With a mental sigh Asmund watched their opponents flee with their fallen pokemon. They had won the battle, but not without injury. They were battered, with Yuri's Murkrow unconscious but they had a breather now. He was about to speak his own words of consolation to Yuri when Reyn's voice called out. Both he and Beldum turned to the voice, the man letting out a sigh of exasperation and relief while Zelos scoffed. He gave a nod at the fellow prince's words.

"Indeed he would. Him showing up is also a good sign, if he has come back then that means he and Nate have likely found Sir Kanbei and beaten back what forces they encountered. I'm sure he'll explain once we bring him back, it should be a moral booster if anything else." He looked to Edea.

"We'll be back soon. " Looking to Zelos he made a jerk with his head. "Let's be off then." With that he darted of with a light jog, Beldum easily keeping up beside him.

[Heero]

Gabriel frowns in thought after hearing nate explain about other kingdoms that have fallen. Now a bit worried that his home kingdom might be targeted for an attack.
" we need to come together and form a strategy for when they come back and i believe they will and with greater force. We cannot allow this kingdom to fall like wattray and steelfist."

with everything that has happened, Ivadi and Zeke ponders everything so far, what is the end goal of these attackers and how will they do it? if they want to strike they might do so when everyone has lowered their guards, a split push might be the best bet for these assailants he guessed

[Drack]

Nate, Gabriel, and Ivadi:

As Nate reveals the apparent fate of Steelfist, Cassandra's body tenses up against his hold "I-I refuse to believe my homeland could fall to these fools....I'll find out for my self!" She shouts in denial.

Kanbei hangs his head "Lady Cassandra, I know you are upset but we must move; every second we have now is precious now before our attackers return, all of you young warriors should seek refuge in our castle while we form a plan of attack, running off now would lead to your certain capture, even as resolute as you are you cannot hope to push past all of them on your own."

Cassandra clenches her fists as Kanbei speaks as he finishes she lets out a deep sigh "Mrgrgr, fine I will stay. Let's go."

With no one else having anything to add the group return the front of the castle Kanbei then shouts as to alert the people inside "Everyone, we have returned after accessing the situation are back to form a battle plan."

From beyond the gate you hear Graham of Wattray call out and as he speaks you can hear what sounds like heavy objects being pushed around "Y-yes some of us have been watching from the windows so we know you are not fakes...we are removing the barricade now." Soon after the doors are pushed open to let all of you inside. Once inside the main hall you the staff without Pokemon huddled together for safety as there other heirs a the few staff members that do have Pokemon are in defensive positions in preparation of a possible attack, and all of them share a sigh of relief as the group enters.

The female heir partnered with a Trapinch steps up to your group "Ha, you all that battled really knocked those jerks on their rears out there..." She says in a cheerful mood in an attempt to lighten things up, however Cassandra has little patience and pushes past her with here sights set on Graham.

"Graham, we need to talk...it's only fair that I tell you after all it is a fate we both share, from the information Nate gathered from a prisoner it seems that Palette isn't the only kingdom to have this treatment from these invaders. Apparently both of our homes have fallen to this fiends." Cassandra says in a sorrowful tone.

The others gasp in shock at this revelation, except for Graham who simply crosses his arms and looks to be in deep thought...he then looks back up speaks "The odds of an invading army taking Wattray so quickly seem improbable, due to the fact Wattray has it's own natural defense and the fact so far these foe's haven't shown any impressive fighting skill they are on par with most of us...perhaps a bit under some of us even; it just doesn't add up unless they received assistance from within."

Meanwhile, one of the maids approaches Gabriel and Ivadi "Um, excuse me but it appears your Pokemon are poisoned...I-I think there might be some Pecha Berries in the food pantry back in the dining hall."

Asmund:

Zelos follows along trailing along behind you and Beldum, as Lotad clings to it's partners left shoulder in favor of jogging on it's own. The two of you make your way along soon approaching where the voice came from to find Reyn and his partner Heracross. Reyn appears to be looking inside the windows of a home as Heracoss keeps an eye out, The pokemon quickly notices you and lets out a happy cry getting the attention of it's partner who meets up with you.

"Well-well, I didn't take you for a for the kind of person who gawk into stranger's homes...I thought they had better manners in Arachnis." Zelos says in an amused tone as he teases Reyn.

"W-what, that's not it...I was looking to see if anyone needed rescued, but no matter how much I yell no one comes out of hiding." Reyn says putting his hands behind his head in a lax nature.

"Obviously, outsiders trapped them and are attacking the village, and you an outsider is running around yelling and looking into people's homes. It's no wonder people are less than trusting of you, for all they know you could be a part of the invaders trying to trick them."

"I hadn't thought of that...that reminds me though, I should tell you two how me and Nate's run to the castle went. When we arrived some of the others alongside Kanbei were confronting the invaders at the castle. They tried to shake Kanbei's will by trying to say they captured Edea, however we stopped that farce in it's tracks. They called in some reinforcements with Mightyena to battle Kanbei, however a trainer with a Spinda assisted him and they had the upper hand when Nate suggested I head back to assist all of you."

