Drago Yatami - Age/18, Current Holder of the Flare Blade Solar, and is on a quest to defeat the sorceress Yukari for killing Lighting. His main priority is his to do only what he thinks will help his family so he spent his childhood caring about his family, and less about having a real childhood. Drago isn't too bright and tends to get easily manipulated by others.
Tsubasa Yutori - Age/18, Best friend of Drago, the two used to always hang out when they were younger. He is on thin side and is not very masculine, but makes up for it in knowledge and speed. He has devoted his life as a powerful magician that he has never had many friends besides a few like Drago and Lighting. He is loyal friend willing to help Drago on his quest.
Setsuko (Goddess of Winter) - Age/???, Goddess of the Winter and is also the one who built Glacien the Village hidden in the Frozen Mountains.
Haken Frealein - Age/21 years old, Haken is a Elvish Warrior from a neighboring Forest Elf Tribe. As he was growing up he met Drago training, being a warrior he wanted to prove how strong he was challenged Drago every time they met.

1000 Years ago mankind and demons fought over for world power and just recently the world had gone through another Revolution Known as the Order of Light.
During the beginning of time there were two creators known as Chaos and Helios Chaos the Creator of Darkness and Helios the Creator of Light. Chaos created life; meanwhile Helios had created land and dimensions for life to be able to live and flourish. Among of the creations of life was mankind the race that depends on help in order to overcome obstacles. Man had made an alliance with the Elves, Dwarves, and Mermen during the war which was a crucial part of the Demon Wars.
The Humans ruled the great lands known as the Great Plains where Order and Justice can be carried over easily and be seen without many problems. Mankind was an oddball race as they were lacking in everything the other races exceeded at, but to the Humans their lack of power in other arts was made up for their ability of being able to adapt to many tasks that many races can't do without excess help such as under water travel and sky travel.
The Elves ruled the Forests and shared the Swamps with the Mermen, The Forests were perfect for hiding and with the trees being tall it was ideal for training Archers. Those that live near the swamps are more into the Arcane Arts of magic and possess a strong magical stone that gives the holder of the stone infinite mana and power to rival a god.
In the Mountains lives the Dwarves a strong warrior like race that loves fighting and drinking. he Dwarves are great blacksmiths that almost every race learns from them or have the Dwarves build them great armor and weapons. The Dwarves are highly resistant to the temperature as they like the cold mountains and they love the blazing pits of hell where they forge their weapons.
Living in the Ocean and other bodies of water live the Mermen, they are a race of aquatic creatures with a similar DNA structure as the other 3 races. Mermen males and females are actually different looking from each other, Males are big and muscular with legs and could go on land with ease; the females are more human looking with the top of a human looking female with few differences and the bottom half where legs would normally be are instead aquatic creature limbs such as fish tails, Octopus Legs, and Eel tails. At first the races always had big battles with each other and feared one another. This had lasted for generations that the races had found many areas to live and started to get more resources and got to know each other more.

They soon realized outside of looks, environment, and some ability differences they were similar so they slowly started to stop their fighting. The races where strong together and would almost never lose to no other force, and they all shared their history together and formed peace contracts with each other calling themselves the “Justice Alliance”.
Unknown to these races aside from rare occasions is that there were other races that lived and shared the world with them too. Up in the Heavens lived the Gods and Goddess who watch over the world to make sure that the world is in balance. There are many Gods and Goddess that the other races decided to worship these higher beings and follow their bidding.
There are other beings who live in the skies near the Heavens and they are the Avians, who are Winged beings who can fly and express great power. They usually remain neutral aside from the Angels who work for the gods, but the other Avians try to stay away from fighting as much as they can.
Deep in the pits of Hell that the Dwarves found, there is a race known as the Demons who inhabit the world too. Due to the the Demons Powers of Darkness and tend be more reckless then most of the other races the Human's and Elves saw that the Demons must be punished and slain.

This caused a huge war and many of the gods were mad that their followers were going into war with each other and fought among themselves. Some Gods favored the Demons while others favored the Justice Alliance, and others remained Neutral to all of this. The war was in the favor of the Justice Alliance for 850 years that they even killed the Devil ruler who had Monsters and other Demons on his army.
