Though, just reaching her matured age of 18, she longs for a man. She dressed nicely, wearing a white Kimono with blue flower markings. The Ryu is looking for a man, and she needs someone she can trust.” One of them to Ruruto, with a nervous, but proud smile, Ruruto replies “Oh, I shall find her the perfect man.” She said, but the others simply laughed at her “Silly Ruruto, the humans of this village will pick the man best suitable this year…all you have to really do is inspect and make sure the human they offered is of high quality.” Another Shirohebi said to Ruruto as she smiled to her. Ruruto simply looked nervous, and then getting ready, she sets out of the shrine as she goes to the Ryu shrine located just a few blocks away from the Shirohebi temple in which she lives with all the other Shirohebi. As she makes her way to Ryu’s shrine, she stares at the magnificent shrine, staring at its green colored support beams on top of the roof followed by a bright red roof, the walls themselves where white all together to keep the shrines appearance simple. There the Ryu, honored by the humans and masters of the Shirohebi stands there at the top of her roof, her tail coiled around the tip of the building “Hello there Ruruto…” The Ryu said, her name is Lorene, her beauty and body show her magnificent body as it glimmers on the sun filled day “My majesty…you need me to do something for you?” she asked, even though she already knew the basic idea of what she had to do. “Ah, well Ruruto, I need you to help me by inspecting and making sure the man chosen by the humans to be by husband is as good as the humans claimed him to be.” Ruruto nodded “Yes my lord…” She said with a smile as she departed the shrine soon after, going to a near by village that welcomes all types of monster girls.

Though when he found out he was the chosen male to be the sacrifice to the Ryu, his opinions on the citizens of the village has lowered since he stated that there are more men suitable for her than him. This is because unlike most men, Daiso is very modest, always complementing those around him, even his opponents, he only insults those who prey upon the weak and helpless.
“I can’t believe that the village people think I am worthy for the mighty Ryu…surely there is someone more worthy…” He talks to himself, alone in a forest of bamboos, cutting the stalks down as he practices his slicing skills, cutting upwards and side ways to defeat his enemies with ease. After training, he puts his sword back on its case as he starts to head back, seeing the crow tengu’s flying about in the sky, the kappa’s near water edges of lakes and rivers as they play with other children “Ah…such tranquility…” He said before continuing his venture back to his house. As he got closer to his home through a short, but think forest of leaves, the house seems to be pretty simple, made of wood and has a waterproof woof shingles to keep the house from leaking. It was also pretty small, outside there was just two doors at the front and a door on the back, and inside where four simple rooms, the dining/living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. The house looked big enough to accommodate two people, though he lives alone, not that he is a hermit, but he prefers seclusion “Hmm…he then see’s a letter on his desk as he went inside his house, looking at it was written in old Zipangu language text, it said…

After a long walk with eating one of the fried octopus, he reaches the Shirohebi shrine, looking at it’s glory, he smiles “Well…here I am…” He then saw one of the Shirohebi’s, she smiled as she saw him “Welcome…you must be Daiso…” She slithered closer to him “Yes…I am Daiso…” He replied bowing to her, she giggled as he did so “Please…do not bow for me…now the Shirohebi Ruruto will be up there…” Pointing at a house about 4 stories up from where he is “She will be the one to see if you are fit to meet the Ryu…” Daiso nodded his head “Thank you…” He then started to walk upstairs, looking around, he see’s various other Mamono like Inari’s and Youko’s walking about. Looking back at Daiso as they giggled and waved at him, being the respectful man he was raised to be, he waved back.
Finally reaching the house where Ruruto is, he goes to the front of the house, taking off his wooden made slippers as he sits on his knees and knocks on the door.