Finding Reyn and Heracross hadn't been difficult, nor was it hard to heckle their fellow prince as Zelos just proved. Asmund had a good chuckle at the exchange. Hearing that they had found Sir Kanbei alive and well, and the recount of events sobered the Metalnian quickly. He gave a nod after mention of the trainer with the Spinda.

"Hmm, if they felt that they had the situation under control we'll have to trust their judgment. Nonetheless, it's good that you were sent to us, we could use an extra pair of hands..." he cast a quick glance at Heracross. "make that 2. After Nate and yourself set off to the castle we continued on with the prisoner, soon meeting up with Zelos and Lotad. Just like you we noticed the empty streets as we made our way. We were able to get some more info out of the prisoner but were soon ambushed by another group in front of the training school and a battle ensued." There was barely a pause before the man continued.

"For the most part it went well for us, except for Yuri's Murkrow being knocked out near the end, and once defeated the cowards ran. Right now Princess Edea and the others are helping keep watch over some civilians while we bring you back with us. Once we get back we'll need your help moving the non-combatants and their partners to the castle for healing." He took a breath, feeling as if he hadn't taken a moment to pause in explaining. Rolling his shoulder Asmund jerked his back the way Zelos and he had come from, before turning in that direction. He took a few steps then looked back at Reyn and Zelos.

"Come one my friends, we mustn't tarry. We may have a peaceful reprieve now but that can still change quickly." With that he set off on a jog once more, coat billowing in his wake as Beldum floated along at the same pace.

[Nexous]

I follow everyone inside. I then listen to Gram's assessment. "So you think there could be people infiltrating the other kingdoms too?"

[Heero]

Gabriel smiles at the maid and nods his head, "much appreciated miss." and walks toward the pantry. Graham is right these fools didn't seem like much of a threat...unless they sent their weaker minions on us and had their more skilled and powerful out to conquer our lands..
after reaching the pantry and finding the pecha berry and giving it to Deino he walks back to the group and says "Maybe this group is more powerful than we think. what if they sent out the most skilled and powerful trainers to overtake our homelands and used the weaker minions as a distraction?"

"THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" Ivadi said as he carried Zeke in his arms as he ran to get a pecha berry to feed to Zeke, he sighs as he also feeds him an oran berry (if there is any nearby) for good measure, heading back he hears Gabriels suggestion "I think that's a likely case, in that case we might have to fight back and take our lands back one by one." he said

[Drack]

Gabriel and Ivadi:

Zeke and Deino both eat a Pecha Berry curing them of their poison. Zeke also finds and eats a Oran Berry restoring some of its health (+10 HP).

Nate, Gabriel, and Ivadi:

"If we have to fight back to retake everyone's homes count me in, and when we get to Steelfist I will personally evict them all myself." Cassandra says cracking her knuckles with a scowl "I'll show them what happens when you underestimate myself and the people of Steelfist."

"Wait, so you mean invaders like the ones here could be in my home going through all of my things?!" Olivia shouts getting face to face with Graham while she tightly holds onto her Vulpix.

Graham nervously takes a step back "U-um, I can't say for certain at this point, but so far it seems to be the case." He clears his throat regaining his composure "However, if we believe that it only raises more questions; like how large is the forces of our foe...taking all of our homes at once is no small feat, the manpower involved would be staggering. This leads me to believe that perhaps some of the the nations have united together to conquer the others."

Peter speaks up standing alongside his Foongus in an angered tone "Are you trying to imply that one or more of us in here could be working for the enemy!?"

"I-I'm not sure yet...we still don't have enough information yet to say for sure. All we can do now is guess at how bad our situation is." Graham says in defense.

The trainer partnered with Trapinch speaks up "Well you don't have to worry about me being a traitor. To be honest, I don't really understand what's going on." She says with a shrug.

Asmund:

The two both give a silent nod and follow suit and it isn't long before you make your way back towards the others. As you approach you see a man who looks slightly younger than Kanbei with sandy blonde hair accompanied by a Spinda has arrived and is currently talking with Edea, as the rest of the group tend to the students and their Pokemon "Hey, that's the man who assisted Kanbei that I told you about earlier."

As the three of you approach Edea notices you and waves the three of you and your Pokemon over. "Good to see you found Reyn safely. This is Maxwell who is teacher at the trainer school and he's here to help us.

Reyn gives Maxwell a nod "Right, we've been somewhat introduced."

Maxwell crosses his arms "That is true, but we don't have the luxary of time at the moment so I suggest we all work to move my wounded students and their Pokemon."

[Creator_Drake]

Once they had returned Asmund easily spotted the man Reyn had spoken about. With long strides Asmund quickly walked up to Edea and Maxwell, given them both a nod.

"Hm, I agree. Thankfully there seems to be enough people here both your students and their partners. Not to mention some our own partners are large enough to give a hand as well." He stretched his neck, feeling a few satisfying cracks from the motion.

"Let's get to it then." Turning he walked to one of the students, a younger boy with a bandaged arm and leg, a worried Ratata at his side. Asmund knelt beside the boy.

