Oh boy, oh boy oh boy that was a trainwreck of a presentation. Absolutely drove it right into the ground.

GPU is mid-tier from a PC in 2008
Cost is massivly expensive (probably)
Looks bad
No games that aren't rehashed (aside from the one at the start that was nearly lauded by the presenters)
"We'll be tracking everywhere you go."
"DIABLO 3 on PS4 (oh god my sides)."
Accents are all manners of terrible (Japanese to English, French to English)
No Gaben (instant 0/10)
Didn't even show the console
Sleeping Dogs now looks like AC5 in the future (animation is the same, and Press X to Hack level of insulting intelligence)
Bungie appeared to nearly deliver the Halo bomb, but they delivered Destiny instead (aka no we're really not Planetside 2, honest)

I don't want to toot the PC gaming master race horn
Spoiler: show
just kidding, I'm tooting that thing like it's the last sound I'll hear
but honestly, I wasn't expecting anything and I was still disappointed.

The price will most likely kill it for the living room guys.
Although the style looks good.
I couldn't tell for sure but it looks like it still upscales 720p to 1080p and not being true output of 1080p, "MAYBE" don't quote me on it.
The new security features, erm. Of course we know that no good can come from that.
It is Sony, even though it isn't Valve (and I will not be biased to valve for the zealots) Sony still has a rather legendary history in terms of purpose built hardware. That being said here is to hoping that the PS4 will be "purpose built" like the PS3 in order to have the voodoo magic we had last time with it's real world performance overstepping the specs on paper.

Also heres to hoping that the PS4 will be region free. I want to be able to play my PS3 exclusive JP imports on the PS4.

MMOs? Lol, I don't quite see it being that successful. The one reoccuring issue that the consoles have when it comes to large games like MMOs on the PC. Is that the manufacturers just don't put enough damn ram into their machines. That is what is holding them back, but granted. There is a reason for everything.

All in all, the only thing that matters at the end of the day is the price. If it costs more and offers less than a $500 rig. And if they implement the game to account lock technology that steam has. It will be a no go.

Going back to the game to account thing. The bit where PS4 games may release with activation codes (all of them) that will tie the game to your account, eargo no more used game sales. That is what I am worried about, and that is what I hope gets trashed when they begin shipping.

I'm not liking the new controller design at all. I really don't like the whole touchpad gimmick people are getting into lately. >_<

Here's a funny pic about the future of PS controllers.

The first pic must have been shopped, because there's no way Sony would change the position of the left Analog stick with the DPad.

As for the second pic, lol.
