The Monster Girl Databook (MGDB)

This is my first profile for the MGE Dash settings, which was created by Rezeed. It's both an experiment and an attempt to bring more attention to the amazing world of the MGE Dash. I'm very much winging it here (and I'm an average level writer at best >.>), because I'm not very familiar with the settings first hand, but I hope it can at least provide some entertainment. The profile layout is a custom layout created by me in Photoshop CS4, it is meant to represent the futuristic tech settings which are present in the MGE Dash. It is still a little unrefined and there is some more visually appealing ideas I have for it, but that will be only done in the future if this idea goes anywhere..
Major differences for the MGED (MGE DASH) vs the original MGE:
- Corruption, incubification, and monsterization no longer exist
- The Order and the Demon Lord, and all Gods no longer exist. The world now belongs solely to humans and monster girls.
- Monster girls can still capture men, but will no longer rape them. Instead they will use their charm, beauty, and knowledge to seduce men (normally in a spotter or engineer's case since) or (in a pirate's case) alternate ways to convince men to willfully mate with them if they don't agree to it at first.
- Monster girls and humans no longer are at "war" with each other and co exist peacefully within their own factions.
There are two major factions within the MGED World:
- The Diggers is a faction that is crime free and none if its members have any criminal records at all. Their goal is to become great adventurers or archeologists. Diggers are always human (unconfirmed) and subordinates, companions, and comrades are always monster girls (unconfirmed).
- Pirates are a faction that survives solely on thievery, kidnapping, and looting. They will take any opportunity to better themselves and their crew, whether it's legal or not.
I have self named the future MGE custom canon book as "The Monster Girl Databook" (obviously inspired by the design of the iPad), to demonstrate that electronics are used as the current method of storing information, as opposed to the old book look from the MGE. For those not educated in the MGE Dash, it is a world set in a post apocalyptic setting, way in the future past the current MGE. It is cross linked with the world of Megaman Legends where the world is split into groups called Diggers and Pirates. Monster girls can serve as wives, workers, and companions. For additional information, please check out the
MGE Dash Settings topic!
I now present my first attempt at a profile for the MGDB,
The Sparrow! (yes, it HAD to be a harpy!
)
The Sparrow (Spotter).png
I am open to suggestions, comments, or feedback. I will be more than happy to fix grammatical errors or typos if you happen to find them. Please go easy on me though, I'm a beginner in this. ^^; If anyone has ideas for their own MGE Dash profile, feel free to discuss them in here. I have a lot more ideas in store for the MGE Dash, the MGDB is only the beginning!
Thank you for your time reading, have a pleasant day.
(This topic will be updated and organized if newer entries are submitted)

Nice work on the Databook entry.
There are two things I have to comment on however. The harpy dance is a sort of ceremonial dance(It's a combination of fan and belly dancing so you are accurate enough with your description) that is often used in festivals and holidays. The other thing is there is a special cape that is a famous spot for love confessions and unveiling their flying machines to their potential special person. However that cap is pretty much used for engineers so it doesn't have anything to do with the sparrow. Just thought I'd make note on that.(It's on the Aeronautic Archipelago's details)
Anyway, you wrote a good profile and I really am interested in seeing your ideas for MGE DASH.

Oh yes, I wanted to incorporate the harpy dance somehow so I figured I'd dualize it as a courtship dance along with the already existing known use as a festival dance, perhaps it would have certain variations in a 1on1 situation? ^^ I made it as a personal dance to make it more endearing for the Digger. Oh yes, I did forget about the cape though, I will be sure to reference it when I make an engineer entry. ^^ Thanks for the info Rez.

Think nothing of it my friend.
If you ever want any info or just have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. I'll try my best to not make a text wall of an answer with response.(Been making the details detailed to try to make the info as clear as possible while leaving as little confusion as I can.)

Allow me to clear some things you were uncertain of within the settings:
1. Diggers Are usually humans, but it doesn't mean you can't find female diggers.
2. It's pretty common to see monsters as a spotter or engineer, but it's not uncommon to see humans take an occupation as well.
3. Spotters and Engineers are a popular occupation to monster girls because it gives them a really good chance and many opportunities to build a deep relationship faster than anything else. (The relationship with the diggers and their crew is legendary to hold strong bonds. Either platonic or highly romantic)
4. Monster Girls are capable of giving birth to humans of any gender, but it's a 50% chance.
*5. Under normal circumstances, monsterization is truly impossible. However, there's a special method to do it. However, even the only known method of doing it has a extremely low chance of suceeding with Monsterization. (Human Female Monsterization is based on total nature of the woman or based on their heritage. Whatever holds a stronger tie to what fits them. The monsterization really won't change the woman much aside from appearance.)
*6. Robots, Androids, and reaverbots, are completely capable of being monsterize into kind of reverse cyborg type Monster Girl.
*7. On the Off chance monsterization occurs within the only known method, it is possible to reverse transformation and it's more than likely to work.
*Please Refer to the elemental Pacts section of the settings for full details.

