As the noon sun shone on a large town, there where three boys who were meeting in the park. One had hair as black as night, with fiery red eyes. The other had hair as black as the first but with eyes as blue as the ocean abyss. Both of them were of the same age of 9 as they looked at the last boy, he was only a year younger than the other two, he had hair as white as the freshly fallen snow, eyes as blue as the indigo sky, and small black rimmed glasses. the youngest boy looked at the other two with a worried look on his face.
"S-so, this is the last day we'll play together like this isn't it?" The young boy said. The Blue eyed boy walked over to him and patted the white haired boy on the shoulder. "Yeah, I guess this is, huh Marthy? But isn't it all the more reason why we should make this last day together the best? isn't that right Henry?" He said as he looked to the red eyed boy who chuckled as he patted Luke's back causing him to fall over which Henry apologized for "Yes it is Luke. Marthy, I think it'd be too quick to assume that we'll never see each other again, we'll definitely meet each other again, right brother?" Henry Spoke as he looked at Luke
"Yeah, even though we'll be apart, we'll still be able to keep a piece of each other in our heart." Luke sighed as his brother Henry chuckled "It's alright Luke, we know you aren't really the best at speaking what you want clearly and I think you've helped make Marthy feel better." Marthy looked at Luke and Henry with a small smile on his face "Thank you guys, to be honest, I was really worried that we might forget each other, but thanks to Luke I think I'll be a little more hopeful about this now."
Luke and Marthy smiled while Henry checked his bag and pulled out a platinum cylinder with a soaring bird design on it, Marthy looked at it curiously "Say Henry, what is that you have there?" Henry chuckled as he separated the cylinder into three parts revealing that they could be put back together again "Oh wow, is that a puzzle?" Luke asked as his curiosity was raised "Yeah, I got it from the nice Dwarf who lives in the south of town, they're bracelets that can fit together to make the bird design. We'll each take care of a piece so that when we meet again, we can put it back together." Henry gave the top bracelet to Luke and the middle bracelet to Marthy while he kept the Bottom bracelet for himself
Marthy looked at Henry with a slight mixture of happiness and sorrow as he couldn't help but hug him which caused Henry to groan slightly and Luke to chuckle "Thank you Henry, even if we're apart I win't forget you guys." Marthy spoke putting on the bracelet "Same goes for me, I'm sure we'll meet again and when we do, we'll reunite the bracelets together again" Luke spoke as he placed his on as well "Well then let's promise that we'll finish the Bracelet puzzle before any of us kick the bucket agreed?" Henry spoke as he placed the bracelet on. Luke and Marthy agreed happily, then the three played on their last day together before they were to be separated tomorrow.

Morning came as the sun shone on a lone tent by the roadside. The light from the sun woke up a young man by the age of 18. He got up as he smoothed out his snow white hair and rubbed his indigo blue eyes, he searched around a bit and found his black thin rimmed glasses by his traveling bag and put them on. After he got dressed in his white shirt and red overcoat, and orange pants and boots set, he got outside and disassembled his tent. The last thing he picked up after he finished was his staff, it had a very intricate design to it that would sell for a fortune. he sighed as he followed the road to the town into the distance.
It was around 9 a.m. when Marthy arrived into the town, it is as lively as any town, the most notable feature though is the mansion by the northern hillside. It was black designed in Gothic style architecture with a rose garden leading to the mansion. Marthy stared at the mansion wondering if that is where the lord of the town lived until he was bumped by someone. "Oh I'm sorry about that, are you alright?" The concerned stranger asked. Marthy took a look at who it was and he was face to face with a Holstarus he couldn't help but blush and move back after being so close "I-I'm sorry, I'm fine s-see you." Marthy said as he ran off, leaving the Holstarus to be confused
Marthy stopped running by the time he came at a simple restaurant. Marthy never had any real experience with women. Usually he is the type to just read the day away or study. One could call Marthy a bookworm at the first sight of him, but in reality he is handsome in a way, he just feels awkward around females. His reprieve was cut short by his hunger seeing as he hadn't eaten breakfast yet, he entered the restaurant for a bite to eat.
