Theo stared at the sky, watching the clouds roll by as the wind caressed him gently. His thoughts were all centered on one thing he wanted, and had wanted for so long, but assumed he could never have. This thought tormented him, knowing that what he wanted was so close, and yet unobtainable. The thing he wanted....
"Theo! Theo?" a voice called out from next door. Theo turned and was greeted by the very thing, or rather, person, he had been thinking about. Maya, the Echidna neighbor of his. She had lived next door to him ever since he was a kid, and she had watched over him while growing up. As a kid, he had thought of her as another member of the family, but as he grew up, he had begun to think of her as much more.
True, she was much older than he was. Excluding the factors of most Mamono having vastly different lifespans compared to humans, Maya had hardly changed physically since Theo was a child. Her powder-blue skin, the light green scales of her serpentine half, her flowing silver hair, and those beautiful purple eyes....and those were the parts that weren't inherently sexual. Her body was definitely that of a mother, and her bust was sizable, and Theo often found himself imagining them gripped in his hands...
Ah, but now wasn't the time to space out, not with Maya calling to him right now. "Oh, Maya. Do you need something?" Theo asked, putting on his usual nonchalant attitude whenever they spoke.
"No, not particularly. I just saw you staring at the sky, and I thought I'd ask if something was wrong. Whenever you used to look at the sky like that, you were always thinking hard about something." Maya replied.
"Was I?" Theo replied, smiling.
"Oh, yes. I'd never seen such an introspective little boy!" Maya said, reminiscing happily.
"Heh. Yeah..." Theo said, sighing a little. 'Little boy...I suppose that's all you see me as, huh?' he thought to himself.
"Would you like to come over for a little while, Theo?" Maya asked, jolting him from his self-pity.
"Hmm? Anything special?"
"Oh, I suppose I'm just feeling a little lonely. I could use some company while I have some tea." Maya replied, and Theo complied to the request. Crossing the yards, Theo followed her inside to the modest interior of her home. Theo looked around, and determined that it probably was pretty lonely in here at times.
Maya, as an Echidna, had mothered many Mamono across the years, but that activity had halted some time ago. Theo remembered growing up with several children, and that Maya had had some older ones even before them. However, not long after Theo was 9, the father in the equation had left this world. Maya was a strong woman, but even she had her limits, and the loss probably still stuck to her this day.
Theo waited while Maya prepared some tea for the both of them, his eyes following Maya as she moved to and fro. She was so beautiful....
"Ah, there we go." Maya said, placing a cup of tea for Theo in front of him, then sidling over next to him, her own cup in hand. Theo took his cup and sipped quietly, while Maya did the same. He wasn't really sure what to say in this situation. Small talk came easy usually, but he hadn't been in Maya's house in a long time. Eventually, it was Maya who broke the silence. "Theo? Can I ask you something?" she said, setting her cup down on the table.
"Sure, go ahead."
"You've become such a handsome young boy." she said, eying him carefully. "How is it you don't have a girlfriend yet?"
"Hmm..." Theo mused, thinking about it a little. True, he hadn't had a girlfriend in a long time, and of course he knew the real reason. 'Because none of them are you.' he thought. Instead of voicing that opinion, though, he simply shrugged and sipped his tea again. "Maybe I'm not as handsome as you think."
"Oh, nonsense!" Maya chastised. "You're a fine, strapping young boy. ...I know! Why don't you date Kila?" she proposed, meaning her Werewolf daughter.
"I don't know if she's my type." Theo returned.
"Hmm...then what about Mira?" Her Minotaurus daughter.
"I don't think she likes me."
"Teriko?" The Dark Elf daughter.
"Well, to be honest, we tried to once....but I wasn't really into some of that...heavy stuff that she was. I froze up when I saw the whips."
Maya sighed. "That girl, always going straight for the whip..."
"Why the sudden interest?" Theo asked.
"Well..." Maya began, looking rather thoughtful. "I just see you around these days and think, 'What a waste for a boy like him to be alone.' ...I guess Mamono Mama's just worried about her boy." she said, smiling and running her hand through his hair. Theo couldn't help but smile. When he was a kid, he used to call Maya his "Mamono Mama," as she had so many children, and he was like one of her own back then. "Surely you've got someone in mind?" she asked.
Theo froze up when that question was asked. Setting his cup down on the table, he resigned himself to what he was about to do. "Yeah. ...Yeah, I do." he said quietly.
"I thought so." Maya said happily. "What's she like?"
"Well..." Theo said, getting more nervous with each word. "She's...very kind, and she's watched over me...for a long time. She's...older than me, yeah, but...she's so beautiful, I can't stop thinking about her sometimes."
"Mmm...sounds nice. Who is she?"
"......" Theo was facing a wall that he couldn't seem to get over. He was trembling a little, and he felt as if he was going to do something out of his control soon.
"Theo? You can't just leave me hanging like this. Who is it? Come on, you can tell me..." she said, rubbing his arm lightly.
That little touch was all Theo needed to set him off. Quickly turning to Maya, he grabbed her shoulders roughly.
"Theo, what are you--Mmph!" he voice was cut off as Theo sealed her lips with his own, kissing her roughly and forcefully. Maya's initial sounds of struggling died down, replaced by a lite moaning while Theo continued to kiss her as hard as he could. Eventually, Theo separated, and, coming back to his senses, Theo bolted up.
"I...I'm sorry! I...!" But Theo couldn't finish his sentence, and instead opted to flee. As he made to run, however, Maya's serpentine tail gripped his arm tightly, and pulled him back to Maya, who embraced him tightly, confusing Theo further. "Maya?"
Maya looked back at him and smiled seductively. "If you're going to force yourself on me, at least be sure to follow through to the end." she said, before moving to remove her shirt, letting the breasts that Theo had fantasized about hang free. Theo, still frozen in shock, couldn't believe what he was seeing, and could believe even less that Maya was now undressing him, removing his pants and boxers, letting his now-painfully-erect penis reveal itself. Maya moaned a little seeing it, before placing it between her breasts, and began squeezing it and rubbing it with her tits. Theo moaned in pleasure at this act, and nearly gasped as Maya increased the pleasure by adding her mouth to the mixture, sucking and licking him as she continued rubbing him. It was too much to handle, and in almost no time, he was shooting his load straight into her mouth, which Maya gladly accepted, not releasing him from her mouth until he was done, and eagerly swallowing his seed.
"My, that was so much. Are you backed up? Haven't you been taking care of yourself lately?" she asked.
"I...uh, I couldn't think of anyone but you, and doing...that...while thinking of you seemed kind of...disrespectful." Theo managed to reply.
"Oh, my. Then it's my fault your like this?" she said, gripping his still hard member. "I'll take responsibility, then, and squeeze out every drop that's in there because of me, then." With that declaration, she slithered her way up Theo's body, placing the entrance to her pussy right at the tip of his cock, before sliding smoothly down, crying out in pleasure. Theo groaned again as he felt her warm and tightness close around him. "Oh....It's been so long..." Maya moaned, before sliding up and back down in a smooth rhythm. Hearing that, Theo was determined to make it worth the wait, and took a little initiative. While Maya continued her rhythmic pumping, Theo came closer and began squeezing and kissing her breasts, causing Maya to cry out even louder. Theo sucked dutifully on one hard nipple, while pinching the other, and Maya's response was to move even faster. Theo continued his assault, licking, squeezing, lightly biting, and sucking on whatever area of her breasts he could find, which was driving Maya crazy. Maya responded yet again, this time by coiling her serpentine body around Theo, and squeezing him tightly, pulling the two even closer then they were before.
The pressure of Maya's strong coils, coupled with the amazing sensation of her pussy, was sending Theo over the edge. With the little bit of his body that he could still move, he began doing the work, and thrusted into Maya with all the force he could muster. Maya was screaming in ecstasy. "Oh, Theo! Don't stop! Don't stop! I'm almost...I'm gonna...I'm gonna....I'm cumming!!" she shouted, letting out an orgasmic yell, as Theo groaned and shot the biggest load he'd ever blown inside Maya. He was coming for a full minute, if not longer, and Maya kept squeezing him to make sure she got every drop.
Once he had finished, the two slumped in exhaustion, Maya laying on Theo's chest. Sighing contentedly, Maya looked up at him and smiled.
"So, I take it I'm the older woman you like?" she purred.
Theo smiled, a little embarrassed. "What can I say?" he said. "I love my Mamono Mama."