When the Devil leader died his main supporter which was Goddess Astarte, who saw that the Demons were not evil but were just a bit misunderstood. She Knew that the Demons were just fighting to defend themselves realizing that the other races were just afraid of the unknown and the Dark Powers they possessed. She also knew that the Army of the Devils were the big fear as they were killers, man eaters, and showed no reason to care about the other races as they were just food for them.
So in order to show the Justice Alliance that the Demons can be friendly, she declared a treaty that all monsters who wish to be in the Kingdom's protection to stop fighting and tone down their hunger and Wrath. Many Demons decided to go with the treaty as they were tired of the the fighting and death toll of both sides, while others opposed the idea and cast themselves away to many parts of both worlds.
The Justice Alliance decided to accept this and asked their Gods what they thought about the situation. The Gods decided that if the demons were to be accepted in the world of the Light then they must prove themselves a friendly and that the borders of the Realms of Hell, Gaian, and Heaven must guarded. Astarte agreed with her fellow gods and ordered her demon followers to build Villages and Forts near each Border of Hell where all races can be accepted and become peaceful.

One Hundred Years later The world was peaceful again, but during this time the Justice Alliance was becoming weaker due to the common people losing faith in the Alliance. During this period Gods and Goddess' had been traveling down on the planet to meet the races they love and care for and actually have demi-god children. Meanwhile a cult made by humans who worship a God of Light Helios, were tricked by the God of Trickery Loki and his Seraphim Lucifer who was a powerful Angel of Light who pretended to be Helios and told them that everybody who isn't Human is planing to eat and kill them so that they had to get rid of every non-believer.
The Cult decided to be called the Order of Light, and everyday they became more and more powerful. They became so powerful that they started a Revolution to overthrow the Justice Alliance and had taken over many of the Border Towns. They were successful and the world since the past 50 years had became a very hateful world to anybody who was not Human. The Gods were furious and when they found out that the most respected Seraphim Lucifer was responsible for the entire world's downfall and rebellion.
So the Goddess of Creation, Chaos, had banished Lucifer and his Army as Fallen beings and sent them to the Land of Nowhere "Limbo", the place of nothing, dull color, and endless time. The Goddess of Knowledge Quetzalcoatl figured out Loki was the mastermind and the Gods Chained him up to a rock in Hell so that everyday a giant snake will spray venom in his eyes.
Due to the cults source of finding that Loki was their real savoir they now focus on trying to save Loki while faking that to people that they are praising Helios. They lie about other races, monsters, and sometimes even gods to get what they want. They are sometimes just simply are called "The Order." Many of those in the Order don't even realize that they are being used to free Loki. Even some of the Strongest Knights, Bishops, and Kings don't know about the true intention.
Some Gods do believe that the Order are right and are doing what they claim as evolution and must be supported, while others are against it. Helios is one of the Gods that support the Order even though they used his name for a scheme because they have the potential to be the ultimate beings, and he still not knowing that they plan on bringing back Loki. Chaos on the other hand Opposes the Order and has sealed off some parts of the world to be alone from the Order these Lands are known as the Lunar Lands and the Order World is now known as the Solar Lands.
In order for one citizen of one land to enter the other land, one would need to enter a special shrine dedicated to a God, where they would need the approval of the God to cross into a portal into the other lands.

Chapter One

"Drago!" A voice called out for my name. "Drago? Are you awake yet?" I tried to ignore it, but the constant calls of my name made me get up.
"Yes mom, I'm awake." I replied to my mom, slowing getting out of my bed and changing clothes.
After getting changed and cleaning myself up, I head down towards the kitchen to see my mother Erika cooking breakfast. I was about to set up the table, but saw that my friends had done it already and sitting there waiting for me.
"We came to say hi, but you were still asleep, so we helped your mother set up the kitchen while we waited for you." My best friend Tsubasa tells me, while he reads a book about thunder spells.
"H-h-h-hi Drago! I hope you are successful today." Shinobu says, blushing from her shy nature.
"Um for what again?" I asked, not fully understanding her.
"Your trail of the Goddess, Drago." Tsubasa replies. "Geez, sometimes you are more forgetful than a goblin."
"Hey no need to go that far!" I shouted back, but soon started laughing. "I will become successful to bring peace to this world." I boast "Anyways, Shinobu what are you doing later? I was thinking about celebrating my victory with all of you guys you included.
"Well, um... I have to work and defend the merchants traveling to the Capital city, so I won't be able to make it your celebration party." Shinobu says.
