Respect for them continuing the work of Monty, but I just wonder how different it's going to be now.

But yeah, the game. I think that's the best direction they could've taken RWBY. A solid enough experience will bring in more fans of the show, but it has to be solid.

Yeah, they broke the ''Fastest Greenlit TItle'' record on Steam. And based on what I saw about it on many sites around the net, pretty much all the fandom reacted in a ''Just shaddap and take my wallet!!'' way.

Welp, it's out folks!^^ The early-access version is available now for about €15,00. (convert to your own currency at your leisure)
I had a quick run with it, and i must say it's pretty damn fun. So far it runs pretty smoothly, the environments and characters look very nice, and there's a fair amount of upgrading, leveling, etc.

As for my favourite character, i'm kinda torn between Yang and Blake. Yang has a lot of good, heavy punches and some neat specials, whereas Blake just has the most gangsta shooting ability.

So yeah, it definitely looks promising.^^

Because if we get to play as Nora, Pyhhra and the other two whose names allude me, Grenade Launcher Hammer.

Juane and Rin, you mean? And it makes sense to just stick with the main 4 for now, when major changes can be done without having to worry about rebalancing a ton of characters.