"Theo! Theo?" a voice called out from next door. Theo turned and was greeted by the very thing, or rather, person, he had been thinking about. Maya, the Echidna neighbor of his. Chapter 2

After what had happened, Theo wondered how his relationship with Maya would change. He had honestly expected that after their heated lovemaking, that things would return to the way they were, albeit awash in a sea of awkward tension between the two. What he didn't expect, was for Maya to insist he move in with her a few days later.
"But....I...I didn't think..." Theo had stammered. As he tripped over his words, Maya had grabbed his hand and held it firmly.
"Please? I've finally found someone to love again....I don't want to be apart from them..." Staring at those purple eyes pleading at him, Theo naturally couldn't say no.
And so it came to pass that Theo moved his personal possessions (the small amount of them it was) into Maya's home, and the two began living together. Eating together, spending time together, and eventually (as Theo had initially seemed uncomfortable with being in the same bed as Maya, thus working his way up from the couch), sleeping together. It was all like a crazy dream to Theo; he could never have believed something like this could happen to him.
Of course, many a dream has a rude awakening...
------------------------
One day, after several weeks of living together, Theo sat alone in the living room, idly passing the time, as Maya had left for the store some time ago. As he slowly flipped through a book he had already finished some nights before, a knocking came on the door.
"Coming!" Theo called, making his way to the entrance. By the time he had made it to the door, though, it burst open. Theo cried out and fell backwards as the room immediately increased in population.
"Oi, we're here!" cried a rough voice that Theo instantly recognized.
"Mira?" he said.
The muscular Minotaurus woman looked down and scoffed. "Heh, did I scare you? Ya always were a little wimp, Theo." she said, picking him up under the arms and righting him on his feet like he was a doll. Ignoring the slight to his physicality, Theo asked the obvious question of why she was there.
"Mom sent us all letters, saying she had important news for us!" chimed in another voice, this one belonging to Ikoi, Maya's Werecat daughter. "Now, outta the way! I haven't seen her in forever!" she said, pushing Theo away. Theo landed right against a horse-like body, looking up to see a face that was usually never seen without a red tint from blushing. Today was no exception.
"Sorry, Yumi." Theo said, pulling himself away from the Nightmare girl.
"A...Ah...It's okay..." Yumi replied, fidgeting. Theo didn't know what else to say, and as Yumi continued to fidget, if became obvious that she didn't, either. Luckily, both were spared when a younger Kappa approached Theo, eying him thoroughly.
"Oh, hey, Kae." Theo said. Kae simply continued to watch him, munching lightly on a cucumber she held, before walking away. Theo sighed and scratched his head at having so many visitors.
"Somethin' up?" came another voice, this time from Kila, the Werewolf. "You look sad."
"Nah, just a little surprised at all the visitors, I guess." Theo replied honestly.
Kila grinned, a little fang poking out of her mouth. "Then don't turn around. You got another one."
Although told not to, Theo naturally turned, and was face to face with a mass of light blue he remembered as Nuru. The Slime girl tilted her head in her usual adorable way. "Theo....sad? Nuru...not welcome...?" she said.
'Gah...I can never say no to that face!' Theo anguished mentally. Smiling, he patted Nuru on the head gently (which made her giggle as her body jiggled from each impact). "No, you're fine. I'm glad you're here." he said. As Nuru oozed away, Theo felt a pair of talons grip his shoulders. "Hey, Michi." he said, instantly knowing who it was.
The Harpy girl leaned over from her perch on his shoulders, her upside-down face grinning widely at him. "Heya, Theo! 'Sup, little guy!"
"I don't think I'm the 'little guy,' considering you're 5 years younger than me." Theo said dryly.
"Aww, you're no fun!" Michi claimed, hopping down from her perch and moving elsewhere.
"Oi, Theo!" bellowed Mira, snapping Theo to attention. "Where's Mom? She ain't anywhere in the house, and she ain't in the pool out back." Theo explained about Maya's shopping trip, and her nearing arrival. "Gah! All this crap about 'important news,' and she ain't here to deliver it! That's just like the old lady!" Mira griped.
"Oh, is that something I do a lot?" came a voice from the doorway. "I'll try to change myself, then." Maya said, moving inward to place the grocery bags she was laden with upon the table.
"M-Mom!" Mira said. She then laughed nervously. "A...Aha ha ha...! I knew you were there the whole time! That's why I said that!" she said.
"Oh, did you?" Maya replied nonchalantly. Maya said no more on the subject, but everyone in the room saw through that obvious untruth. After saying hi to all her daughters in turn, Maya relaxed up the couch next to Theo, sighing in contentment as she sipped some tea.
"Well?! Don't keep us in suspense!" Ikoi cried out.
"What's the news?" Kila asked.
Maya took another sip from her tea, before placing the cup down and announcing, rather straightforwardly, "I have a new lover."
Silence overtook the room, as everyone else took in that information, Theo included. He had no idea this was what she was going to tell them! How were they going to take it?!
"That's great!" cried out many a voice in chorus. Maya's many daughters leaped to her side and embraced her, accidentally pushing Theo out of the way.
"My, I didn't think you would take it so well." Maya replied, honestly surprised.
"Why shouldn't we?" Kila said. "You needed to find someone, and you have!"
"The old man was a good guy." Mira began. "But if you found another good man, ya shouldn't hesitate. Just run up and get 'im!" she finished, triumphantly clenching her fist.
"Oh, he's definitely a good man." Maya said, smiling.
"Who is he?" Michi exclaimed excitedly.
"Is he here, hiding from us or something?" Ikoi demanded.
'Oh, no...' Theo thought dreadfully. Maya grabbed hold of Theo's arm and pulled him closer. and rested her head on his shoulder.
"He's right here." she said happily. "Girls....Theo is my lover."
The silence that gathered from that statement was much heavier than the previous one. And much more menacing.....

The heavy silence lasted for a long time, with the eyes of every Mamono upon Theo. Then, Mira and Ikoi looked at each other, and Mira snorted, just before the two burst into an uproar of laughter.
"G...Good one, Mom!" Ikoi said between fits of giggling.
"You? A-And that twig?!" Mira said, laughing even harder. "Come on, if he was your lover, would you even feel anything?"
'Ouch, my self-esteem...' Theo thought as the two continued laughing at the idea. 'I can actually feel it dying...'
While the two continued to laugh, the rest of Maya's daughters simply looked at Mira and Ikoi or Maya in varying amounts of confusion. Eventually, the two calmed down.
"So, seriously, Mom...who ya got?" Mira asked.
Maya stared firmly back and repeated herself. "I told you. Theo is my lover." This got another small laugh from the two girls.
"Joke's over, Mom. We had our good laugh, now it's time to be serious." Ikoi said.
The "jocular" mood was beginning to diminish, as Maya replied. "I am being serious, girls."
"Oh, come ON!" Mira said. "You've taken it too far, Mom! It's getting old." Maya simply stared back, saying nothing, and Mira's already diminishing patience came to an end. "Quit screwing around!" she shouted, banging a fist on the table. "You expect us to believe that this little dinky guy..." she said, gesturing to Theo. "...is your new lover? That's crazy! That's insane! That's....just not right!"
"I bet it's his fault!" Ikoi chimed in, pointing towards Theo. "I bet he forced himself on her! How could you, Theo?! To our own mother! Taking advantage of her loneliness and your desperation, and..."
"ENOUGH!" Maya shouted, slamming her serpent tail on the floor, causing the entire room to shake, and Ikoi and Mira to instantly quiet down. "That. Is. Enough." Maya repeatedly, with deadly emphasis. "I was not expecting a warm reaction to this news, but that is going too far. I cannot believe you two would insult both Theo and myself by insinuating that he would do something like that, and that I would be taken like that."
"B...But, Mom..." Ikoi pleaded.
"But what?"
"He's...He's just a....He's just so....He ain't good enough for ya..." Mira said dully.
"Oh, he isn't, is he? You think he has no redeeming qualities?" Maya said. Without another word, she went to a chest of drawers in the corner of the room, opened one, and pulled out a small blue book. Opening it to a random page, she began speaking again. "Ikoi. Do you remember how many times when you were little, that you got stuck in a tree, because you were too terrified to climb down?"
"That's...!" Ikoi began.
"Who was it that always came to help you down, even if it meant climbing the tree himself, and even falling out of it and hurting himself sometimes? Theo." she said, glancing at the person in question.
'Huh. I had forgotten all about that.' Theo thought.
