The Monster Multiverse

Monster Hunter Generations will be coming out on July 15th with a smexy, limited edition, blue new 3DS XL in America and a red one in Japan and Europe. I've requested the weekend of the release date off from work and have been saving for the new DS and the game. I am so ready to try these new hunter arts. I thought MH4 revitalized the series with the new verticality in levels and combat, but that's just peanuts compared to these new badass special moves.
Like making a giant laser saber with a charge blade. Or launching your kinsect from your insect glaive at incredible speed to get all of your buffs in one hit. These new hunter arts are going to take Monster Hunter to a whole new place. God knows what 5 is going to have in store for us.

We got Pokemon S & M, Monster Hunter Generations, that new Gods Eater game, we've already had Dark Souls 3, we'll have Persona 5... fuck, this is lookin' to be a great year for gaming!

Which monster do you hate the most?

Mine is Diablos/Monoblos. I just seem to have a rougher time with them than most other beasties. And from what I can see, Diablos is getting a deviant form in MH Double Cross.

Overall? Azure Rathalos, mostly because it made me rage quit back in MH4U. Without the rage factor though? Khezu, its ugly, boring to fight, pretty easy unless you get para-comboed AND it has no BGM while fighting it.

I just got the first credit roll for MHGen. I wasn't mentally prepared for the little music number after beating Glavenus.

It was cute and all, but seriously, really threw me off with that.
