It's Fox News. They have no problems demonizing all kinds of people in order to push an agenda they have instead of being unbiased in their reports.

This is my mentality about ALL news in general. Fox News does it, CNN does it, name a news place, they have an agenda. It's no longer *reporting what happened and let the viewers decide for themselves*, it's *we are going to shove what we feel caused this, whatever it is, down your throats, heck with what's true*
Maybe that's why I get all my news through ways other than news sources, because I'm so tired of all the bull from them.

Blaming video games for tragedies worked out so well for Jack Thompson, I'm sure it won't bite Fox News in the ass */sarcasm*

*Sigh* Faux News being Faux News as usual.... Seriously, I wonder if there's still people right on their heads that believes the stuff they say. And by ``right on their heads´´ I mean that they're not part of the ``Games are a Tool of the Devil´´ cult, because for these zealots, their words are like divine mandates.

It makes me wonder, why are all news channels hell-bent on making their watchers stop believing them? Because whatever these agenda of theirs say, I doubt they'll be able to make it come true if ppl see them as compulsive liars.....

If memory serves. These were the things I think comprises of Fox News:
*Spoiled for obvious reasons and for future reference, should you comment harshly about this channel in this thread, do so only in spoilers and with reasonable constructive criticism. Any politically conflicted arguments or fighting between any members/staff will lead to the lock-down of this thread. This' your only warning.*
They are biased, if anything a very hard right-winged political group. They are probably government sponsored so as to keep the mass public in check. I won't accuse brainwashing but rather misleading viewpoints.
As for the article itself, and as Flare already outlined with the wiki article, there's more important matters for the channel itself to fix rather than continue its baseless allegations. And for demonizing video games? Hah! There's too little evidence to correlate bad influence in the video games. And if it was indeed from it, the parents should be punished for allowing a minor to play games they shouldn't access until they hit the age of reason. And here I was thinking kids sometimes has TOO much access to violent video games, but it doesn't always lead to violent outcomes all the time either. Too grey of an area since it's on a case-by-case basis to diagnose the problem.

Essentially, they want to have games registered instead of guns, have a surgeon's warning that it's worse than a ciggarette or drugs, have it so consoles auto turn off after a have hour and will only turn on again after HOURS(Or whenever the government decides).
Anyway, this reminds me of a pattern. It used to be like this with music, at one point, comic books/graphic novels, movies, TV, and even Books. Anyone remember the term book burning and book banning?