"Mira." Maya continued. "When you were young, you stole a toy axe from a store. Not only did Theo not tell on you, he actually saved up money to give the store, to make up for it."
"I...How did you...I never..." Mira stammered.
"To this day, I was hoping you would eventually confess to me about this, but you never did. I'm very disappointed, young lady." Mira had nothing to say in reply, simply gritting her teeth in shame and frustration. Maya continued onward. "As she was growing up, Theo helped Michi learn to fly..."
Michi giggled. "Oh, yeah! I remember that! It took three weeks, and Theo helped out every day!"
"...Whenever Yumi or Nuru were being teased, Theo would step in to defend them..."
Yumi blushed, while Nuru mused, "Theo....kind..."
'That got me beat up a lot, though...' Theo thought ruefully.
"...Whenever you or I had a problem, Theo was there. Even if there was nothing he could actually do to help, he still offered us support. ...Still think he's not good enough for me, girls?" None of them said anything in reply. Theo looked up at Maya, about to ask a question, when Maya answered before he spoke. "I kept that booklet because I thought you had potential for one of my daughters. After a while...well, I started to think you had potential for me, too. I just never thought you'd actually consider me." she said, smiling slightly.
"I don't think....I can accept this..." Ikoi muttered.
"You're going to have to, because regardless of your opinion, we are lovers." Maya affirmed.
Theo looked at the girls, all with varied expressions on their faces, and realized that it was going to be a chore to win them all over....

Chapter 4

Tensions were high for most of the day after that. Theo could feel the girls constantly glancing at him, and he kept expecting one of them to pounce on him and do things that most horror movie directors thought up on good days. Thankfully, though the stares were painful in their own way, no physical harm came to him, although that might have had something to do with Maya staying close to him for a good portion of the day.
At one point, the atmosphere got to be a bit much for Theo, so he decided to step outside by himself for a little while, and get some fresh air. Maya elected to stay inside, and Theo couldn't help but feel like she was doing so to prevent a sneak attack of some sort. Theo was grateful.
Outside, Theo looked at the sky and sighed, scratching his head. 'What am I gonna do?' he thought. 'How am I gonna convince them not to kill me in my sleep or something? It's bad enough they think that badly of me...' While Theo moped to himself, a familiar set of talons gripped his shoulders. "Hey, Michi." he said, looking at the young, brown-haired Harpy smiling down at him.
"Hey, Theo. Whatcha doin'~~?" Michi replied, blue eyes shining.
"Just thinking." Theo replied shortly, before a cover of brown plumage made him cry out. "H-Hey! What are you doing?!" he exclaimed.
"Thinking, thinking, you're always thinking!" Michi said, laughing. "How in the world did you manage the guts to hook up with mom?" Theo stopped at that. Brushing away Michi's wings, he looked up at her. "I would have figured Mom would go for someone stronger, not some daydreaming braniac."
"So, you don't think I deserve her?" Theo asked dejectedly.
"I didn't say that!" Michi said stubbornly. "I just said I would've figured. But Mom's always full of surprises. Guess this is just another one."
"So, you're...OK with it?"
"It's a little weird, but the way I see it, you're still that nerdy big bro of mine, Theo, just now you're together with Mom. You're both happy, and I'll get to see you both when I come over, so I'm happy, too!" Michi exclaimed, spreading her wings wide and letting the wind caress her.
Theo couldn't help but smile. It was a good thing Michi never really put too much analysis in things, and always saw the good sides of things. "Thanks, Michi." Theo said.
"Don't mention it." Michi said, climbing down from Theo's shoulders. Part way down, she let go with her feet, but kept her wings around Theo, hugging him and hanging on to him. "As long as I've remembered, you've been like family." She said. "Now...well, now you will be family. It's really great."
"Michi..."
"But if you do anything to make Mom upset..." Michi said, staring him in the eyes, but still smiling. "I'll pick you up and drop you off a cliff, OK?"
Theo couldn't help but laugh at that. "Sure, Michi. Sure."
"And..." Michi began, grinning slyly. "Make sure to give me a little sister soon. I'm tired of being the youngest!"
Theo turned bright red and was rendered speechless, while Michi giggled and flew off, leaving him standing there dumbfounded.
-------------------
The rest of the day passed OK, with Theo still garnering those aside glances from the girls, but at least he knew that Michi was on his side at least.
Eventually, night fell, and the girls decided to stay the night. More accurately, they decided to make a Mamono barricade against Theo from sleeping together with Maya. Apparently, this was one thing Maya was not making them budge on. To prevent an argument, Theo quickly agreed to sleep on the couch.
"You just make yourself comfy there, 'cause that's where you'll be for a while." Mira said firmly.
"Don't even think about trying any funny stuff, cause we'll be waiting!" Ikoi asserted.
Theo sighed as the door shut in front of him, before Michi passed by, apparently note apart of the "Block Theo" army. Yawning, she rubbed a sleepy blue eyes with her wing. "You gonna be OK, Theo? You want my bed?" she asked.
Theo smiled, and ruffled the little Harpy's hair. "No, I'll be fine. You get some sleep." Michi nodded and yawned again, practically asleep already.
Theo settled in to the couch as best as he could. He didn't mind sleeping there if he had to, but it was most definitely inferior to a bed. Especially a bed being shared with Maya....with a heavy groan, Theo fell into a rough sleep...
------------
Theo grumbled to himself, trying to keep himself comfortable. He felt odd, for some reason. He felt like he was in a wide open space, and like he wasn't alone. Looking around, he noticed he was in a wide space of nothing. Just darkness as far as he could see. Rather odd, considering there was definitely more than darkness when he went to sleep. As his mind tried to shift into gear, a sweet voice caressed his ears.
"Now, it seems I have a delectable little visitor, don't I?" the voice said, and Theo turned around, to be greeted by one of the most sexy women he'd ever laid eyes on. Her figure, her red eyes and lips, the flowing golden hair, and her explicit nudity made her an instant attraction that glued Theo's eyes to her, as she approached closer, chuckling to herself. Her delicate hands caressed his cheek. "I think we can have some real fun, don't you, little boy?" the woman said, before pushing him backwards lightly, where he landed on a soft bed that wasn't there a moment before. The woman leaped forward and straddled Theo, one hand on his chest, the other slowing making it move up his leg. "How about it?" she asked. "Want to see how I feel?"
Theo's breathing was getting heavy, and his mind was getting foggy. The obvious answer of "yes" was inches away from leaving his lips, when a thought flashed through his mind. A split-second image of Maya, his true dream-woman, now a reality. Regaining some control of himself, he shook his head. "No." he said.
"What?"
"I said no." Theo said, his composure coming back. "I've got someone now, so I don't need to dream about other women now."
The woman frowned for a moment, before smiling knowingly. "How do you know she feels the same way about you?" she demanded. Theo just stared blankly back, so she continued. "Maybe you were really just a way for her to finally get some after so long, hmm?"
"No. I don't believe that." Theo assured.
"Oh, really?" the woman said, and Theo suddenly felt a familiar, scaly sensation against his cheek. Turning his head, he saw Maya looking at him, and smiling sadly.
"It's true, Theo." Maya told him. "I only used you to have sex with you. I just haven't told you that there's nothing beyond that between us. It's all just an act, you know?"
"You see?" the other woman said, leaning in closer to Theo. "It's all just a physical attraction, so why not have a little fun with someone else?"
"I..."
"Go ahead, Theo." Maya said. "It doesn't matter. Maybe you should try again with one of my daughters. Who knows? One of them could be the girl of your dreams."
"Girl of my dreams?" Theo repeated.
"That's right." the other woman said, rubbing her hands on him. "Let me make your dreams come true..."
"So...that's it..." Theo said, smiling to himself.
"What are you talking about?" the woman said, frustrated that Theo still paid her little attention.
"Sorry, but I already have a girl of my dreams..." Theo began, grabbing the woman by the shoulders, causing her to jump. "And, I'm sorry, but she's not you! So...Let me wake up....Yumi!"
"Ah?!" the woman cried out, and everything around Theo went completely dark, before his eyes shot open, and he was sitting up on the couch, gripping the shoulders of a trembling Nightmare. Maya's daughter, Yumi.
"Gotcha, Yumi." Theo said.
"Ah...aaauuuu...."

Violet eyes wide behind her Magenta hair, Yumi continued to tremble beneath Theo's grip, still uttering that embarrassed moan. "Aauuuu..."