Since these races are canon to MGE DASH, I thought I'd place them here. For anyone reading this, this thread is not only for races and evolved MGs me and Feathers thought up of, it's also a place for races and evolved MGs that are accepted into the canon of this universe.
If you have some suggestions(to improve the universe), concepts(for islands, MGs, and stuff about the universe), and ideas for MG you want to pitch in for MGE DASH, try my Prototype of the Databook which can be found here. I will greatfully read it and actually fully take it into consideration:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1682
For now, here are some ones I came up with.
Marid: Like many genies in this setting, these are former succubi that lost various features and lost certain types of magic. No one knows exactly why they are what they are now, but None of the genies have any memories of ever being succubi These water genies hold two distinct forms. One is a mermaid like form and a human like form. Their mermaid form came from an evolution of sorts of life within, around, and by the sea. With the magic they hold, they are capable of going around on land in their human form. Marids are generally calm and reserved like the ocean and can adapt to most situations quite well. Their homes and what they are bound to are special conch shells with an otherworldly beautiful design. Putting your head close to it and putting your breath within range will bring out a Marid. When bringing out a Marid from a their conch medium, keep these things in mind. Gene types have to grant 3 wishes to those who let them out. After that they go back to the shell unless they are married. They are hopeless and somewhat desperate romantics(Much like other types of Genies in this setting). They feel any man that comes to find their shell and accidentally bring them out is their destiny, the man they were meant to be with. Because of that, they will do their best to influence the man's wishes to be romantic by nature and help get him to fall for him during the time she's out. If they feel this guy IS the one, they will make promises to give the man more wishes in exchange for doing special favors for them.(The most common and mild requests are either a simple kiss, a hug, or a really romantic date.) The last thing is that you need to be really careful what you wish for and think carefully about your wishes. As mentioned, they have really strong habits to try to influence wishes. Because of their wisdom, and abilities, they are pretty well rounded and make decent Engineers and Spotters. The last notable trait about them is they
you can make water type pacts with them.
Kruna Beta: In short, they are a
Monsterized form
Karumuna Bash. They are a type of reverse cyborg MG with werewolf features. They are highly excitable type that at first thinks like their former Reaverbot state. As time passes, they start to hold more emotion and develop a distinct personality. When they meet a guy they really like, they will back up a bit and charge at the person then glomp them down to the floor. As they get to spend time with the man they like, they get increasingly affectionate since they don't know how to handle their newly founded emotions and have trouble with self control at times. They more affectionate they get, the more protective and clingy they are with that person because they don't want to lose their newly found happiness at any cost. If allowed or left unchecked, that level of zeal can get to really dangerous levels so proceed in a relationship with them with caution. Because of their unique features, they are quite possible the best spotters to have around. It's pretty safe to say, you can guarantee safe digs with them. That's partly why they are common in the digger's guild, they are usually asked to be practice spotters for new diggers.
Evathón'Dalá: A short description of them is summed up as a cross between a lizardman and Yukionna. This is a type of lizardman that evolved throughout the ages to survive in freezing climates. Within their blood line shares both a regular Lizardman and the Yukionna. Because of that, they traits and mentality is kinda blended in. The Evathón'Dalá while they can live and survive in the cold, they always seem to be in need of the warmth of humans. These MGs really do like a good challenge and also like to be cuddled in the warmth of the person they want to be around. Since they are more commonplace in the Noir Continent, they also like seeking diggers to be with. However they have two personal rules they follow to heart in regards to becoming a member of a digging crew. One of them is that they give the digger a special test to test their strength. This test is like a scavenger hunt, but they hide the things that digger needs to get in areas where there are a lot of reaverbots or within subgates. This test requires they only use the buster gun and no sub weapons. If you succeed, they will accept being recruited as a member of the digging crew, but they will go out of the way to try to get you to marry them. The other personal rule is that they are a strong follower of the trap-door wedding law of the Noir Continent.
(Read details of the noir region or the glossary within the main MGE DASH thread for an idea what that means.) They are decent spotters, but competent yet hard working engineers that try to be the best in their field. That and you can make ice type pacts with them.
New Entry: Oil Slime