After he finished eating his breakfast and paid the bill for it, Marthy exited the restaurant, he headed towards the town square when a young butler about the age of 20 approached him, which was unusual as most people were in regular garbs. He looked at the Butler quizzically when he spoke "Excuse me sir, but are you by any chance Marthy Ambrosius?" Marthy looked at the Butler with interest as he spoke "Why yes, you are correct. My name is Marthy Ambrosius, might I ask as to why you came to see me in this manner?" The Butler gestured his hand to a nearby carriage "Well you see Sir Marthy, my lord received a letter from your mother about your arrival to this town and she would like to meet you again."
Now Marthy was really interested, How did the lord of this town know his mother and how did he share a connection to the lord? He complied with the butler as he bowed to him and entered the carriage. The butler climbed on the driver's seat and started driving slowly. Inside the carriage Marthy was sitting face to face with a woman of great beauty which caused him to blush slightly. She had hair of shining silver which reached down her back, eyes as red as roses whiched looked directly in Marthy's eyes with pride and confidence, and supple lips red as her eyes which where in a smirk. She wore a wine red Victorian Gothic style dress that reached down to her knees. Her legs were crossed as they were covered in black pantyhose which ended with her red high heel shoes.
Marthy knew too well who this is and stared at her with slight surprise and caution. The beautiful woman giggled as she spoke in a confident tone, her voice so pleasant to the ears that Marthy's body tingled when he first heard it again "My My, it has been a long time hasn't it Marthy, how long ago was it exactly? four years? five? or perhaps maybe 6 years ago?" Marthy looked at her carefully, as if he were caught trapped in the lair of a tigress "It has been exactly three years we had last met Alisa. I suppose you are the Lord of this town then?"
Alisa giggled and smiled at Marthy, revealing a subtle fang from her mouth. "Why yes, you are right Marthy, I became the Lord of this town about one year ago. But that's a story for another time, for now why not stay at my place? we have much to discuss." Alisa finished as she giggled at Marthy. Marthy had a feeling of danger when Alisa giggled like that, from his past experiences with her, whenever she giggled like that It was never good.
The carriage made the turn north to the hillside, with the mansion as it's destination.
In the dining hall of the Black Manor with only two people there, Marthy sat next to Alisa with a small plate of cookies, Marthy had an unusual weakness against sweets, he could never resist them. He saw Alisa look at him as though he were a cute child waiting for permission to eat one, and to be honest, he really did look like one which made him blush embarrassed as Alisa spoke "It's alright, take some." Marthy then took some cookies and eat some before turning back to Alisa "So, why have you called me here?"
Alisa looked at Marthy with a serious look on her face when she spoke "I want you to become my husband" Marthy just looked at her with a simple look of disbelief on his face, she did propose this numerous times but Marthy made it clear that he would not marry someone he doesn't love. so in his usual fashion Marthy replied with "And the real reason?" Alisa sighed as she looked at Marthy seriously "Someone is after my life for some time now." With that answer, Marthy actually looked worried for Alisa, no matter how much trouble she caused Marthy in the past, he couldn't just let her die like that, plus the foe must be very formidable in order to try and assassinate a Vampire.
"I see, and what do you need me to do? find out the one trying to take your life and stop them?" Alisa nodded "Yes, but it wont be that simple, who ever it is was especially crafty, they made it all the way to my bedroom without getting caught, Luckily I woke up and chased the intruder out before anything was done to me." Marthy thought about this for a minute and nodded "Have you noticed any patterns? Like does the assailant attack at certain times?" Marthy knew that it is never a good ideas for assassins or spies to become creatures of habit. Seeing where Marthy came from, Alisa nodded as she recalled the last few encounters of this assailant. "The assassin always strikes during new moon nights, where there is little to no natural light, easily allowing him to infiltrate the manor. He's pretty cocky if you ask me."
Marthy thought about this for a moment "Hmm, the day after tomorrow is the night of the full moon, Would you like me to stay here and find clues about the assailant before the time comes again?" Alisa looked at Marthy and sighed with a relaxed look on her face, Marthy could tell that she was really grateful for his held as she gave him a true smile, it was beautiful enough that Marthy couldn't help but blush slightly as he looked to the side "Shall I have the servants prepare the room next to me for you?" She asked as Marthy nodded "Yes, I think it would be wise to be close in order to assist you. May I explore the town and find any clues about the assailant?" Alisa thought about this and nodded "Very well, and while you are out there, can you keep an eye out for my servant Spencer? He has red hair and wears the usual butler attire so it should be easy enough to find him."
Marthy had another cookie before he bowed to Alisa and headed off to town