"Mind explaining what's going on here, Yumi?" Theo asked, careful to keep his voice from sounding accusatory.
"I...aauuu...I...aauuu...." Yumi continued to repeat herself. Theo sighed.
"Look, I know hearing all that about me and Maya probably wasn't something you wanted to hear..." he began, letting go of Yumi's shoulders.
"Eh?"
"...But that doesn't mean you should be trying to sway me away from her."
"...I...no, I..."
"It really wasn't necessary to make it seem like she didn't care about me, either."
"T...That's not it at all!" Yumi cried out suddenly, shocking Theo. He had never heard her raise her voice before, so this was quite a surprise. Her face turning even redder, Yumi pressed the tips of her pointer fingers against each other, trying to compose herself. "I...I don't h-hate you for being with M-Mom. T-That's not it at all." she stammered.
"Then why the dream illusion?"
"B...Because I...I...I..." Yumi continued stammering. If her face got any redder, steam would surely be seen escaping her ears. "I...I...I LOVE YOU!" she finally managed to burst out. Immediately after, she clasped her hands against her cheeks and squirmed in place, obviously embarrassed at having just admitted her secret.
Theo himself had to process such a claim. "Love? Me?" was all he managed to say. Yumi nodded.
"Ever s-since we were kids..." she claimed. "Y-You were always s-so k-kind to me, so s-sweet...Before long, I-I..." she trailed off.
Theo put his hand on Yumi's shoulder, causing her to gasp. "Yumi...I'm glad." he said, smiling. "I'm glad you don't hate me. But..."
"No." Yumi interrupted him. "I...I know. But if you say it....it'll hurt too much right now." she said, and Theo could see she was beginning to tear up. Theo pulled her closer and hugged her. "Ah...?"
"Yumi...you've always been like a little sister to me. I've always just wanted to protect you, to keep you safe, to make sure you don't get hurt." Theo said. Pulling away from her, he sighed. "Now I learn I've been hurting you instead..."
"N-No!" Yumi insisted. "H-How could you know? I n-never told anyone, s-so..." she trailed off again.
"Still, for you to come here and just find out that I'm with Maya..."
"I'll....I'll be fine. O-One day, it won't hurt to think about it, and then, w-well..." Yumi tried to smile, but Theo could see the tears beginning to form as well. "As long as you and Mom are happy...then I-I'll be okay." she finished, and before Theo could ask further, she slowly backed away, before turning and leaving the room.
"Yumi..." Theo said. He just sat there for several minutes, before sleep began to overtake him again. Hoping that Yumi would really be alright, he fell back to an uneasy sleep...
-----------------------
"....Theo..." a voice drifted in his ear while he slept. A giggle, then the voice called his name out again. "Theo?"
Theo's eyes opened to find Maya's looking right back at him. "Maya?" he said groggily, rubbing his eyes.
Maya giggled. "Rough night?" she asked.
"You could say that." Theo said, deciding it best to not mention what happened.
"I'm sorry." Maya said. "I didn't want those girls to keep you from sleeping next to me, but they wouldn't budge."
"It's all right." Theo said, rubbing his neck as he sat up.
"Oh..." Maya sighed as she laid her head on Theo's chest. "I had just finally gotten used to having you there with me, and to turn over last night, without you there..." Theo didn't say anything, instead opting to run his fingers through Maya's silky hair, causing her to sigh in contentment. The two remained like that together for some time, before Theo noted an interesting sensation moving up his leg. Looking down, he saw Maya's serpentine tail winding it's way around his leg, making a direct path for the junction between his legs. Maya was smiling slyly, and looked up at him with a small fire in her eyes. "Think we have time for a bit of quick little fun?" she asked, as Theo felt the tip of her tail moving over his crotch, rubbing him gently and sensuously. Maya smiled and continued to fondle him through his clothes, her fire growing in time with his erection. "Seems you're nice and ready..." Maya said, moving to remove Theo's pants....
"Mom~~?" called out a voice, recognizable as Ikoi.
"Oh, shoot." Maya said under her breath. "Looks like they're all getting up earlier than I thought." she mused. Looking sadly back at Theo, she kissed him gently, her tail removing itself from around his leg. "I'm sorry. Looks like we'll have to try for a quickie some other time, Theo."
Theo watched on as Maya moved away, responding to Ikoi's call. His body still quite energetic from Maya's interlude, Theo thought it best to head outside and calm himself down. No doubt if one of the girls saw him in his current state, they would misunderstand.
Theo was glad it was a cool morning. The temperature, combined with a cool breeze, served to calm him down, mentally and physically. Thinking about all that had happened so far, Theo's spirits were starting to rise slightly, though he still felt conflicted.
'I'm glad Michi's OK with it, Kae probably won't care, Nuru will probably be fine, and Yumi.....' at that thought, he sighed. 'Well, she said she's going to be OK, so I just have to believe her. She's a big girl, I can't protect her from everything...' Scratching his head, he attempted a smile. "Maybe it'll be easier to win them over than I thought." he mused.
As if on cue, the door burst open behind him, and Theo turned to see Mira....wearing a grin usually reserved for horror film villains. "Oi, Theo...." she said, cracking her knuckles. "How about one of our old wrestling matches? For old time's sake." she insisted. "It'll be fun, don't ya think?"
Theo gulped.

Theo grunted as he hit the ground, thrown there from across the yard by Mira. Theo looked up just in time to roll out of the way of a flying elbow drop, but not fast enough to get away from a headlock from the rough Minotaurus.
"How's that, huh?" Mira said, grasping him tightly. "Just like old times, eh?!" Mira was seriously putting on the pressure, and Theo just barely managed to slip out from under her grasp and get away. "Tryin' to run, huh? Won't work on me!" Mira shouted, leaping towards Theo at an astounding rate, and grabbing him and lifting him over her head. "Maybe we should try a backbreaker! How's that sound?" she said, grinning like a madwoman.
"Not good! Not good at all!" Theo cried out, squirming in her grip.
"Quit your whinin'! You're a man, ain't ya?! Or did Mom really settle for a wimp?!" Mira shot back, which caused Theo to stop struggling for a second when the realization hit him.
'So that's it...' he thought. 'Man, she's really pissed about that! Gotta do something quick, or I'll be in traction for the rest of my life!'
Before he could think of a plan, Mira tossed him to the ground again, and Theo wasted no time in trying to get away. Luckily for him, Mira had thrown him close to the old tree he used to climb as a kid. Doing his best to summon his old tree-climbing skills, Theo quickly scrambled up the branches, and looked down and a glowering Mira.
"Don't think you can get away like that!" she called out. "If I have to uproot the whole damn tree, I will!"
Theo readily believed her, so he thought quickly, trying to formulate some kind of plan to neutralize Mira, or at least placate her, before she tore him in two. As his mental gears worked full force, his memory quickly found a solution. 'That's it!' he thought. 'Her old weakness! ....But if she doesn't still have that old weakness, I'm so screwed...' Just as he thought that, Mira decided that was enough waiting, and began shaking the tree from the base of the trunk, causing the branch that Theo was on to sway and threaten to fall. 'But I'm still screwed if I stay up here much longer, so here goes!' Theo braced himself, readied himself, and leaped from the branch, straight towards Mira.
"What the hell?!" Mira cried out as Theo collided with her. Working as fast as he could, Theo sought to exploit Mira's classic weakness.....
...By tickling her. Moving his hands quickly, he ticked at her sides, near her ribs. At first worried it wouldn't work, Mira's initial gasp told him all he needed to know, and Theo kept up the "assault."
"Ah...Ah ha ha ha!" Mira burst out laughing as Theo continued tickling her. This time she was the one trying to squirm away, while Theo wouldn't release her. "S-Stop it, damn you! Gah ha ha ha!" Mira demanded, her face beginning to turn red. Theo didn't relent, because he knew the instant he did, he was dead. "Oh God, s-stop! Ah ha ha! I'm gonna...ha ha ha! I'm gonna kill y-Hahaha!" Theo thanked his lucky stars that this still worked as well as it did when they were kids. The best way to stop this rampaging Minotaurus? Tickle her into submission. "S...Stop it, p-please! Ah ha ha ha! I'm...I'm gonna piss myself! Ahhahahaha!"
That was usually a sign that she had run out of steam, so Theo made his proposition. "If I stop, will you stop trying to break me in half?" he asked.
