If you have some Bagon over there you would do me one heck of a favour there.
I tried finding one on Route 3 but its catch rate is ridiculously low (1%), and trying to ask for it in the GTS made incredibly salty as there between the people asking Ultra Beasts and Legendaries for it... and the moronic ones that asked...for a Shelgon (really? You can get one by evolving your friggin' Bagon).

If not... Don't worry though, once PokéBank works with Gen VII I'll be able to port myself one to Alola (as I have a few of them between my X and Alpha Sapphire saves).

.P.S.: I got a Mimikyu (or should I say Mimigma? German localization uses different names) and I gotta say that I'm almost tempted to use it...
Yea I gave up after an hour or so, but I hear you go back at a later time and the spawn rate raises to about 10%. Not sure if its true, oh and I caught a Mimikyu. Ill see what I can do about that Bagon.

I think that it's on a different route (same island though) and once you've gotten Alola's equivalent of Surf, I can always go there later in the game...At the very all that pointless search served me to level up my mon nicely to the trip to the second island (I have 8 or so mon between lvl. 17 and 24).

If you see it's much of a hassle, don't worry about it... Knowing I can get one way more easily kinda suffices for now (missing the early game Dragon Rage is a bummer though).
And Kaijin you are the "Perentie" of this place, IMO.

It does suck considering its (in my opinion) the only dragon type for a while. Currently I'm on Island 3 going to Team Skulls base, and I haven't seen another dragon to my knowledge.

Well there is Zygarde if you've collected enough cells for 10% forme, Trapinch (and thus eventually Flygon) in the Haina desert (only in rustling spots), Gabite in the Haina Desert (though only through SOS battles when a sandstorm is happening in the overworld), and Goomy in Lush Jungle (though it can only be found through SOS battles when it is raining in the overworld),

Zygarde is downright discarded as I've never liked using legendaries in my runs (only exception being when they're treated as HM Slaves like in my Alpha Sapphire save where I used a Latias as a flying and surfing slave).

Goomy might be an interesting choice, as I fully know how good this line is thanks my X save (Goodra is one heck of a special tank), but something tells me that it's gonna be really difficult to get them (and gimmicky to boot) not to mention how hard is to train one of them (they're pretty much liabilities until they hit lvl.40).

...So... Missing an early Bagon still hurts... And it was an incredibly dick move by Game Freak (1%...Really? Is Bagon the new Dunsparce now?), specially considering how easy was to catch one of them in X/Y (the same goes for Axew in that game).

.P.S.: As much as I love Flygon, I'll consider him if and only if it finally learns Dragon Dance via level up.
And Kaijin you are the "Perentie" of this place, IMO.

Spoiler: show
It does get Dragon Dance, though not by leveling up. Its one of those moves you need the move reminder for (unless its one of those "level 0" moves that are learned upon evolving regardless of level, haven't trained one yet myself so I'm not sure).
And as you noted earlier, Bagon gets fairly easy to catch once you get access to the ride Lapras.

Well...That's something, however its viability (in main game that is) depends on when you reach the move reminder. If it's late in the game by that point I may have either a better Dragon type, a better Ground type or even both (by the point I'm in the game I found another good Ground type and my second PERMANENT member of my team: Mudbray).

Same goes for Bagon, I don't know how, where and/or when you get "Surf" but Im afraid that I get it my team could be on their mid 30 to early 40 lvl. (at least) and training a lvl.15-18 Bagon (yeah, I've checked Kala'e Bay mon and levels) might be not worthy by then.
________

.P.S.: My team is something like this for the time being.

-Pikachu (I need a Thunder Stone and/or TM 24 ASAP)
-Mudbray
-Growlithe/Rockruff
-Fabiowl/Rufflet
-Dewpider/Crabrawler
-"Alolan" Grimer

For now only Pikachu (why must be Thunderbolt learnt at level 42?) and Mudbray are permanent choices for my team, the rest are placeholders until I find something better (for instance Golisopod will be my permanent choice for a Water type and I'm considering dropping the owl for either the already mentioned Prankster Whimsicott or for a Dhelmise...which seems more useful than the owl in nearly every aspect).
I'm also considering using the offspring of my Growlithe and Rockruff, Midday Lycanroc is fast, hits hard and could be a good sweeper with Sand Rush (which my female Rockruff will have once she evolves) besides it can learn both Fire and Thunder Fang from Growlithe/Arcanine.

.P.S.: I still fail to understand how Crabrawler/Crabominable is unable to learn either Mach Punch, Bullet Punch or both... It has a wide array of punching moves, it has Iron Fist as an ability... Heck it could seriously benefit from having a priority move (it would make it viable).

Did you catch a petalil yet? ^>^

Caught a Pokémon called Misdreavus last night, I never saw it before, but I think it's probably an older one? It's a surprisingly cute as a Ghost type, haha! I think I'll be using it for a while!

Yeah, Misdreavus is from Gen 2, and I'll see if I can find one as well.

Also, discovered you can change Oricorio's form by feeding it different nectar. Neat little trick there.

They're pretty easy to find actually.
They appear on Hauo'li Cemetery (at night only though) and there's a 20% chance of meeting one on the grass patches there.

Lucky ^^
If you can send me one (I don't have anything extraordinarily rare to exchange, although I do have an Alolan Golem I got from Wonder Trade) you would do me a favour there, and if possible give the critter a nickname (whatever strikes your fancy) as calling it Bagon feels pretty lacking ^^U

Its fine if you don't have anything rare to trade. I was planning on breeding Mimikyus and/or febbas to put them on the Wonder Trade to get them out there. If you want to trade me a Ratta or Golem its cool, but right now I'm trying to hatch the first Bagon egg. Nows the time for name suggestions.

Okay then, I'll see what I can give you then ^^
As for names... Fafnir for male or Tiamat for female would be good choices for a whelp I guess.

I had your egg and was playing at work when it hatched. I'm going to hatch you another one tonight so be ready sometime tomorrow for that Bagon.

All right, I'll try to keep in touch then (if by any circumstance I can't be around I'll let you know via PM).

.P.S.: I'm currently breeding Alolan Vulpix(es) (I got a Japanese one on Wonder Trade and I used it to breed me a male in order to try and pull off the Masuda method... Hooray for pokécest).
If anyone wants one just let me know.

I would be up for an Alolan Vulpix. :)
