UGH...this is beyond weird. I've played Nobunaga's Ambition and some of the sequels, and just can NOT see them paired with pokemon, my only guess is *taken two great series, put them together, garunteed hit right?!* (answer: probably not, they've tried doing that before and the spinoff was a bomb)

Well, at the very least it will be interesting to see how it plays out; I at the very least like the female Heroine's outfit.

Whether it turns out to play out like a strategy-based RPG a la Disgaea, or stray more closely to the tried-and-true Pokemon formula, or skew more towards Nobunaga's Ambition's more wide-spread gameplay, it will still be (as said already) interesting to see how they handle it.

Personally I hope this bombs. I really do. This kind of crossover just doesn't seem right.

Lots of things in the past have 'not seemed right', only for them to turn out to be pretty darned good once it got off the ground.

Case in point, 'Disney's Folly' -- it looked to many like a feature-length animated film would be the end of Walt Disney's company, earning it that nickname . . . but now we know that Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was a fantastic success, the most successful film of the year it was released (1938).

So for the sake of seeing if they turn out something good, let's not jump to such hasty conclusions, m'kay?

Interesting..this game could help me get caught up on all the new Pokemon. I think it's an All or Nothing gamble with this game though.

Seems interesting from what I seen trailer wise but I'll hold judgment for now. Kinda more interested in maybe the new Pokemon sequel that hasn't been done since the gamecube pokemon game. Black and White 2.

I dunno, I kinda like it, I mean there have been references to feudal japan in most pokemon games, and I kinda like the idea of pokemon in the feudal era. Hell they even have Date Masamune, i'm in. though to be honest I'd kinda like him to be with Zekrom

It plays like no other Pokemon game released before it plays.

It plays like a regular turn based RPG game, only you can actually move around with additional field effects, seriously, it's a strategy RPG game which pokemon is basically. I'm not one to worry about the gameplay, as a human being, I can adapt.

The style is called Turn Based Strategy. Each character has a single Pokemon rather than a full team.

This game seems to have the same look and feel as Digital Devil Story. Hopefully the battles aren't 1st person..

I may try it just to see Oichi and her Jigglybuff, they look cute. ^^

Just wondering if this has shown up yet or not - and if it's as much of a *what were you thinking?!* as people seems to think.