"Guh...Aha hahaha! Y-Yes, OK?! AH ha ha! J-Just...s-stop, please~~!" When she pleaded like that, Theo knew she was honest, so Theo finally relented, and sat back as Mira lay on the ground rather limply, panting heavily. "Y...You jerk." she said weakly. "That wasn't...fair."
"Well..." Theo said. "...Neither was trying to smash me because you don't like me being with Maya." Mira said nothing in return, so Theo continued. "I know I'm not a very strong person, but maybe that's not what Maya was looking for. Either way, I'm going to do my best to make her a happy woman, and you can't strong-arm your way into interfering with that." he said firmly.
Mira finally found the strength to get up, and raised a clenched fist. At first, Theo thought she was going to hit him, and he was partially right. Rather than a right hook, she simply tapped him lightly on the head. "You dork." she said, smiling ruefully. "Stop trying to sound cool. It doesn't suit ya." she said. Theo blushed, and Mira stood up and made to walk away. "Fine. I'll leave you two alone. But if you don't keep up to snuff, I'll come over and make you a better man, whether ya want me to or not, got it?"
Theo gave her a mock salute. "Yes, Ma'am!" he said.
With that, Mira made her way inside, leaving Theo outside. 'Little idiot...' Mira thought, groaning. 'He doesn't know what tickling does to me now...' At that thought, her hands drifted her crotch, where a wet spot was beginning to form through her clothes. "Oh, God..." she groaned. 'I hope there's a room where I can get some privacy for an hour...Damn it.' she thought.
---------------------
Exhausted from running away from and tickling Mira, Theo wondered what he should do now. His answer came in the form of a splash coming from the other side of the house. "Someone's in the pool, huh?" Theo said, deciding to check it out.
Once he got there, he saw a shape moving smoothly and quickly through the water, and knew from experience who it must be. "Kae. Should have known." he mused, watching her form swimming laps around the pool. After a few minutes, her head popped out of the water, and she noticed Theo watching her.
"Theo." she said.
"Kae." Theo replied. "Having fun?" he asked.
"Somewhat." Kae replied curtly. "I find that a morning swim keeps me limber, and reduces lethargy."
"I see." Theo replied. Kae had always been the most introverted one, and her attitude often came out as a bit stand-offish, but she was a nice person, though perhaps a bit...odd, to some. "I would have just soaked a little to relax, myself." he said.
"Indeed? Well, this pool would be a satisfactory way to do so. The temperature is quite enjoyable. If you wish, I can leave so that you may have it to yourself."
"No, no. I'm not in the mood for it now." Theo claimed. "I just came by to see who it was, and see if you wanted to talk or anything."
"'Shooting the breeze,' as they call it?" Kai said, and Theo nodded. "I suppose I would not be against such a thing. Allow me to step out, then." As she did, Theo eyes widened as he was greeted by the sight of Kae's attractively small bosom, and nicely curved hips, and even a full view of the junction between her legs. Theo backed up and covered his eyes hastily. "Is something the matter?" she asked.
"Put some clothes on!" Theo demanded behind his hands.
"Hmm?" Kae just now seemed to notice she was without clothes. "Ah, yes. My lack of clothing would probably serve as a distraction, would it not? Allow me to clothe myself in just a moment, then."
A few minutes later, Kae had come back with some clothing on her, and Theo had managed to calm himself down. The two sat next to each other, both soaking their feet in the pool. Kae was always a good listener, and usually a good provider of insight, so it was fun for Theo to just talk to her about whatever. Eventually, Theo ran out of topics to use to avoid the main issue, so he figured he might as well get this question out of the way.
"Kae?"
"Hmm?"
"How do you feel about...well...about...?"
"About Mother and you?"
"...Yes."
"I see no problem in it." she said bluntly. When Theo gave her a blank look in return, she explained further. "You are both in love, yes? Then why should there be a problem? Trite as it may sound, love bypasses supposed limitations like race or age. I cannot speak for my other sisters, but I see no reason to be opposed to this union."
"Kae..."
"Indeed, I actually find it to be quite an invigorating idea." Kae continued. "Often, I have found myself rather bored in daily life. Being with Mother, being with you...those serve to alleviate such boredom. If you are both together, that will serve to alleviate boredom even more when I am around. An all-around positive scenario, yes?"
"I'm glad you see it that way." Theo said.
Kae stood up and stretched in the sunlight. "I think that everyone involved will be happier, in the long run. I only have one request."
"What's that?"
"If ever you and Mother feel you need more excitement, in the form of a threesome, allow me to be the first you call upon. It would be....interesting, would it not?" she said, smiling at Theo's dumbfounded expression and red face.
Watching Kae as she left, Theo could only think to himself. 'I just don't know what to think about her sometimes...'
"How's that, huh?" Mira said, grasping him tightly. "Just like old times, eh?!" Mira was seriously putting on the pressure, and Theo just barely managed to slip out from under her grasp and get away. Chapter 7

Having done enough relaxing by the pool, Theo headed back inside, and was immediately greeted by the grinning mass of blue that was Nuru.
"Theo!"
"Wah! Oh...hey, Nuru." Theo said, getting over his initial shock. The slime girl smiled, swaying back and forth.
"Play! Theo...Nuru...play!" she insisted. Theo couldn't help but smile. Nuru was the middle child, but in some ways she was the youngest and most innocent of them all. That just made her all the more endearing, and served as the primary reason for Theo's inability to refuse a request from her.
"Sure. What do you want to play?"
"Molding!" Nuru exclaimed. Theo smiled and nodded. Molding was a game they liked to play with her when they were children. Because she was a slime, Nuru's body was easy to shape and move around. They would all have a blast molding her body into strange and funny shapes, and Nuru loved it, too. "Mold...Nuru...look cool!" Nuru insisted.
Theo thought for a second. He'd never been the best judge of "cool." He'd just have to give a shot to something and hoped Nuru liked it. Taking hold of her back, Theo pushed and pulled some of her form outward, at two symmetrical spots on her back, causing Nuru to giggle as he did so. Smoothing and flattening out what he had a hold of, he fashioned her some wings in the style of a dragon. Reaching down to the base of where a spine normally would be, he added a tail, and ended that with two adjacent spikes. By now, Nuru was getting into her new form, and was actually flapping her new decorative wings, and swinging her new tail. Theo decided to continue with his "art," for lack of a better word, and added a row of spikes down the base of Nuru's "spine." To top off this motif, he added a single horn to her forehead. Adding one more touch, Theo took Nuru's hands in his, and narrowed and sharpened her fingers into deadly claws.
"There. What do you think, Nuru?" Theo asked, as Nuru looked over her new form.
Nuru giggled in childish glee. "Nuru love!" she said, swinging back and forth, before looking at Theo and assuming a dangerous pose. "Roar! Nuru...eat you!" she said, before bursting into another giggle fit, which Theo couldn't help but laugh at. As Theo laughed, Nuru let her body meld back into place naturally, and returned to her usual shapely form. "Fun!" she exclaimed, sidling closer to Theo, hooking her arms around one of his and snuggling close to it. "Nuru...happy! Theo now...Daddy!"
Those words took Theo by surprise. "D...Daddy?" he said.
Nuru nodded. "Mommy...Theo...in love! That mean...Theo...Daddy now!" she explained.
Theo placed his hand on Nuru's shoulder, and looked her in the eye, a serious expression on his face. "Nuru...you shouldn't call me that."
"....Why?"
"Because....because that's something you call your real father. And I'm...."
"Theo...Daddy. Papa...Papa!" Nuru interrupted.
"What?" Theo said. He didn't get what Nuru was trying to say.
"Theo...Daddy now. Nuru's...family now. Papa...always Papa. Always family. Nuru...never forget...Papa. Papa...nice. Theo...nice. Papa...Theo...both nice...both father. Nuru...so happy! Nuru have...two fathers!" Nuru explained.
Theo didn't know what to say. He had worried that getting called "Daddy" would cause him to be a replacement for her real father, and the last thing he wanted was to be thought of as a replacement, and make the memories of him fade. Nuru, in her ever-innocent way, had dispelled that theory before he had even voiced it. Smiling, he did the only thing that felt appropriate. He patted Nuru on the head, making her giggle and jiggle. "I...guess you're right, Nuru." he said. 'Two fathers, huh?' he thought. "But...I don't think I'm ready to be called 'Daddy' yet. Just keep calling me Theo, OK?" he asked.
Nuru tilted her head, probably pondering the reasons why, but then grinned and nodded. "OK!"