"Okay, breakfast is ready!" Erika says setting down the plates of eggs and bacon for everyone. "Hope you three enjoy it and good luck my son!"
The four of us eat our food, while talking about what we should do for my party. My mother kept implying on having me go out and get a wife, which caused me to tell her I'm not ready yet, getting Shinobu to become uncomfortable and Tsubasa to laugh. However we all settled on having a feast with the townsfolk so that everyone will know I'm the new hero. After finishing breakfast, the three of us said farewells to my mother and went to the Snow Temple to for my trail. Shinobu only came to say goodbye as she now had to leave to guard the merchants and Tsubasa also had to leave, cause he wanted to continue his studies on becoming a great wizard. So I arrived at goddess' shrine looking for the Goddess and met the priestess who directed me towards the goddess alter, in which the goddess Setsuko showed up, with snow blowing around her and bright light blinding us.
"Good Morning, Drago." Setsuko said in a elegant voice. "What may I do for you?"
"Your holiness I am here to take your trail and prove that I am fit to become your champion!" I answered.
"Alright child of thunder, I will give you a task that only those brave and strong enough will be able to complete it, as many before have fallen from it." She replied. "You must go and defeat the devil that has been terrorizing the Academy ruins during the night. It sleeps during the day so you best find it and kill it in its sleep. You must bring back the Staff of the Necromancy as it stole it from my fellow goddess Hades."
"I will accept this trail and bring back it's horn as proof that I slain the demon!" I yelled getting excited to be able to do this.
"Oh! One more thing, to make sure your safe, I'll lend you an angel who will forever follow you till you complete your quest." Setsuko said, summoning an angel.
"Hello, my name is Celina and I'll be your guide." The angel said as she landed from the skies.
"I am Drago Yatami, and nice to meet you too." I said while admiring her heavenly looks. "Thank you Goddess Setsuko! I will be off now."
"Good Luck, child of thunder." She said back, waving us a goodbye.

As we were heading towards the ruins I made it back to my house first to get my sword and and shield that my father once owned, knowing that the devil would be powerful and dangerous with the staff it possessed. I told Celina to stay close just in case if anything were to happen I would be there to protect her. Celina kept telling me that it was I, who needed to be protected, but I just told her if I'm gonna be the hero I should be the one defending not the one being defended for. Celina gave up trying to and let me be, she did talk about how many people from the town had tried this quest but where never to be seen again giving me advice to run while I can if it gets out of hand. The two of us reached the shut down academy and see many blood stains and the rooting building covered in vines. I was hasty to rush inside, however Celina held me back telling me I need to go slow.
"Careful Drago! It may still be day, but the devil can still be awake around this time." She whispers pointing at the thick trees shading the place. "With all this vegetation covering the place, it is dark enough that even nocturnal beings can be awake."
"Huh, thanks for the tip!" I say to her, slowly opening the half-broken door. "It seems clear."
We enter the building and find the area to be very dark inside. I was going to bring out my torch, but Celina uses her powers to light the way; which we find a trail of blood. We follow it, knowing very well it is most likely a trap, and find the devil using the staff to bring out what seemed to be half-rotted Demon out of a portal. I grab onto my sword but Celina tells me to wait, telling me that if we attack now we might not be able to get the staff back. I then decide to sneak up on the devil while he isn't looking and steal the staff. Celina lets go of her light and follows me.
"I almost have it." I whisper to her, with my fingers almost within the grasp of the staff. "Oh no!" I say when my fingers slip and causes the staff the fly forward and hit the ground gaining the devil's attention.
"Well, Well! So it seems another foolish human has come here to slay me!" the Devil says after picking up his staff. "Come to kill me just cause I'm Devil?"
He throws a fire ball at me but Celina blocks it with a magic barrier.
"An Angel?" He says surprised but not shocked. "So the gods must finally want me gone. You humans never change!"
"What do you mean!?" I ask as he now summons a few zombies to attack me.
"Oh don't go innocent on me!" He shouts clearly mad at my response throwing more fire at me but Celina just repels it towards the zombies while I hack at their heads. "You humans always attack us none humans! Killing us Devils just cause of our horns and powers!"
"Humans shouldn't be doing that!" Celina Shouts at him. "It goes against what Chaos stands for!"
"Well it seems like the past 15 humans who came here didn't think the same!" He shouts back, summoning a minotaur zombie to attack us. "Every time a human showed up here, they always came to slay me just cause I'm an evil monster!"
