Nice though I can't see the first image. Glad to see you found Undertale love man. I also have an appreciation for Mettaton now. Hearing a remix of his song makes me want to pose GLAMOROUSLY. Also glad to see my actions with some monsters have an impact after the game.

Between that monster and the cactus at Toriel's home, it's clear Toby likes Tsunderes.

This game's so trope-heavy I sometimes wonder if Toby was writing the story while high on that one drug I always use; TvT.

Yeah Tsunderplane is amusing but the one who makes me crack up is Muffet. She has a catchy beat and flirts with you while pouring a cup of spiders.

Kinda figured it was a shout-out. Mettaton's personality is definitely a star worthy one though. He and Napstablook will achieve their goals with help and DETERMINATION!

Goodness gracious... of all the things that could happen to Undertale, the one I deemed as most improbable, actually happened....

Ben ''Yahtzee'' Crosshaw, best known as one of gaming's biggest critics, who'll often point out all the bad stuff in a game mercilessly and call even the best games shit, gave Undertale perhaps the best review he could ever give to a game!

His sole criticism was that the graphics were a bit too simple, but that's that. He even claims it managed to do something no game had done in years; to actually touch his ''Cold and Stony Heart'' in a way that actually moved in.
Seriously!

I still can't believe it....

And just a heads up. The 1 year anniversary of Undertale's release is Sept. 15. I'll be playing the game all the way through again on that day.

It's unbelievable how much of a cult hit it became in just a year. Also, it's soundtrack has reached Touhou-worthy levels of acclaim on YT, with a shitton of music videos, fan lyrics and even official remix albums...

I dunno if that's quite fair to say just yet. ZUN makes magic happen every year. Toby might turn out to be a one-hit wonder.

And that's perfectly fine of course. Toby left his mark on the world with a beautiful game. Most people can only do that once.

I've known few "ZUNs" growing up, like Rob Hubbard (a legend in his own right), so I'll need to hear a lot more to compare true video game music god music. Haven't heard the UT music yet though. Never knew it was a thing. Mostly hear people talking about the the "unique idea" of befriending monsters. A looooong time concept of all of ours!