-----------------------------
That night, Theo was yet again blocked from Maya's room, though Theo took notice that the girls of the "Block Theo" army that he had talked to seemed less reluctant to join the blockade. A sign that progress was being made, if nothing else. Theo settled in for another night on the couch, hoping this time for a peaceful slumber. Slowly he drifted off to sleep....
....And perhaps a half-hour afterward, was awoken by a noise from outside. Getting up, he glanced outside the window, and saw nothing in the moonlit yard. Still curious, Theo stepped outside into the cool night's air. Looking around, he saw nothing, but glanced at the sky instinctively. The full moon gazed back at him. As his eyes drifted away from the lunar orb above, they caught sight of something on the roof. Doing a double-take, Theo examined further, and recognized the something on the roof.
"Kila." he noted. Finding a tree that grew close enough to the house, he made his way up onto the roof himself, garnering Kila's attention, as previously she had been gazing intently at the moon.
"Theo? What are you doing up?"
"I heard a noise outside. I thought I'd check it out."
"Oh. That was probably me. Sorry about that." Kila said sheepishly.
"It's OK." After that, the two drifted off into an uncomfortable silence, as Kila's gaze returned to the full moon. Theo decided he might as well bite the bullet and ask. "Kila, what do you--?"
"I'm confused." Kila interrupted.
"What?"
"It's...confusing me." Kila repeated. "One day, you were a member of the pack...then when I get here, I hear you're gonna be an Alpha. It's just...." she trailed off with a sigh.
"....Do you hate me?" Theo asked.
"What?!" Kila exclaimed. "No! I could never hate you!" she insisted. "You're a member of the pack! You're like a brother to me, and..." she got quieter after that, and Theo only caught the words "maybe even..."
"What was that?"
"I'd...hope that you would maybe even....be my mate." Kila said, turning red and closing her eyes.
"Ah..." Theo turned red in response, partly from embarrassment, partly from shame. Another girl he had never noticed the feelings of.
"But...I'm loyal to Mom. If she's chosen you, I'll just have to get out there and search for another potential mate, I guess." Kila said, looking back up.
"I'm...I'm sorry." Theo replied. "I never knew..."
"It's my fault. I should have snatched you up when I had the chance." Kila replied, smiling sadly. Theo could only look back sadly. Kila returned the gaze with a more analyzing one, before edging closer to Theo.
"Kila...?"
"Just...hold still for a sec, OK?" Kila insisted, moving closer. She drew her face closer to Theo's...and began sniffing him intently. She continued sniffing him, occasionally moving to a different spot. Just as Theo was about to ask, Kila mused, "I should get used to this scent being at Mom's..." Theo understood, but was still a bit uncomfortable. Still, he remained in place and let Kila continue. After a few minutes, Kila returned one last time to his face, but this time drew closer. Theo noted her face was turning red, a second before he felt her tongue flick his cheek, which made him jump.
"Wah!"
"Ah!" Kila said, regaining her composure, her face still deepening in color. "I just....I like your scent so much, I just...!" Kila groaned in embarrassment, hiding her face behind her hands. Theo stared at her for a moment, then smiled. This time, he moved closer instead, and reached behind Kila's head, and gave the spot behind her ear a light scratch, causing her to jump this time. "Ah?!" she said, as Theo smiled and continued, and she relaxed. This had always calmed her down when they were kids, and it seemed that it still worked today. Kila sighed, and laid her head on Theo's lap, as he continued to scratch behind her ears. After a little while, Kila grabbed a hold of his hand, making him stop.
"Something wrong?"
Kila shook her head, then sat up. "Theo...could you please...just this once..." she began, laying on her back, her paw-hands in the air. "...rub my...tummy?" she pleaded, turning a brighter shade of red than any time before.
Theo smiled. "Sure." he said. Gently, he placed his hand at her tummy, and Kila tensed up, before relaxing as Theo smoothly ran his hand up and down. Kila sighed and relaxed, as Theo continued with this new kind of petting. Both parties were smiling from this new type of bonding.
Once Theo had finished, Kila sat beside him and continued gazing at the moon. After a few minutes...
"You go back inside, Theo. I'll head to bed in just a minute." Theo nodded, and climbed back down to the ground via the tree from before. Kila listened intently for the sound of the door closing. As soon as she heard it, she fell onto her back and squirmed about. "I can't believe I let him see me like that!" she cried out. "I've never shown my tummy to anyone! It's so...submissive! ....But...it felt so good~~...." she mused, letting out a low sound, something like a combination between quiet howl and a low moan....
"Theo!"

Chapter 8

Theo, trying to rest himself up from everything that had happened to him so far, was trying to sleep in late. Generally, he would have been able to do this on a normal day. Of course, since the last few days had been anything but normal, this was not to be.
At first, a tantalizing aroma tickled at his nose, but the call of sleep was still the stronger force. A stronger force presented itself in the form of a sharp pain to Theo's stomach, causing him to shoot straight up, clutching his stomach, and looking up to see Ikoi glaring down at him.
"How long are you going to sleep, you lazy bum?" she demanded, her tone harsh. "Everyone else is already awake, so get up!"
Pain beginning to subside, Theo groaned from the rude awakening. "OK, OK..." he mused, rubbing his eyes. That same smell from before wafted through the air again. "What's that smell?" Theo asked.
Ikoi rolled her eyes and gestured at the small desk by the couch. On it stood a plate of warm food. Eggs, bacon, toast...a standard breakfast, but it looked very appetizing. "Maybe if you'd get up once in a while, you'd notice when breakfast is ready." Ikoi scolded.
"Huh. Did you make this, Ikoi?" Theo asked.
Ikoi turned her head up. "Tch. Don't get any ideas. I didn't make it for you. I thought I'd cook for the family, but I just made too much. I figured I'd rather give it to you then let it go to waste, So...." Ikoi trailed of for a second. "So, you better like it, OK?" she demanded, leaving the room in a huff. Theo thought he saw a tinge of red on her face...
-----------------
Some time after breakfast (during which Theo stayed in the living room while the girls ate in the kitchen and bonded), Maya came back to visit Theo, and try to perk him up.
"Theo, sweetie...I don't think we'll have to be apart much longer." she said, cuddling up to him.
"You don't?"
Maya shook her head. "I've been talking to the girls, and most of them seem to be okay with us now." she said. "I don't know how you convinced them, but they've accepted you, it looks like."
"Well, I'm glad."
"The only one still fighting it..." Maya mused with a sigh, "...Is Ikoi. And she's one of the more stubborn of the lot." The nodded in agreement. "She seems to be taking it the hardest, too." Maya continued. "But just think...if we can manage to sway her, we should be able to be back together again!" Maya said happily.
"Mama~~!" came Nuru's voice.
"Coming, Nuru!" Maya called back. Giving Theo a quick hug and a kiss, she whispered, "Do your best." After that, she was gone. As she left the room, Ikoi passed by her, glanced at Theo, and glared.
Theo rubbed his eyes in frustration. 'Easier said than done...' he thought.
------------------
And so it began, as Theo attempted to placate Ikoi throughout the day. It was not going to be easy, however. Ikoi seemed determined to ignore his attempts to strike up conversation, and seemed content to avoid him if possible. It was obvious that this wasn't as simple as the other girls. If you could call his situation with the others "simple," in any case.
After another failed attempt to talk to her, Ikoi went off to her room, and Theo decided to let her cool down for a few minutes, before he would try again. Once he figured a suitable amount of time had passed, he pushed open the door to Ikoi's room...
...And was greeted by the sight of a half-undressed Ikoi, just before he was pelted by one of her many stuffed animals, and a scream of "You stupid perv! Get out of my room!" assaulted his ears.
"Well, that worked out just fine." Theo mused to himself. Picking up the stuffed animal he had been pelted with, Theo recognized it rather quickly. "Huh. That's the one I got for her at a fair..." he said. It was an old gift, back when the two were about 6. Ikoi had been trying to throw a ball at a tower of battles, so as to win the "cute, adorable kitty doll." Honestly, Theo thought it looked a little silly, with it's odd pink coloring and goofy grin, but, being the good boy he was back then, he tried the game himself, wasted five dollars trying, and finally won on the last throw, giving it to Ikoi. Theo remembered how happy she was back then. "You used to be so sweet and cute back then..." Theo said. "What happened?"
