More or less Burst is Pokemon's version of Spirit Evolution from Digimon. I'm going to post some links below.

Is Pokemon ReBurst any good? I haven't read it and I would like to no.

Also hope Burst doesn't get added to the games, it doesn't make any sense to do so.

I haven't read much of it but what I did read was pretty good.

Nonsense... Why would Nintendo would censor a One Piece character, shame on you (That "scientist" looks like a One Piece's navy reject character) XD

Well putting "admiral dexter" ridiculous appearance aside for a while (Game Freak... You're doing it wrong... You should have used Jotaro as a base for your "oh so awesome" professor design, at least he's a scientist).

We have... Koalas... in Hawaii... Yay? Well, at least we know who will be our "derp mon" for Gen VII. Design wise, it's not a looker (not everyone can be a Furret after all), but hopefully it will have some redeeming points (Rattatta had Hyper Fang that made it fairly good at early and mid game, Sentret had Run Away (which is a blessing in Nuzlockes), Zigzagoon had Pick Up, Bidoof was the ULTIMATE HM slave and Bunnelby had Huge Power and access to STAB Earthquake once evolved)...
Hopefully this one will have something to remember it and not become a Patrat 2.0.

As for the puppy... I like the design, as it's actually quite cute (if only the starters were this cute...^^U), I just hope that it ends up being more similar to Lillipup line than Poochyena's in terms of usefulness though.

I think the puppy is the 'derp mon' of this generation, and the Koala looks like a fighting type to me - just with some really weird gimmick. Can't read Japanese so we'll have to wait to find out.

The dog is called Iwanko and is a rock type while the koala is a normal type with an immunity to all non-sleep status conditions and is called nekkoara

I wasn't expecting it to be a Rock type...
And truth to be told is not the best of types, plenty of weaknesses including some incredibly common typings like Fighting or Water and it doesn't look like it'll be a very sturdy mon (hopefully the final stage will solve that), not to mention that Rock type mons normally tend to have a pretty limited movepool.

I guess he can at the very least be useful on early game though.

New Zygarde stuff dropped today too.

Confirmed three new pokémon:

-Pikipek: Normal/Flying mon based after a woodpecker, most likely our early route mandatory flying mon.
-Yungoos: Normal type find on route 1, so most likely our early game derp mon for this edition (neither the puppy nor the koala were the derp it seems), its abilities seem pretty useful one being Stong Jaw and the other a new one that pretty much acts like the move pursuit.
-Grubbin: Pure bug type that pretty much will be our early game mandatory bug mon.

Popplio will be able to learn Disarming Voice (Confirmed Water/Fairy? If so I want my Fire/Poison kitty NOW).

Magerna will be Steel/Fairy and have a special oriented version of Moxie (Broken legendary...Yay...¬¬).

There will be a multiplayer mode known as Battle Royale where 4 players will be able to duke it out.

That woodpecker is kind of cute. Wonder how the evolves will look though.. >.<

Design-wise Pikipek is my favorite of the new pokemon reveals today, but as always the final evolution will be the deciding factor for me. Its design is darn near perfect for a woodpecker pokemon and being able to use Skill Link so early in the game should be fun.

Grubbin looks interesting, as perhaps it will be our first three stage beetle pokemon (assuming it has three stages like other early Bug types that start out as larva).

Yungoos... nice abilities but I can't handle those teeth. They are hilarious and disconcerting at the same time. I hope its evolution grows into them a bit.

I'm quite interested in that Battle Royale mode... And I see in the screenshot there that you clearly arn't stuck with the rooster hat. Yay customization!
