If you are wondering why this thread is here, allow me to shed some light.
Hamachi can be used to do something pretty cool. It allows for a safe and secure conversation and emulate LAN between two computers from different networks. Better way to explain it, it simulates direct and within same room connection between computers.
That means that games what originally could only do multiplayer with IP specific stuff or "LAN MODE ONLY" games will work even with someone that's currently across the globe. There's some other nice features, but I think this would be pretty cool.(For you emulation nuts, that actually means a possible way to play GBA games over the net with someone.)
Here's a wiki for a full explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamachi_(software)
Feel free to discuss and suggest games that would be fun to try out by such means.
Hamachi For The EPIC Win
A wonder program with an interesting feature.

Re: Hamachi For The EPIC Win
Well, I heard negative things about the system of hamachi, that it was unstable and whatnot. But that was a long while ago. I have no clue what I could think to use it on ;though, it will be interesting to see what people come up with here.
Spoiler: show

From what I researched and stumbled apon, I've only heard good things about it. Only bad thing I heard that file sharing is not exactly user-friendly.
But I agree with you, definitely worth seeing what people think up for this.

Incidentally, this is also valid for games that people use for lan parties like the PC version of Halo1(and other games of it's genre), Neverwinter Nights, and Phantasmagoria of Flower View.

Re: Hamachi For The EPIC Win
My experance with it was fairly negative... group of us tried using it for Terraria and had a lot of issues. Especally since there was more of us then what was being allowed to play.
