Archmages are the most powerful of magical Pokégirls, and the most versatile. Not for nothing are they called the Mistress of Magic. And they earn their title with every display of might.
As with all spellcaster-type Pokégirls, Archmages are human in appearance, running the gamut of human norms in terms of skin color, however their eye and hair color can be any conceivable color you can imagine. Because of their power, Archmages have runes covering a greater surface area of their bodies, runes from all four of their previous forms. And like their previous forms, the magical well of their bodies in centered in their chest, replacing their heart while making their body work as a normal heart would. Because that magical well of power is so much greater than their previous forms, their breasts are absurdly huge, at least thrice the size of their head. Breast reductions, as with their previous forms, will consistently fail, the magical energies stimulating growth of the breasts back to their absurd size.
Archmages tend to be very confident for the most part. They are fully aware of their power level, and can feel the raw power flowing through them. They can sense and see leylines of power around them, and sense the magical potential of any living or unliving item. Archmages are immune to all but the strongest fear effects, and can resist most emotion controlling spells and effects, this making them relatively hard to shake up emotionally. As it pertains to their absurdly ample breasts, reactions very. Many enjoy their ample endowments, preferring to wear shirts that show off their endowments. Others think them an annoyance that get in the way of their casting.
Archmages are the strongest spellcaster-type Pokégirls, capable of using all four of their previous forms styles of magic, as well as having no limitations on the schools of magic they can learn. If it's a magical spell, then they can use it, usually to tremendous effect. An effective Archmage will be raining down spell after spell on their opponent, overwhelming them with sheer force. Archmages can be used as support only, but this severely limits the Archmage, as there is very little they cannot do magically. They can cast spells from their hands, or make use of a magical staff to channel their powers through. The staff's design will vary from individual from individual, and must be carved by the Archmage themselves. Archmages are excellent when used at long range, however they are very poor fighters in close. Their overlarge breasts get in the way of any attempts to engage in hand-to-hand combat, and make quick, agile movements extremely awkward and clumsy. Their ample breasts also tend to be sensitive to the touch, making them vulnerable to attack as well. Investing in a strong sports bra is recommended heavily for Archmage Tamers.
As mentioned, the breasts of an Archmage are very sensitive to the touch. Which means that breast play during sex is an easy way to get them aroused. Boobjobs have been noted to be enjoyable from the breed due to the softness of their skin around the breasts, as well as their plush size. Archmages tend to prefer being on top, as their breasts can weigh down heavily on their lungs if they are laying down. Something else to note is that an easy way to win an Archmage's affection is to be willing to give backrubs to them, as their ample bosoms tend to cause them frequent back pain.
Archmages were the generals in Sukebe's magical armies during the Revenge War. While Witches and Sorceresses formed the main force of his magical armada, it was Archmages who posed the greatest threat, their powerful spells causing great devastation amongst human forces. During the Titan War, Archmages slew many of the more powerful breeds of Titan Monster that attacked human/Pokégirl forces, and a pair of famous Archmages who modeled themselves after old villains from fiction were notable for having enough power when working together to drive away the Titan, Gaia. (They didn't actually hurt her, but they frustrated the Titan enough to make her not want to stay in the area.) Afterwards, Archmages went into varying fields, any place they could make their talents useful.
Several studies have been conducted, and there are no known cases of a Threshold result ending in an Archmage. It is assumed, then, that it is impossible for someone to Threshold directly to an Archmage. Some theorize that because of the tremendous well of magical power that replaces an Archmage's heart, that most die in a magical explosion due to that well becoming unstable during the transformation, and that is why there are no recorded cases. This has yet to be proven, however, and is just a theory.

Imagine you will the sword of a Pokégirl. You defeat the Pokégirl, and the sword is no longer a threat. However, in many cases you would be wrong, as the sword itself would turn into a Pokégirl and attack you. Such is the nature of the Melee.
