Anyone ever heard of the Game Vindictus? it's an online game that's free to download and play by Nexon and Devcat. it's a really fun game so far and I'm having a blast. anyone else play the game as well?

I've heard of it, but never played it because the reviews said it was "stale". What's fun about it and how long have you been playing it? I tend to get bored quickly of free online games these days. >_< Good to know what to expect. One thing that didn't look fun was the fact that there is only 3 characters..I like at least 5 or 6. The game must not have much replay and versatility, or is there ways to customize the characters?

One of the many things fun about it is you can get to chose from one of 4 characters. Lann the dual swordsman, Evie the alchemy sorceress, Fiona the sword and shield, and Karock the giant. (Kai the archer will be available later) each character has their own unique style and there is a video about them in the character selection screen. the missions give you ability points which you can use to upgrade your characters skills, you can customize your characters but full customization requires cash. I haven't even played for a week but I can safely say that it's addicting.

One thing I like in fighting games is versatility and it seems strange grouping with 2 or more people that are the same class as me, especially when they are named characters. Do you find that happening a lot? I like a good brawler, but I also like deserve team-play with strategy.

well it is true that it happens sometimes, but there are also subclases to these characters, for example, the dual swordsman Lann can also use spears in battle, for Evie she can also use a scythe, I cant remember about fione but Karock can also use gauntlets as well as columns. also you can name the character as well.

Sounds interesting, so who are you playing right now? I may try it out with ya, but I'll be sure to play a character that you are not. ^^

Im the dual wielder, his name is Bataar you can create multiple characters, but Bataar is the one i'll be sticking to for now.. I play by the east server. oh one more thing once your character reaches level 40, you have a choice of choosing a transformation, the Paladin, or the Dark Knight.

My second attempt to get Feathers to play a game with me.
Anyone who know about Mabinogi or even those who do not know about Mabinogi, Vindictus (storywise) is where it all begins and basicly opens the door as well as fill in plot holes for Mabi.
Vindictus is a Free To Play Action MMORPG created by Nexon (a korean company), that throws you into the world of one of 5 characters (6 for korea, they get everything first of course) which are the "legends" of the world. Not much to say other than watch videos if you know nothing about it. Their UI follows the generic 3D MMO principle; though, as far as graphics go on normal settings the game will usually run off of 2 Gb of ram and would max out a dual core so it is an intermediate game in terms of demands from your computer.
As far as Nexon goes they have reached out to NA, EU, JP, and even China has their own server.
Usually I would post links and pictures but I can't do that on mobile so apologies.

As the big Mabi buff here. i have to attest, i do love Vindictus (or Mabinogi Heroes as its known in forign servers)
It's vastly different in game play, but i love the storyline and how it all leads up to the events of Mabinogi, and all the connections and little Easter eggs. (like Ferghus the blacksmith)
The character design is wonderful, and the graphics are amazing, especially for a free to play game.
The only thing i have to say though is, make sure you have a good computer for this game. its fast paced action, and the last thing you need is a laggy computer when a 10 foot tall knoll is swinging a 500 lb. hammer at you.

No kidding the lags so bad I've made it a point to always play it in the early mornings or really late nights when the players are fewest and the connection is fastest.

If the lag is bad I won't play that's for sure. =/

It's not lag, its frame rate drops. If your computer is substandard then you will overload your cpu (dual core or lower) when it is trying to render say a crowd of players in a town, thus you drop to about 13 fps until you move away. If you "lag" then you will always disconnect afterwards, a common misconception that criss crosses the line between gamers and technicians.
But my computer doesn't do that so...
If this becomes strike two, then I only have so much fight left in me for something as unimportant as a game, I simply thought it would be nice to finally meet elsewhere aside from the forums all of the damn time, get a fresh perspective with the people that I have now known for what, 2 years or more at this point.

I really did want to play PSO2 you know..but it's kind of difficult right now. >.< I still have it if you want to run a few dungeons though.
Hmm no lag here and fps is fine.
The intro of the game was really awesome. I don't think I ever almost cried watching a huge spider die..
My name is Noniphee on the West server.

My Evie, Silvanoshi
My Lann, Kirosis
My Kai, Evanrae
I'm usually on channel 122 when I want to be alone.
Also considering the fact that I can afford to stay up, which I planned on all week. I will most likely be on the computer doing SOMETHING all night.
