Oh no doubt about it. ANYONE in'er place would have the same expression. Still doesn't even come CLOSE to stopping the pricelessness of it all though!

In the same spirit of my last post in the Angel topic, and in my simultaneous post in the Elf topic, I'll ask this:

How would a Mimic react if you sang Dark Chest of Wonders (by Nightwish) to her?

Don't even know what type'o band Nightwish even is.

Duuuuuude.....I just thought'o something REALLY douchy that could happen to Mimics. Okay, imagine that life-size cardboard-cutouts were created in the MG-Verse. Can you imagine the extraordinary amounts of WTF on a Mimic's face when she pops out and grabs the cutout of a hunky man and ONLY when her chest locks up for good does she realize it's cardboard and not a man?

I imagine she would be very annoyed! I wouldn't like to be the man who came across her then.

When it's all said and done though. Treasure chests are too RPG-related. If a dude KNEW Mimics could exist, he'd pretty much steer clear of ANY chest even if he was dungeon-crawlin'.

But you can find some neat stuff in chests. It's worth the risk. Well-for me anyway. The Mimics aren't after me.

I like mimics, they're kinda cute and I'm sure the look on a guy's face must be priceless when the mimic jumps out at him.

I just hate the ones that seem to have the fighting strength of a boss-level enemy, yet are clearly present as a regular one.

All the Mimics I have caught have always given me good loot. They tend to have some good stuff.

and then proceed to investigate what has happened on the locked chest...

I wonder how a mimic would respond to that? Sure she's not a busty mamono like a holsty but she has something up there, and implying she doesn't...would a mimic shrug at that, or get defensive/angry, or laugh at it?

I think that would deal on her personality and disposition more than anything. Some would care, others won't.