As the minotaur charges towards us, I parry it and chop off its head with my sword. "You're wrong, I'm only here to get the staff back and stop you from killing more innocent people!"
"You call those people innocent!?" He mocks me. "I saw them kill my father and when I pleaded for help they tried to kill me!"
"Look I'm sorry for you, but you can't go around killing other people who have done nothing wrong!" I say, rising my shield to block the demon's strike.
"What's so wrong with a few sacrifices to bring back a loved one? I'm sure you have a loved one you want to see again?" He asks me, with me stopping. "Huh, you want to see them?"
"Why would he want to do the forbidden act of necromancy! The dead only come back as undead!" Celina says only for her to be caught off-guard and was struck by the Devil's lightning bolt.
"No! Celina hang on!" I say rushing towards her, but the Devil stops me.
"I won't let you near her until you answer my question boy!" He says. "So do you or do you not want to see a loved one come back to life?"
"I-I-I..." I manage blurt out. "I-I do...."
"Good, cause now this angel dies as the sacrifice." He says as Celina's body starts to shrivel with her screaming for me to run. "I know who you are Mr.Yatami!" he says smiling as I stand there in terror as my angel companion is getting her life energy drained but then the devil is attacked by dark ball of energy. "Hey who did that!?"
"I did!" A woman says "Let go of the weapon and angel and I'll let you life depend on this man''s will." She says getting another energy ball ready to fire.
"Alright, Lady! I'll play your game!" He says lowering his guard. "Okay, see I'm putting it down. Now let me leave in piece before I, Hey watch it!" He shouts as an energy blast nearly misses him.
"I'm not playing your game, now Mr.Yatami while he's in my range do what you came here for! Finish your quest!" The mysterious woman says.
"Alright! Take this!" I yell swinging sword towards him as he covers his eyes and screams in fear only for me to stop my swing a few centimeters from his face. "I-I-I can't!"
"What!?" The woman says angered at my opinion. "But what about your quest!?"
"I Can't kill another person who is innocent of their crimes!" I yell "Go! Leave before I change my mind!" I say to the devil who looks at me confused but takes the moment to run away.
I rush to the woman and Celina only to see that Celina is out cold and looks very frail almost like a dried up corpse.
"Why didn't you kill him?" The woman with says, as I see her face I notice that words and runes are all over her skin like if she was cursed. "But sparing the life of another who kills is something most people can't do. I have to give you that."
"Who are you and how do you know who I am?" I ask remembering that she called me by my last name and how I never seen her in my life at all. "What's your business with me?"
"I am the Goddess of Curses and Hex known as Hextoria. I was sent as an agent of the Yamas to retrieve the staff back to the undead. I however learned about your quest and thought I would help you." Hextoria tells me. "However you let the demon go before even taking a horn so you have failed your mission while I completed mine. I'll help you by giving you one wish, that'll come true."
"Really?" I ask her "Let me think about this about this." I tell her as I think about what the Devil has told me and how how he was a victim of persecution.
"Alright, I give you a moment, but beware once this wish has been made it cannot be reversed or changed as my powers will grant it as hex that cannot be stopped even by myself." She warns me as I am finishing thing about my wish. "So are you ready with it?"
"Yes I am!" I tell her. "This is my wish! I wish for all non-human beings to be loved by man and for them to be accepting of man to end the discrimination towards them."
Hexteria chants in some ancient language and glow in a dark aura. The aura splits off and flies across the sky when she finishes her chant. "Now that it is done, I'll be taking the staff and be on my way now." She leaves and I decide to return back towards the temple, but when I do I see the town covered ablaze in flames and that Setsuko is injured from the fires and that everyone is saying a Devil attacked the place and how I am the blame for this.

I see many of the villagers yelling and arguing about fire and unholy attacks, but not before a villager notices me.
"There he is!" A villager yells pointing at me, as the others start to surround me.
"What is going on!?" I call out wondering what happened. "Why are you surrounding me?"
"You let a demon loose and injured our homes and Goddess!" A farmer says with his pitchfork at my neck. "Probably to take us down for not helping you take down your sister's murderer!"
"Wait! I didn't let a demon loose!" I say "I love all you guys like family and would never hurt you guys! Let alone the Goddess!"
"Then tell us why that devil said you let him loose!" An angry farmer yells. "He said 'You can thank Drago for sparing my life!' just before he set it ablaze and hurt our goddess!"
