Age of Chaos

So right now, some of you know I made a concept over the original setting. I am actually starting to type up the fiction. It doesn't have very much of the Kenkou Cross nor Okayado's monster girlish in it. But it does contain small amount of monster girl.

Please be reminded, this work was inspired by many things. Also contain religious and very dark setting. As this is a fictional story, I don't want anyone lecturing me about how religious work to me.

Age of Chaos, The ageless Templar: Chapter 1, home coming:
Spoiler: show
(First person narrative)

I am Salvator, I have no real name. The Salvator is a name given by one of the pope when I first joined the Knight Templar nearly... two century ago. I have an immortal lifespan, that is right. I've being Knight Templar for nearly two century. I had no memories of what happened before that, what was my name nor how did I got there. That cliff is the first thing I remember "awaken" at. The first thing I did afterward was helping a group of priests from group of raiders, thus that's where my name come from. "Salvator", latin for Savior.

Now, it is 1307. Early 14 century, the King of French accused us practicing Witchcraft and sent out his army to capture all of us. I was lucky enough leading group of other Templars with me out of the city, so they couldn't get us at first. But other Templars who are located in other cities aren't so lucky.

"A group of 6 Temple knights identified! Capture them all, kills them if they resist!" A voice in French accent spoke, it come from a man in cape. With French royalty crest on his surcoat, riding on horse.

"Shit, they found us. Your command, Salvator?" Albert asked in his usual German accent, one of my most trusted Templar.

"Their cavalry far outnumber us, we will retreat into the forest as deep as we can!" I guide my horse and lead my men into the forest, attempt to lose them while doing so.

As we rode into the forest, I've realized. It is not my own will to go into the forest, something or someone is calling me. The place where I first begin my memories in this world, that cliff where I awakened. "That is a dead end, Salvator! Are you sure about that?!"

My body begin to lost control, it was as if gotten drawn to that cliff. There are nothing but pure darkness under that cliff, my brain had gone beyond reason.

"We will keep going, we will jump off the cliff!" I commanded the rest of my templars.

"What? Have you lost your mind!?" Albert yelled, didn't expected this command from me.

"Have faith in me, we will jump off this cliff. This will be our leap of faith, it is either jump or die!"

"What do you mean?"

"It will be our end if we get captured by these French! They will torture us until we make false confession, then we will be burned at the stakes!"

"How can you be so sure?!"

"Did I ever made wrong judgement? You all had been followed me for years, and none of my judgement got any of you killed. Isn't that's the solid truth?!" I had to convince them, otherwise. None of them will live through this.

Suddenly, there are dozens of arrow flies toward us. One hit me in the head, luckily. My great helm is thick enough for it to bounce off, only leaving a small dent. But some another arrows hit all of our horse, and nailed Albert right on his shoulder blade through his chainmail armor, bodkin arrows. So that left us only on foots and a wounded templar.

"Cabron! They catches up!" Diego, a Spanish templar Raise his shield to block the arrow while helping each other up.

"Everyone, go on! I will be right behind you." I helped Albert up while other run toward the top of the cliff.

However, they waited for me and Albert. As they still have doubt, I quickly move toward the edge and jump off. Other did so as the French cavalry caught up. As the gravity pull us down, a strong wave of energy surround us and darkness took us away.

------------------------

"In the Lord's name! I can't believe they jumped off." Some of the French soldiers looked from the cliff. "Should we find a way down and search for survivors?"

"Leave them, it save us trouble. No body can survive this height anyway." The troop leader turns away and lead his cavalry away.

End of chapter 1.
