Loving this game so far, though I can see LoL players coming in droves day by day and bringing their toxic attitudes with them. Still, this game is great. I hope they bring a Harpy in there one day, or a Naga Siren! At least there is a really cool justice angel to play, called Tyrael (AWESOME).
From what I hear there aren't any items to further snowball the game out of control, like in LoL where if you buy a bloodthirster you're sed for the rest of the game if you're careful (Not endgame I mean getting it early mid)

Yep, if you are behind in levels you can make a major comeback with good strategy. I've won some rather dire looking games already because a team got cocky. It's just pure herocraft, and no fiddling with items and gold. It's really easy to pick up, but not simple by any means. Map objectives add a lot to strategy and teamplay.
Last update really screwed up the game. I'd hold off on buying it for now, the match making and balance just took a really bad turn IMO. Combined with the new toxic community it's almost as bad as LoL now.
Latest patch nerfed a lot of overpowered Heroes, yay! Seems they were spot on to what was broken. Also heard the match making is evening out (and noticed it myself) as well. They even updated the UI to make things less confusing (dailies were buried under your profile before).
Blizzard is REALLY on the ball these days, I'm lovin' it (not like McDonald's). They've come far since their downhill spiral in (in my opinion anyway) 2008-2012. They kicked out some of the original devs which were apparently too "old school" and focus more on making their games more fun than having them an "e-peen competition".
The newest Hero(es) is the Lost Vikings. They are literally 3 Heroes in one, pretty unique!

Just downloaded last week and have been playing it since. Right now I'm just focusing of saving gold and leveling my account, but my main champion is Anub'Arak.
Wow, I'm surprised it isn't Rehgar, heh. I quit Heroes of the Storm again. The community has been invaded with LoL trolls. In all my 800 beta games, I maybe had one troll a month. Now? Every single day. So yeah, I have more fun in RPG Maker and Moe Chronicle, until the LoLers get bored when they realize they can't "Carry". :/

Really? Damn, in most if not all of my games I have people that don't talk in the chat but are aware enough to actually help out in team fights.

Same here. The alerts certainly do help with that. Besides, do you have time to type in the chat while you're fighting those other guys?

Yeah, it didn't get really bad until I surpassed 40 though. Lower levels were pleasant. Course Observer is from Europe as well. It's not an assumption though, kind of wish I took screenshots because that's all I ever see people doing in the games is talking about LoL. It's bad on both ends too, LoL players insist Heroes of the Storm is a "skilless game" and if someone is bad at Heroes of the Storm they are an "LoL Loser". You'll probably see it eventually.. (again I don't know about Europe)
I never played after the closed beta. But as far as mobas/aos go, I am finally getting bored of smite. The classic birdseye view mobas were never my favorite, but i'll attempt to get into heroes legitimately. As far as the community, we'll see... It's the sole issue that caused me; and of course many, many others to quit LoL so long ago. I stuck with smite because it simply doesn't have that. Perhaps I will manage to avoid it in heroes as well.