"I'm sorry!" I say, now realizing what had happened. "I didn't expect this to happened. I swear!"
"Is it true?" I hear my mother say and the crowd goes quite. "Is it true you let a devil free that destroyed our peaceful village?" I can hear her crying not wanting it to be real.
"yes, Mother..." I answer with regret and guilt on face but not wanting to look her in eyes. "I..I did let it free. I'm sorry your son is failure."
"You heard that? He admits to attack our village! Get him!" Several of the villagers say as they rush towards me and I prepare myself to my fate, but to my surprise I was unharmed and opened my eyes to see an arrow of elvish design land in front of me. "What the-!" the man with the pitchfork says as they look up on the roofs to see an elf and mage readying to attack them if they make another move.
"You disappoint me Drago! You're supposed to be my rival yet you let a little mob take you down!" The elf says. Removing his hood to show that he is Haken Frealein, an elvish warrior from the nearby elvish village.
"What are you doing elf? Are you saying that our peace contract is broken even in a time of need like this?" The mob asks slowly backing away.
"Fools!" the mage says, showing himself to be Tsubasa. "If you kill Tsubasa, what good will that bring to the village!?"
"But he let a devil destroy our village and our Goddess is too weak to open her eyes!" The mob yells back. "We need to get rid of him before he brings more trouble back to us!"
"That's where you're wrong." Haken says jumping down landing in front of me. "I have come here to represent my village, I will send aide but only if you promise to let Drago live."
The mob thinks for a while before deciding. "Alright, fine. Drago you get to live but starting this evening you are banished from this village! We will give you an hour to pack up and leave if you aren't we'll have no choice but to force you out!" They say before leaving to help fix the broken buildings.
"Thanks." I say to my two saviors, but am met with a glare from Haken.
"You idiot because of you, a dangerous being is in this area and because of that the villagers want to get you for that!" Haken says. "Me and Tsubasa, can't help much right now as we now have to defend this place just make sure no monsters attack now that the goddess and village were attacked!"

I go back home to see my mother crying, packing up my clothes and food for me. As she gives me a hug, "Drago, Why did you do this? Why? I packed your stuff for you!"
"Mom, I'm sorry..." I say. "I really am. I let the devil go free because he was a victim of discrimination and hate. I can't hurt someone who was hurt, just cause they hurt us for hurting him."
My mother hugs me even harder and sobs more. "I just hope you'll be okay. Please be safe my son." She says letting go of me and going towards her room for privacy. I pick up my bag and leave, not turning to say goodbye to anybody and find myself in the snowy wilderness. I spot a few wolves running away and even see elves looking at me from the snowy tree tops. I travel downwards thinking to myself that maybe if I reach Shinobu I can still have a friend to talk to. I look up in the skies as I heard a loud screeching sound and see the great serpent Goddess Quetzalcoatl flying and I was amazed by the beauty of the goddess, that I didn't notice the group of Yetis sneaking up on me.
I set up a tent and and camp fire and was about to enter my tent, but forgot to bring in my bag. I turn around to see the giant beast swing a rock over it's head while it kept saying "Fresh Meat!" before I kicked him the the stomach surprising him, only to be grabbed by another one. I try to get myself free, but the strength of the Yeti is too much for me and being a male Yeti means that I am more likely to die to his hug then bite. I kick his toes as he picks me up only to get him more angry. "WAH! YOU MEAN! I EAT NOW!" I see his mouth open wide and feel his arms starting to crush me, but a sword lunges into the yeti's mouth making him scream in pain and he turns around to swing his free hand but misses only to be stabbed this time in the eye killing him and his partner runs away knowing that he would be next.
"Thank you!" I say to person who saved me, but when I see her face, I felt all my worries disappear and instead questions pop into my head. "Lightning is that you?"
"Correct Brother it is I, your sister Lightning." She says wiping the blood off the sword and turns to me smiling before skinning the Yeti for it's fur.
"Yes mom, I'm awake." I replied to my mom, slowing getting out of my bed and changing clothes.
After getting changed and cleaning myself up, I head down towards the kitchen to see my mother Erika cooking breakfast. I was about to set up the table, but saw that my friends had done it already and sitting there waiting for me.
"We came to say hi, but you were still asleep, so we helped your mother set up the kitchen while we waited for you." My best friend Tsubasa tells me, while he reads a book about thunder spells.