"Are you able to stand my friend?"

"I'll be fighting alongside all of you, Zeke and I give you our word." he said as he and Zeke bowed deeply to the others as he nods "what should we do now? talk to a leader and get more information? work out a strategy?" he suggested

[Nexous]

I turn to the girl with the Trapinch "Don't worry, nobody is accusing you Ms... I'm sorry I don't think I caught your name." After giving her time to introduce herself, and introducing myself in turn I return my attention to the rest of the heirs. (Good thing I went back and checked I was about to drop some knowledge from a post to someone else) "I don't think any of us are involved. So far I've seen save for one dark type trainers. Ashley, the Varlox princess was not only equally shocked, but proved a pivotal roll in foiling Edea's kidnapping. Furthermore I don't think any of the parents, treacherous as they may be, would send a crowned prince, or princess here with knowledge that could cost them their lives. Even if the plan failed, and and they are executed for war crimes their child would be ignorant, and innocent for all wrong doing thus insuring their continued bloodline." I turn Graham specifically.(Who's name I still don't know.) "Doesn't that sound right? Oh, I'm Nate by the way." I hold out my hand to shake his.

[Heero]

Gabriel turns toward nate "thats what a treacherous pixie prince would say. The first time we met you challenged me knowing full well that i would wipe the floor with your pitiful excuse for a pokemon."

[Nexous]

I walk over to Gabriel. "I can tolerate you talking about me, or even my Kingdom, but I will NOT stand that talk about my friend." I say as I swing on him. (Up to DM if sucker punch lands)

Seeing the two princes fight and argue like this despite what's going on, Ivadi and Zeke can only stare at them with a judging look. ["really? those two are going to fight with each other even KNOWING the possible threat that's going on? if things can easily derail like this for us then our enemies will have an easy time to defeat us when it goes down."] he stays quiet though as he wants to focus on the more pressing matters at hand

[Drack]

Nate, Gabriel, and Ivadi:

"Ha, Mia's the name I didn't think anyone was ever going to ask." The Terra warrior first says in a joking tone as Nate introduces himself, Graham mulls over Nate's words for a moment before Gabriel chimes in and the whole scenario begins to quickly dissolve. However, just before things come to blows Kanbei intervenes grabbing Nate's arm before he has a chance to strike Gabriel.

"ENOUGH!!" The veteran warrior lets out a bellowing shout "If the two of you continue to squabble I will lock both of you away myself. Right now we are at war with these invaders and if anything the son of Wattray has speculated is true then if we fall here none of you have a home to run back to...this is our one chance to push back and I will not have the two of you ruin it by placing a wedge between yourself and your fellow heirs, for if we do not stand united then we have no chance of succeeding."

Graham steps us standing beside Gabriel "It's alright sir Kanbei there is no need to go that far yet, I can go with Gabriel to the other side of the castle to allow tempers to die down...we can rejoin once you have formed a battle plan and see how things fare then."

Asmund:

"T-thanks, I think so..." The the wounded trainer says as he wearily gets to his feet with your assistance, his worried partner circles around the both of you every few to check on it's trainer's well being. Soon after Ashely, Edea, Reyn and the others get all of the wounded civilians and their Pokemon up and settled. Maxwell takes the lead as he carries a wounded student "Alright, we might not have long to get everyone to the castle, so I will take the lead while Spinda scouts ahead. Now, is anyone's Pokemon free to keep watch behind the party?"

"Umm, we would but Heracross is a bit busy." Reyn says as he carries a student while Heacross assists the trainer's Lickitung.

Ashley chimes in "I can have Sneasel scout behind to make sure we aren't being followed." With that she gives a nod to her partner who scurries off to the nearby rooftops to keep watch.

Ivadi simply watches and takes their advice he knows that things don't need to be said at this point as he looks at Zeke "wanna train?" he asked as Zeke nods. with that the two bow to the group before heading off to find a good area to train

[Creator_Drake]

Asmund perks up as he helps the wounded student to his feet. He turns to look at Ashley.

"My partner can help with that, keep a wider area under watch." Looking at Beldum the Metalnian jerks his head towards the roofs, the metal pokemon bobbing a nod before floating to a roof across the street. Asmund looked at Maxwell.

"They should keep us covered for now as we move. Best we start, sooner we can get to the castle the better we can prepare for our next move." He looked down toward the circling Rattata.

"Here now little one, why not climb on my shoulder? You'll be able to keep an eye on your partner while getting a lift at the same time. What do you say?"

[Nexous]

"Stop" I say as Graham begins to lead Gabriel off. "Before you go to be alone with him I want you to think about this. His Pokemon is a dark type like the others belonging to the invaders, furthermore you have done nothing, but try to spark hostility with me." I address Kanbei. "Despite my anger can you honestly tell me my words don't have Merit? Who can account for his actions throughout the previous day since we all went our separate ways? How do we know you haven't been relaying messages to the Invaders?" I turn towards Ivadi. " With my peace said mind if we join you to train?"

hearing Graham's request Ivadi smiles "we'd be delighted to." he said as Zeke nods
