfish which is nice... However I was actually expectng to see a... fully developed shark tail if it ever get a mega...)
Mega Gallade (Pretty badass design, also... Casshern).
.P.S.: If I ever EV train a male Ralts I'm totally naming him Casshern.

Mega Sharpedo is, in my opinion (and I can be quoted on it) A GODDAMN FLYING MISSILE CHAINSAW SHARK!

Isn't that what Garchomp pretty much is? Also, the new mega pokemon look pretty nice. I'm still waiting on Mega Dragonite. And, perhaps a Mega Milotic? That would get me hype.Drazzimyr wrote:Mega Sharpedo is, in my opinion (and I can be quoted on it) A GODDAMN FLYING MISSILE CHAINSAW SHARK!
There is nothing more beautiful than a warrior with no distractions. One could say he is the closest thing to God

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
Confirmed Primal Kyogre's special move: Origin Wave.
Also Mega Gallade retains its Psychic/Fighting typing (well duh...) and its ability will be Inner Focus.
And... Apparently Rayquazza will be related to Mega Evolution somehow...
Rayquazza scan
.P.S.: The only thing I have clear about this remake is that I'll be training a Torkoal... (as much as I love Numel's line, I despise its mega form's moronicly chosen design that I'd rather ignore that line...despite how great its dual typing is).

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
What's stopping you from not using the Numel line's Mega form and just using the base form? Why not use a different Mega form if you plan to use a Mega? Just because a Pokemon has a Mega form doesn't mean you have to use it. It's a gameplay choice. As far as Mega Gallade goes the Ability isn't one it has normally so it's a good thing.Kaijin wrote:Confirmed Primal Kyogre's special move: Origin Wave.

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
Because:
A) I never trained a Torkoal seriously (yeah... shame on me), and I want to give the poor critter the chance to shine (the fact that Gamefreak sent it to ostracism doesn't mean I have to do the same).
B) In the original games Camerupt could pretty much handle its own (Hoenn didn't have that impressive repertoire of fire types...), in the remakes? Probably it will lose its spotlight without the stat boosts of a Mega (the Hoenndex will get a revamp most likely like it happen to Johto and Unova).
C) It would be... type redundancy (too many ground types is a no-no), since at the very least Swampert will make it to my team (not its mega though... that ability is pointless)
D) Why not? What law in the universe prevents me from training a Torkoal, a Vulpix or a Torchic instead of a Numel (for the 40th time)?
Seriously... Cut me some slack here will ya? If you want to scold me at the very least do it for something worthy and not for a personal displeasure over a bunch of polygons mashed together...^^U
.P.S.: FYI I only tend to use a Megapoké per team: Mawile and Scizor on my X teams, and here I'm tempted to try Mega Altaria or depending of its stats Gallade (seriously, that Casshern wannabe looks way too cool).

I'm honestly stuck on which starter(s) to choose for ORAS. Mudkip is my favorite, but Swift Swim isn't fantastic and Lightening Rod (for Mega Sceptile) I just don't know how to utilize. Blazing Chicken might be my choice in the end.

I'm not scolding you for anything. It's just I've found that some people tend not to use a line of Pokemon if they dislike the Mega. Another thing I keep hearing is people saying that the Primal Pokemon's new Abilities will be permanent weather but I never hear anything different. I personally think the new weather types will be stronger versions of sun and rain boost wise. Like Strong Sun raising Fire type move's power by 75% over 50%.Kaijin wrote: Seriously... If you say so...

The problem with Lightning Rod Mega Sceptile is despite that the Treecko evolutionary line is special oriented, most of its damaging grass types moves are physical oriented (that posed no problem on Gen III since there was no physical/special split yet and all grass types moves were regarded as special moves), but unless it doesn't get a movepool revamp for this game... Lightning Rod will be quite a waste (Motor Drive would have worked better).
.P.S.: It's just me... or did I already mentioned that? It kinda feels like déja vu...

Featuring... Mega Nacho, for some cheesey magma like sillyness
-Featuring Rayquazza's "spectalur and fizzling debut"... Wow... Nintendo America, you guys only have a tiny little delay there... what are eleven years for a dragon after all...
-Primal abilities are pretty much broken (nullify fire and water type attacks... wow)

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
Just a little reminder here.
If there's anyone who still hasn't achieved the Pokebank's Celebi event, better hurry, since they will only have one week to get it. The Celebi will officially finish on September 30th (I wonder if there will be a pokébank related event when ORAS come out...).

Pokéween is comin'
A new X/Y mistery gift event has been announced:
A Super Sized Pumpkaboo with Trick-or-Treat/Halloween, Scary Face and with a rocky helmet as held item will be available from today till October 31st in both America AND Europe (hard to believe that they remembered about us).
The mistery gift Poké can also get its hidden ability (insomnia), which was unattainable for super sized Pumpkaboos/Gourgeists.
I got mine ^^ It doesn't have Insomnia sadly but Pickup is quite the great ability and it has a physical oriented natured so it's quite the catch here.

Re: [3DS/Wii/WiiU] Pokemon
Well... doesn't surprise me, both Groudon and Kyogre got a massive boost and Mewtwo got two mega forms in Kalos' arc. So this one was pretty much a given...
And according to Serebi "Dragon Ascent" seems to the a flying type move (despite its name) and the most powerful move of its type to boot. However if it's pure flying or a move a la "flying press" (a Dragon/Flying move would be handy to have around) is not confirmed.

I'm psyched for Delta Force. Strong Winds block other weather effects and protect Flying-Type Pokemon.
