There are those who would scorn good-natured people. Even if God himself will
not show his face, a heartful person will one day take God's place in
visiting Judgement upon them. This is what is known as "Divine Retribution"

I was rather surprised myself when I heard the news. I'm looking forward to see how it turns out.

Also, nice foreshadowing for Tekken X Street Fighter- a long forgotten game in development...

After seeing all the lovely wings I'm a fan. Lillymon and Angel Woman ooooh yeaaa! Also love Cyber Punk and the overall futuristic hacker theme.

I am looking forward to it. I tell myself only 22 more days till we get awesome digital goodness. Love the fact we get two exclusive digimon also with dlc.

I also love how the world of Eden reminds me of Digimon the Movie and Summer Wars which had the same director.

So......... This happened.

Markiplier, one of the most popular gamers on youtube, got hacked by a group called "Ourmine" who hacks popular internet people for followers on twitters.

I honestly can't tell if I'm more amused than annoyed, right now.

Video is down, and TBH, good riddance.

The Ourmine are just a bunch of immature Script Kiddies with an insatiable desire of popularity. They're Attention Whores in mayhaps the most literal sense of it...

I also feel quite bad for Markiplier; I've often watched his vids and they're quite good. Hope he can get back on his feet soon enough.

That'd be a case of "Don't give them the satisifaction of attention", right?

Problem is, so many people are already supporting them. They take requests on who to hack, and all that. Trying to get everyone to ignore them would be impossible.

I'd like to see a group like that using their hacking skills for something good. Hack into the accounts of those who are making propaganda for ISIS, or something. At least do something useful, rather than inconvenient.

Yeah, like what Anonymous is doing now against ISIS.

I think anyway.

There already are and have been for quite a while now, not just Anonymous. Sad thing is, they are almost never mentioned or celebrated because in the net, unless what you did was of such help (Like Anon helping the French Intelligence Services to track down the french leader of ISIS, which ended up with the guy having more holes than a Swiss cheese) that official authorities or similar powers announce what you did to the world, your actions will pass by unnoticed. And yet, even in those cases where you're of help, there'll be always be a bunch of idiots who claim that you still shouldn't do what you do(there was a lot of ppl telling Anon to stop messing with ISIS and let that to the authorities alone), because ''Vigilantism is Wrong!'' blah blah blah...

I'm going digital on the Vita for Digimon. Save $20 dollars and won't have to pay to pvp.

Not gonna impact much, since not all cracking teams will stop XD.

Like, NosTeam, SKIDROW, The Prophets.

They'l most likely adapt to any measures in cracking security updates and stuff. Crackers are so adaptable and adept that they cracked the WiiU's bios code and EMULATED the thing already!. I am not kidding, look it up.

The point here is the security software denuvo, which more and more AAA titles are using lately. Of which so far 3dm was the first and still only group to crack a denuvo game. Lords of the fallen, Dragon Age, arkham knight, etc. And denuvo is getting better and more difficult to crack. nintendo games probably don't use them. These are for multiplat titles from the mega corp pubs such as EA, Ubi, etc. Those are the games this is being measured off of.

Actually, SKIDROW RELOADED has started to work on their own way to Crack Denuvo as well. Not sure if they've succeeded yet, but to have one team say they'll stop doing something will not change anything; the other teams will soon enough find their ways to do what this team did.

Nonetheless, it's an interesting experiment, as it could end up destroying one of the AAA Industry's Holiest Gospels; the ''This game got low sales because of piracy, not because it's shit.'' mantra, which they repeat, and repeat every time something goes wrong, (This year, I heard some Sony ppl saying that was the reason The Order 1886 had been such a flop... but pretty much everyone knows it's because it was shit.).

If those game that don't end up pirated end up being big failures, the Industry won't have the Pirates to blame this time. It'd be quite amusing to see what they'll put the blame on now. (My money's on ''Mobile Gaming stole our Customers'').

As for the ''Impregnability'' of Denuvo itself, that'll soon be gone too. If 3DM managed to Crack it, someone else will soon follow. And no matter how stronger it gets, Denuvo uses an algorithm to generate its codes, and once this algorithm is gotten hold of (which isn't easy, but not that hard either) then Keygens will be produced using it and the security will be void.

In the end, the only way to stop pirates isn't to put bigger locks on everything, but to make the genuine stuff more advantageous than the Pirate one, like Steam has been doing.