"H-h-h-hi Drago! I hope you are successful today." Shinobu says, blushing from her shy nature.
"Um for what again?" I asked, not fully understanding her.
"Your trail of the Goddess, Drago." Tsubasa replies. "Geez, sometimes you are more forgetful than a goblin."
"Hey no need to go that far!" I shouted back, but soon started laughing. "I will become successful to bring peace to this world." I boast "Anyways, Shinobu what are you doing later? I was thinking about celebrating my victory with all of you guys you included.
"Well, um... I have to work and defend the merchants traveling to the Capital city, so I won't be able to make it your celebration party." Shinobu says.
"Okay, breakfast is ready!" Erika says setting down the plates of eggs and bacon for everyone. "Hope you three enjoy it and good luck my son!"
The four of us eat our food, while talking about what we should do for my party. My mother kept implying on having me go out and get a wife, which caused me to tell her I'm not ready yet, getting Shinobu to become uncomfortable and Tsubasa to laugh. However we all settled on having a feast with the townsfolk so that everyone will know I'm the new hero. After finishing breakfast, the three of us said farewells to my mother and went to the Snow Temple to for my trail. Shinobu only came to say goodbye as she now had to leave to guard the merchants and Tsubasa also had to leave, cause he wanted to continue his studies on becoming a great wizard. So I arrived at goddess' shrine looking for the Goddess and met the priestess who directed me towards the goddess alter, in which the goddess Setsuko showed up, with snow blowing around her and bright light blinding us.
"Good Morning, Drago." Setsuko said in a elegant voice. "What may I do for you?"
"Your holiness I am here to take your trail and prove that I am fit to become your champion!" I answered.
"Alright child of thunder, I will give you a task that only those brave and strong enough will be able to complete it, as many before have fallen from it." She replied. "You must go and defeat the devil that has been terrorizing the Academy ruins during the night. It sleeps during the day so you best find it and kill it in its sleep. You must bring back the Staff of the Necromancy as it stole it from my fellow goddess Hades."
"I will accept this trail and bring back it's horn as proof that I slain the demon!" I yelled getting excited to be able to do this.
"Oh! One more thing, to make sure your safe, I'll lend you an angel who will forever follow you till you complete your quest." Setsuko said, summoning an angel.
"Hello, my name is Celina and I'll be your guide." The angel said as she landed from the skies.
"I am Drago Yatami, and nice to meet you too." I said while admiring her heavenly looks. "Thank you Goddess Setsuko! I will be off now."
"Good Luck, child of thunder." She said back, waving us a goodbye.

As we were heading towards the ruins I made it back to my house first to get my sword and and shield that my father once owned, knowing that the devil would be powerful and dangerous with the staff it possessed. I told Celina to stay close just in case if anything were to happen I would be there to protect her. Celina kept telling me that it was I, who needed to be protected, but I just told her if I'm gonna be the hero I should be the one defending not the one being defended for. Celina gave up trying to and let me be, she did talk about how many people from the town had tried this quest but where never to be seen again giving me advice to run while I can if it gets out of hand. The two of us reached the shut down academy and see many blood stains and the rooting building covered in vines. I was hasty to rush inside, however Celina held me back telling me I need to go slow.
"Careful Drago! It may still be day, but the devil can still be awake around this time." She whispers pointing at the thick trees shading the place. "With all this vegetation covering the place, it is dark enough that even nocturnal beings can be awake."
"Huh, thanks for the tip!" I say to her, slowly opening the half-broken door. "It seems clear."
We enter the building and find the area to be very dark inside. I was going to bring out my torch, but Celina uses her powers to light the way; which we find a trail of blood. We follow it, knowing very well it is most likely a trap, and find the devil using the staff to bring out what seemed to be half-rotted Demon out of a portal. I grab onto my sword but Celina tells me to wait, telling me that if we attack now we might not be able to get the staff back. I then decide to sneak up on the devil while he isn't looking and steal the staff. Celina lets go of her light and follows me.
"I almost have it." I whisper to her, with my fingers almost within the grasp of the staff. "Oh no!" I say when my fingers slip and causes the staff the fly forward and hit the ground gaining the devil's attention.
"Well, Well! So it seems another foolish human has come here to slay me!" the Devil says after picking up his staff. "Come to kill me just cause I'm Devil?"
He throws a fire ball at me but Celina blocks it with a magic barrier.