Just a random idea I had today for a new MGED profile. I haven't 999% proofread it and it's error ridden a bit too (my apologies) I already found some things I need to fix (if you spot errors point them out plz?) and obviously have not redone a profile template yet.
Huge image, so you may want to open it up in another tab.
MGED Oil Slime Profile.png
Raw text for those who don't like the huge image (which was mainly to show how I envisioned her).
Oil Slime
Race: Nonpolar Chemical
Occupation: Invigorator
Personality Type: The Supporter
Skills: Conjure fuel, conjure energy drink, shapeshifting
The Oil Slime is believed to have formed from the decomposed remains of monster girls some thousands of years after the Apocalypse. They are born with a nature that is similar to the practical uses of fuel, meaning, they are able to give life and power to machines and even living beings. All Oil Slimes are constantly full of energy- they rarely sleep, rest, and even sit down. They love playing games and they love to bring life into "dead" things. Unlike dinosaur fossil fuels from ages past, the Oil Slime's chemical makeup is not toxic to humans. This makes them highly sought for as partners by the Diggers, since they are always so desperately in need of fuel. All Oil Slimes have the ability to conjure a type of fuel that can either be drank by humans (as a sort of high powered caffeine) or used in human and monster build machines to power them. She is also able to take on the form of any human woman that she has seen in the past.
In order for an Oil Slime to reach her full power, she must be "chemically bonded" with a partner. If she offers a portion of her conjured "Special Oil" to a human and they drink it, that person will become her "Chemical Bondmate". Contrary to popular belief, the fuel is not a part of her body, but rather a part of her physically manifested desire to be Bondmated with someone. A small silvery Oil Core will form on the outside of her Bondmate's left hand, which signifies their bonding. The Oil Slime may only have one Bondmate at one point in time. Her Bondmate will be permanently (as long as they are bonded) invigorated with great speed, energy, and strength, almost similar to that of monsters themselves. Eating and drinking is no longer necessary when one has an Oil Slime as a Chemical Bondmate, though it may still be done for pleasurable purposes. It should also be noted that if a person tries to force her to conjure fuel for them against her will and they drink it, they will become very ill until they release her.
If her bondmate is injured or dismembered, she will restore them back their original body (provided her core in their hand was undamaged). However, this takes a great toll on the Oil Slime, and if she restores her Bondmate too many times, she may dissipate into the air. One should always be protective of their Oil Slime partners as much as themselves, because Oil Slimes will always think of their Bondmates before themselves. On the other hand, if her Bondmate rips out the core from their hand out of sheer hatred for her, she would be stricken with great sorrow and turn back into a regular puddle of oil. Also, Oil Slimes are extremely rare, so if one should discover her, chances are she is already Chemically Bonded with someone. If there is a person near her with a silvery orb in their left hand, that is a dead give away she is taken.

Quite an interesting entry; she sorta reminds me of the Oil Earthmen from Kamidori, except that she isn't buring. I find her personaly quite cute; I just love hyper and energetic girls.
Only part of her profile I don't quite understand is:
Feathers wrote:they love to bring life into "dead" things.
Does that means she likes making machines work, or does it means that she CAN brings corpses to life?

It means she likes to make people who that are listless back in good spirits, or revive out-of-fuel machines that are deemed useless. I'll add that clarification to my edit.

Wow, thats a really cool idea Feathers. Very unique form for a slime like girl to take. I really like the whole 'Chemical Bond' idea you threaded into it as well. 5 Stars Feathers.

I never played Kamidori long so I never saw that character, but I'm glad you like her. Even more so since you are a non slime lover. I really don't know what made me come up with a slime, she was a completely random idea I had while I was stocking "Monster" energy drinks at work.

THANKS! You made my day with that feedback sir. I was really unsure about whether or not she would be worthy for the MGDB since I'm out of practice with profiles. If you have any questions or ideas to improve her I'm all ears. ^^

Alright, I'm going to polish up the profile layout if I manage to get at least one more post of interest. I'll still do the proofreading now though, I should. I'm not trying to be all needy here, I just want to know if it's going to be worth investing hours into a new profile template is all. ^^; Since I'm a perfectionist it takes a LONG time to before I'm happy with my stuff.
