Sometimes, you finds the best games in the world when you're not looking for them. And just that happent to me today.

I was wandering the net as usual, and due to some missclicking of my crappy mouse, I ended up in some kind of chatroom. But, before I hit the Back button of my navigator, someone posted the following line:

``Have you guys grabbed your free copy of Torchlight at GOG? It's just for today.ยดยด

GOG has been a reliable source of many classic masterpieces for me(Arcanum, Baldur's Gate, Fallout 1, etc), and whenever they give out something for free I always grab it. So, I grabbed it and let it DL and I left for my classes. I installed it as soon as I got back, and though of playing to see what it was like and..... boy.....

THIS IS A BLOODY DIABLO EXPY!! AND A EFFING GOOD ONE!

Three different classes.... Exploring dungeons..... beating hordes of zerg-rushing monsters..... picking up books for skills....... Unique weapons with names in golden letters...... BREAKABLE BARRELS THAT MIGHT EXPLODE OR HAVE SKELETONS INSIDE....... SCROLLS OF IDENTIFY!!!...... SOCKETED WEAPONS AND ARMOR!!!!.......... TRANSMUTATION!!!!!...... BOSSES WITH WEIRD YET COOL-SOUNDING NAMES!!!!!!......AND NO ONE TELLING ME TO STAY A WHILE AND LISTEN!!!!!!!

HNNNNNNNNNNNGGG!!!!!!!!

Damn it, Blizzard! Why don't you learn from this game and redo that 12-years-not-worth-the-wait game!?

Seriously, you guys gotta try this game!! You wont regret it....

Talk about luck, right there. Finding a good game for free, just from a missclick. :D Glad you're having fun with the game. :)

Maybe I should miss-click more often, then see where the page takes me, before exiting out right away. :haha:

I liked Diablo 1-2 better. TL2 is decent, but the skill learning system became tedious for me. It's still a good game and better than Diablo 3 in my opinion though. D3 didn't have the Blizz magic that I'm used too from the 90s and early 2000s. Indie games seem to be getting more and more attention these days. I see a lot of big publishers failing, getting hard criticism, and going under completely more frequently this year.

On topic I haven't got the free TL, TL2 is most likely better since it's multiplayer. :)