"An Angel?" He says surprised but not shocked. "So the gods must finally want me gone. You humans never change!"
"What do you mean!?" I ask as he now summons a few zombies to attack me.
"Oh don't go innocent on me!" He shouts clearly mad at my response throwing more fire at me but Celina just repels it towards the zombies while I hack at their heads. "You humans always attack us none humans! Killing us Devils just cause of our horns and powers!"
"Humans shouldn't be doing that!" Celina Shouts at him. "It goes against what Chaos stands for!"
"Well it seems like the past 15 humans who came here didn't think the same!" He shouts back, summoning a minotaur zombie to attack us. "Every time a human showed up here, they always came to slay me just cause I'm an evil monster!"
As the minotaur charges towards us, I parry it and chop off its head with my sword. "You're wrong, I'm only here to get the staff back and stop you from killing more innocent people!"
"You call those people innocent!?" He mocks me. "I saw them kill my father and when I pleaded for help they tried to kill me!"
"Look I'm sorry for you, but you can't go around killing other people who have done nothing wrong!" I say, rising my shield to block the demon's strike.
"What's so wrong with a few sacrifices to bring back a loved one? I'm sure you have a loved one you want to see again?" He asks me, with me stopping. "Huh, you want to see them?"
"Why would he want to do the forbidden act of necromancy! The dead only come back as undead!" Celina says only for her to be caught off-guard and was struck by the Devil's lightning bolt.
"No! Celina hang on!" I say rushing towards her, but the Devil stops me.
"I won't let you near her until you answer my question boy!" He says. "So do you or do you not want to see a loved one come back to life?"
"I-I-I..." I manage blurt out. "I-I do...."
"Good, cause now this angel dies as the sacrifice." He says as Celina's body starts to shrivel with her screaming for me to run. "I know who you are Mr.Yatami!" he says smiling as I stand there in terror as my angel companion is getting her life energy drained but then the devil is attacked by dark ball of energy. "Hey who did that!?"
"I did!" A woman says "Let go of the weapon and angel and I'll let you life depend on this man''s will." She says getting another energy ball ready to fire.
"Alright, Lady! I'll play your game!" He says lowering his guard. "Okay, see I'm putting it down. Now let me leave in piece before I, Hey watch it!" He shouts as an energy blast nearly misses him.
"I'm not playing your game, now Mr.Yatami while he's in my range do what you came here for! Finish your quest!" The mysterious woman says.
"Alright! Take this!" I yell swinging sword towards him as he covers his eyes and screams in fear only for me to stop my swing a few centimeters from his face. "I-I-I can't!"
"What!?" The woman says angered at my opinion. "But what about your quest!?"
"I Can't kill another person who is innocent of their crimes!" I yell "Go! Leave before I change my mind!" I say to the devil who looks at me confused but takes the moment to run away.
I rush to the woman and Celina only to see that Celina is out cold and looks very frail almost like a dried up corpse.
"Why didn't you kill him?" The woman with says, as I see her face I notice that words and runes are all over her skin like if she was cursed. "But sparing the life of another who kills is something most people can't do. I have to give you that."
"Who are you and how do you know who I am?" I ask remembering that she called me by my last name and how I never seen her in my life at all. "What's your business with me?"
"I am the Goddess of Curses and Hex known as Hextoria. I was sent as an agent of the Yamas to retrieve the staff back to the undead. I however learned about your quest and thought I would help you." Hextoria tells me. "However you let the demon go before even taking a horn so you have failed your mission while I completed mine. I'll help you by giving you one wish, that'll come true."
"Really?" I ask her "Let me think about this about this." I tell her as I think about what the Devil has told me and how how he was a victim of persecution.
"Alright, I give you a moment, but beware once this wish has been made it cannot be reversed or changed as my powers will grant it as hex that cannot be stopped even by myself." She warns me as I am finishing thing about my wish. "So are you ready with it?"
"Yes I am!" I tell her. "This is my wish! I wish for all non-human beings to be loved by man and for them to be accepting of man to end the discrimination towards them."
Hexteria chants in some ancient language and glow in a dark aura. The aura splits off and flies across the sky when she finishes her chant. "Now that it is done, I'll be taking the staff and be on my way now." She leaves and I decide to return back towards the temple, but when I do I see the town covered ablaze in flames and that Setsuko is injured from the fires and that everyone is saying a Devil attacked the place and how I am the blame for this.