Melees can be any melee weapon. A sword, a dagger, a mace, a morning star, a hammer, even a shield. Their weapon design varies from individual to individual (for example, one Melee's sword form wouldn't be the same as another Melee's sword form). Their human form tends to be somewhat short, usually not going over five feet in height (unless the weapon they turn into is very large), with an artificial, almost doll-like appearance to their bodies and hair that floats under its own power. Their skin, eye, and hair color can be any color imaginable, and in some recorded cases, any color that isn't imaginable. In their humanoid form, they have loose clothing that's loosely designed after their weapon form. Like a robot girl's armor, it is part of their body but completely removable, disappearing when they change to weapon form.
Melees are very trusting Pokégirls. Because of the nature of their abilities, they have to be. They are very devoted to their Tamer and Harem sisters (whom they refer to as their wielders), and worry constantly about doing right by their 'wielders.' Melees are very helpful and affectionate, as well as being very protective of their Tamer. They enjoy meeting people because they might be a new 'wielder.' If they are betrayed in any way, especially via being abandoned by their Tamer, they become short-tempered and easily depressed. It's best in this case for them to find a new 'wielder' quickly, so as to improve their disposition back to its normal levels of cheerfulness.
Melees, as their name would suggest, work best in close range combat. They tend to use a dance-like fighting style in their human form, one based off of the type of weapon they can turn into. They can also turn into their weapon form and fight on their own. Their greatest strength, however, comes from when they are wielded by someone while in weapon form. They can channel their wielder's power through them, and just holding a Melee while in weapon form can increase the overall physical and mental stats of the wielder. If wielded by a Pokégirl, they can gain the elemental affinity of that Pokégirl and generate that element around themselves. If their wielder is skilled enough, they can fire blasts of that elemental energy from the Melee's weapon form. Melees generally have no ranged options outside of this rare circumstance. They can act in their wielder's defense, seizing brief control of their arm to move to defend against an incoming blow. In addition, they cannot be broken in weapon form, even if what they turn into is a wooden staff.
Melees are affectionate, compliant lovers. There's very little that they won't do in a Taming session, beyond anything that might hurt their Tamer. They are very conscious of the fact that they are weapons and will make every effort not to hurt those they care about. They're very submissive lovers, and love being on bottom, being taken by their Tamer. They especially like it if their Tamer is much larger than them physically and takes advantage of that fact, dominating them. Most tend to love anal sex as well, as well as rough sex of any kind.
It should be noted that Melees are EXTREMELY easy to feed. As they feed off of violent thoughts and urges, all a Tamer needs to do is have a violent fantasy a few times a day, allowing the Melee to absorb the mental energy from those thoughts and they will be fed. In addition, their aforementioned love of rough sex is because they can feed off of the violent urges the Tamer is having during said sex.
Melees appeared frequently amongst Sukebe's very near human breeds of Pokégirl during the Revenge War, and were a popular choice for Ingenue to use alongside their ranged weaponry. Many human opponents were taken off guard when the weapon their supposedly disarmed opponent had been using would suddenly come to life and continue fighting them on their own. During the Titan War, they were of limited effectiveness due to the sheer size of some Titan Monsters, but were used in several prominent battles, making decisive kills. In San Francisco, a morning star Melee is hailed as a local heroic legend for fending off a pack of Dynacats attempting to enter a schoolhouse where several human children were hiding. She fought them all solo and died from her injuries, however she managed to slay all of the Dynacats and save the school. Melees have been viewed with fondness in California, specifically the San Francisco area, ever since.
Thresholding into a Melee is rather blatantly obvious. Because when the Threshold subject first starts to change, they will first start to change into their weapon form. Once completely changed it will take five days before they gain enough mental strength to change back to a humanoid form, four days before they can move their body on their own again. The transformation, thankfully, is not painful, however it is extremely disconcerting. It's best to talk to the Melee during this entire time. Melees speak with an astral, soul-to-soul 'voice' in weapon form, so telepaths or telepathy-granting devices are not necessary.