A deadly quiet voice spoke up behind him. "Are you saying I'm not cute anymore, Theo~?" Theo turned and saw a very unhappy Ikoi glaring at him. Theo barely managed to stammer some kind of apology before Ikoi grabbed him and flung him back into her room, taking the stuffed animal from his hands as she did so. "Give me that!" she demanded, brushing off the doll.
"Ow, ow, ow..." Theo groaned, rubbing his neck. "Why do you still have that thing, anyway?" he asked.
Ikoi gave him a stern look, but the look didn't last very long, before she turned away and muttered, "I...Nothing wrong with keeping cute things!" she insisted.
"Cute? That thing's the definition of 'goofy-looking.'"
"Don't call him goofy-looking!" Ikoi snapped, before looking ashamed at her outburst. "He's....special."
"OK, sorry." Theo replied quickly. "....Special how?"
"It...I-It's not because you won him for me or anything, if that's what you're thinking!" Ikoi insisted, which caused Theo to smirk.
"Oh-ho, so that's it, huh?"
"What's that smile for?"
Theo just continued to smirk. He always tried to be mature, but something about Ikoi always brought out his childish side. "Not gonna tell." he said.
"I told you it's not like that!" Ikoi said sharply, her face beginning to turn red.
"Uh-huh. Sure~~..."
"Sh-Shut up! Stupid Theo! Nothing you'd give me would ever be that important to me!"
"Well, then maybe I should tell Maya to give the little guy away, huh?"
"Never! You do, and I'll...I'll...!"
"What? What are you gonna do?" Theo teased, adding a sing-song quality to his voice, inwardly grinning at Ikoi's reddening face.
"This!" she suddenly cried, before leaping at Theo and knocking him to the ground, taking him by surprise. Theo quickly came to his senses, and tried to grapple with the frustrated Werecat, causing the two to roll around her room, knocking into furniture and the like while the two struggled against each other. Ikoi's grip was too strong, though, aided by the claws that were almost digging into Theo, and eventually, she pinned Theo to the ground. Sitting on top of him, her angry face quickly turned triumphant. "I win!" she claimed.
"Yeah, yeah, you win." Theo said, smiling ruefully. "Now let me up."
"No."
"What?"
"I said no! You're not going anywhere, you little punk!" Ikoi said, getting a mischievous look in her eyes. "Nobody threatens my doll and gets away with it! Time for round 2!"
Thus it began anew. Theo wasn't a physically oriented person, but he had enough strength behind him to at least put up a fight. Maybe not against Mira, but he could wrestle with Ikoi, even if it was against his will. As the two began another rolling-around-the-room bout, Theo got the upper hand this time, and was able to pin a struggling Ikoi, although the victory came with scratch marks. "Ha! I win, this time! What do you say to that, Ikoi?"
"Ugh! Get off me, you perv!" Ikoi snapped, pushing Theo back off of her. "Hmph! At least when I won, I didn't look like I was gonna do dirty things to you!" she said, grumbling and brushing herself off.
"What's your problem?!" Theo snapped back, taking Ikoi by surprise. "I can't get a bead on you anymore! We used to have all this fun together when we were kids, and now you're always copping this attitude with me! What gives!" Theo demanded. Ikoi just stared back at him. "You won't talk to me, you make these snide remarks, you keep a stuffed animal I won you, and now, when I think we're finally having some fun together, you call me a perv when I win?! What the heck?! What did I do to deserve such an attitude problem?"
"You...You should know!" Ikoi shouted back. "C-Cause it's your fault!"
"My fault?!" Theo said incredulously.
"Yes, your fault!" Ikoi yelled. "Why'd you have to do this to me? Why'd you make me feel like this?!"
"What are you talking about?" Theo demanded, his anger coasting down and giving way to genuine confusion.
Ikoi glared at him, red faced, before jumping at him again, this time pushing him onto her bed, pressing against him, and kissing him, hard and deep. Theo tried to struggle away, but Ikoi dug her claws into him to make sure he didn't move. Finally, after she finally released him, she spoke up.
"Why'd you have to make me love you?!" she cried out.

Theo was shocked. "W...What?!" he managed to say, still pinned beneath Ikoi's grip.
Ikoi's face was turning beet red. "Why'd you have to make me love you?!" she repeated. "Ever since we were kids, you were always such a dork! But you were always so nice! And every time I thought you were just some weak little chump....You'd...You'd go and do something kind of cool, and...." she trailed off, and Theo saw her gaze linger on the stuffed animal from before. "...So...So even since we were kids, I've had these...these stupid feelings for you! And you never noticed! Stupid, stupid Theo!" she berated, beating him lightly over the head with one hand while still pinning him with the other.
"Ikoi..."
"And then...And then..." Ikoi continued, but Theo could see she was running out of steam. "...And then I show up, and find out you're dating my mom?! How...How do you expect me to react to that, when my heart's been screaming to my brain to just tell you...tell you....I........" Ikoi looked down, releasing her grip on Theo. "....I love you, Theo...." she whispered.
"Ikoi..." Theo was taken aback by this passionate admission (and the fact that this was the third girl to date to confess to him in some way). Seeing her shoulders shaking, Theo could tell she was trying to hide the tears. Reaching over to Ikoi, he gently patted her on the head, running his fingers through her hair. She moved to swat his hand away, but instead gripped his arm weakly. "...I'm sorry." he apologized, and Ikoi looked up. Indeed, her eyes were stained by tears. "You know I'm a pretty dense person when it comes to these things, but..." Theo sighed. "...there's really not anything I can do but apologize, is there? I wish I could make it up to you somehow, but..."
"...But you love Mom, don't you?" Ikoi said, looking down again.
Theo nodded. "Yeah. While you were developing a crush on me...I guess I was developing one on Maya. Maybe that's why I never noticed you like that. I'm...I'm really sorry, but I'm completely focused on Maya now."
"I...Yeah..." Ikoi muttered. Suddenly, she stood straight up, then pulled Theo to his feet. Suddenly, she started grinning. "Well, then, why aren't you with her right now? You two should be spending lots of time together!"
"Ikoi, I thought you..."
"What, you think I'm against it? Psh, why should I? If you're that focused on her, go to her! And be good to her, or I'll claw your face off! Now get out of my room and go to her's!" she insisted, pushing Theo out of her room and into the hall. As the door shut behind him, Theo kept his eyes on the door for quite some time, before begrudgingly following his orders.
Back in her room, Ikoi stretched her arms into the air. "Well, at least I got closure, right?" she spoke out loud. "I knew it wouldn't work out now, but why should that get me down? Who needs him, anyway?" she said. Then, her gaze caught hold of the stuffed animal that initiated everything that had just happened. Ikoi picked up the little creature, sat on her bed, clutched it close, and allowed herself to weep openly and freely. "Theo...." She would repeat that name several times during her crying session...
-----------------------
Finally, Theo was able to be allowed back into Maya's room that night. The "Block Theo" army had been disbanded, and each of Maya's daughters just sort of gave Theo mild encouragement as they walked by (although Yumi's, Kila's, and especially Ikoi's seemed halfhearted or slightly jealous). Maya was waiting for Theo when he went in, and immediately gave him a hug...which reminded Theo exactly how strong Maya was, when he felt his spine starting to shift.
"Sorry." Maya apologized. "I'm just...really happy that all the girls are okay with us now." she said, releasing him.
"Me, too."
"That reminds me," Maya mused. "you never told me how your parents took the news about us."
Theo thought back to that day, when he had told his mom and dad about his relationship with Maya....
-----------------------
"Oh! Finally, our good-for-nothing son has found himself a woman! I'm so overjoyed!" His father sobbed, clutching his mother tightly, as his mother weeped just as openly.
"Now I no longer have to worry about him one day coming to mooch off of us in our delicate old age!" his mother declared just as dramatically.
"We can leave him with Maya! Travel the world! Do all the things that our compassion for our troubling little boy kept us from doing!" his father cried out, pointing to the sky.
"Yes, Darling! And soon, maybe we can see grandchildren, and start anew!"
"Yes, and do things right this time!" And with that, the ran into the sunset, in each other's arms....
--------------------
"They were fine with it." Theo said curtly, not wanting to think about it.
"Well, that's good." Maya said, sighing. "I never would have thought they would have caused so much trouble..."
"It's alright." Theo said, placing his hands on her shoulders. "They were just concerned for you. And it was kinda nice to see them all, even if it was a little tiring."
"Come here, then. Sit next to me." Maya said, patting a spot on the bed next to her. Theo did as he was told, and Maya clutched his arm and nestled in closer to him, making a noise of content as she did. Theo smiled and ran his hand up and down her arm, which made her smile more. The two stayed like that for several minutes, before Theo looked around and noticed something that was different from before the girls arrived.
"What's this?" Theo said, causing Maya to look up. A framed picture stood on the nightstand, and Theo reached for it, before Maya dashed over and placed it face down, smiling back at Theo nervously.
"N-Nothing, Theo. It's just something the girls pulled out. You know, part of their plan." she said, trying to cover. Theo would have none of this, though. Placing his hand on her shoulder, to comfort her, Theo pushed her hand away, and put the picture frame back up. It was a picture of Maya and her husband, most likely taken shortly after they had gotten married. You could easily tell from the picture how much they loved each other.
Theo looked over at Maya, who looked down, as if ashamed. "...I'm not trying to replace him, you know." Theo said.
"I know. ....I know."
"If you want to keep the picture, that's perfectly fine." Theo continued. He smiled back at the picture. "He was a good man." he said, remembering the times he had met him back when Theo was a kid.
"Oh, he wasn't perfect." Maya said, plucking the picture off the stand and looking at it. She smiled. "He couldn't cook, and you could never get him to be on time for anything. We never saw a single set of previews for a movie, you know?" she said, looking up at Theo. Theo moved in closer. "He was such a heavy sleeper, too..." Maya sighed, and Theo heard her voice crack. "He tried a bit too hard to be funny, and he was the worst sort of impulse buyer...." Finally, it happened. Maya clutched the picture to her chest, and Theo moved behind her and hugged her, as she broke down in tears. "And I miss him so much...!" she sobbed.
Theo just silently comforted the distraught Echidna. He'd stand there and hold her as long as it took...

Although the pair had moved back to the bed, Theo continued to hold Maya, who continued to cry silently for her departed husband. Maya clung to Theo, who responded with gentle, reassuring touches to her shoulders, face, and head.
"I'm sorry..." Maya managed to choke out at one point.
Theo shook his head. "Take all the time you need. I understand."
Maya moved in closer to Theo, and took him up on his offer. After several more minutes of silent tears, a small laugh escaped Maya's throat. Theo looked down at her, and Maya looked up, and a small smile danced upon her lips.
"I...I was just...thinking..." Maya began, starting to calm down. "...this reminds me...of the first time...I ever though you could...be more than just my daughters' friend..." she said.
"Really?"
Maya nodded. "Do you remember? It was several years back...you weren't even twelve yet. You and all the girls had been playing outside, when you came in to ask me for a drink. But...you found me here, crying over that same picture." Theo stayed silent, but he was picturing the memory in his head as Maya continued. "You didn't say anything...didn't ask what was wrong...you just came right over to me...and hugged me. Told me to cry as much as I needed to, and you'd be there to help..."
"...Yeah."
"...Do you remember that?"
"...Yeah. Truth be told...I think that was the first time I ever felt that you were more than just my Mamono Mama, you know?"
Maya let out a soft laugh. "Yeah." she said. The two drew closer, and gently kissed each other. Theo looked straight into Maya's eyes when the two separated. "You don't regret this...do you?" he asked.
"...No." Maya said firmly. "...I think....I think he would actually be happy for me."
"Really?"
"Yeah. He always thought you were a good kid. He felt like you were his son, since...well...."
"Yeah." Theo asserted. The unspoken limitation of all Mamono. It didn't need to be visited. Maya had had enough pain to think about.
"Funny thing...He actually once said, 'If ya ever get remarried, hon'...make sure it's to someone like ol' Theo. He's a good kid, if a bit lackin' in the sense department. 'Specially when it comes to women, y'know?'" Theo would have said something to the contrary, but the man had him pegged. "So...I think he'd be really happy, to see us both together."
"I'd like to think so, too." Theo replied.
"And now...my girls seem happy, too." Maya said, smiling. Theo said nothing, just smiled back. "So...." Maya said, drawing closer, and Theo felt her serpentine coils begin to wind around his leg. "...please, Theo. Let's make love..."
Theo agreed, and the two began to get lost in each other's bodies...
-----------------------------
Unbeknownst to the two lovers, outside their room, a pseudo-peepshow was taking place. Several young female figures were crowded around the door, listening in to the sounds coming from inside.
"Wow...Mom seems to really be getting into it." Kila mused, her ear against the wall. She began to fidget in place, before whining. "Aw...why can't that be me?!" she complained to herself.
Ikoi let out a hiss. "You? Why not me?! I'm really flexible! I could show Theo all sorts of wonderful tricks!"
"Flexible?" Kila snorted. "What does that matter? It's all about the energy involved, and trust me, I'd have more than enough for Theo!"
"What? Are you saying you could out-sex me?"
"Anytime!"
Kae shook her head at the bickering Werecat and Werewolf. Listening in further, Kae mused, "My, my. I don't recall Mother having an orgasm like that one in quite some time."
Yumi fidgeted next to her. "Sh...Should we really be doing this?"
Kae smirked back at her. "If I recall correctly, you were the first one to be listening in."
"N...N-No, I-I-I...!"
"Perhaps you wish that you could do something like this with Theo?" Kae said, before taking the cucumber she held, and began licking and sucking on it in a rather sultry manner, which caused Yumi's face to turn completely crimson in a single second. "Oh? I think you are beginning to have a nosebleed, are you not?"
Aside from the Kappa and Nightmare, Mira grumbled to herself. "Sheesh. Didn't know that runt had that kinda staying power. Heh." she chuckled, grinning and shaking her head. "Maybe Mom'll let me borrow him when I need stress relief. Bet he couldn't handle me..."
Further to the side, Michi and Nuru listened in as well. "Wow..." Michi gasped, turning red.
"Theo...Mama...very happy. Theo...very virile..." Nuru mused.
"At this rate, it'll be no time at all before we have a new sister!" Michi mused happily.
Nuru squirmed in place. "Nuru...want Theo...too. Nuru...horny...want Theo...badly..."
The two lovers continued to love each other, and the seven girls continued to listen. It was an...interesting night for all...
----------------------
A few months afterward, Theo and Maya were finally to be wed. The wedding ceremony wasn't big, but it was lovely nonetheless. All of Maya's daughters were there, including the Dark Elf Teriko, and Maya's first born, an Echidna who Theo had never met. Theo didn't have many to invite, just a few friends.
And so it came down to the most important moment between the two.
"I do." After both had made that two-word promise, the two leaned in closer to kiss....
...Before a window to the chapel shattered, and down with the shards came a figure, landing between the pews and posing.
"Incubus Damien, at your service!" Right afterwards, another figure landed next to him, doing just as dramatic a pose.
"Succubus Charlotte, reporting!"
Everyone was taken aback by this sudden arrival. Except for one person.
"Dammit, Dad! Mom! Now, of all times?!" Theo demanded.
Theo father Damien just laughed at his son. "Ha ha ha! Do you think that I would miss the wedding, even if it is my good-for-nothing son's?" he said. "But this...this is just not right! A wedding is an expression of love, so we should all be expressing our love! Everyone, turn to the person next to you, and...get...BUSY!!" Damien exclaimed, posing with every statement, before Theo clocked him on the head with a nearby candelabra.
"Quit trying to turn my wedding into an orgy!"
"Oh ho! So, my little boy's finally grown a pair of balls, eh? Come, why don't you see if your stones compare to your old man's?!"
As the father and son duked it out in front of several shocked onlookers, Maya had a calm discussion with Charlotte.
"So, a Succubus now, Charlotte?"
"Yes, it just sort of happened. But Damien seemed perfectly OK with it, and now he couldn't be happier living like an Incubus."
"It certainly seems he's full of more energy." Maya mused, watching as Damien struggled to get away from Theo, who was hanging on him like a deranged ape.
"Yes, well." Charlotte giggled. "Do take care of my senseless little boy, will you?"
"Don't worry. We're both going to be fine...together.
-----------------------------
After a week's recovery from his bout with his father, Theo was finally able to live a married life with Maya. Living, loving, just being together....it was all that Theo could hope for. But he got even more than he could hope for one day....
Two months after the wedding, preparations for a new arrival were being made.
Nine months after that, a baby Lamia graced the world. ("Yay! Now I'm not the baby anymore!" Michi cried upon the arrival.)
Undoubtedly, she would grow up in a house full of love.
"I'm sorry..." Maya managed to choke out at one point.
