Gabriel glares at nate " just because pokemon happen to be a dark type doesn't mean im with the invaders and furthermore graham has been with me the entire day along with several other heirs who can attest that i have been fighting valiently against them. It is you who hasnt been accounted for during the attack."

[Nexous]

"Edea will vouch for me." I say as I follow Ivadi to where we will be training.

it was out back where he stood with Zeke he looks at "Sir Nate you know that wasn't very nice or wise to simply accuse another prince based on the type they come from or with the lack of concrete proof." he said to him "pokemon of ALL type have the capacity for good or evil, your type could very well be a part of the invaders team as mine could. i think you and Gabriel need to apologize."

[Nexous]

"Keep in mind he accused me first unprovoked. He is sewing hostilities in a situation where none was called for, and he insulted Athena he called her worthless! You should be equally hurt your partner is also a Ralts." I think about it for a second. "I will however apologize to his pokemon. It's not his fault his partner is an arse."

[hothead1021]

"Good, also Zeke and I don't take his words to heart, he was merely disturbed by the actions of the invaders and it made him wary of all of us because we have just met and have not established a connection with him yet. We can forgive him for his misconduct once. but I will give him a talking to if he continues that behavior. I just wish to make sure we are not divided before we even fight the invaders." he said smiling warmly

[Drack]

Gabriel:

Kanbei let's out a loud annoyed grunt as Nate and Ivadi leave. "That's enough of that...I won't tolerate any more infighting, if anyone would like to help form a battle plan then your welcome to follow me." He then gruffly makes his way towards the throne room. Victor, Aidan, Maru, and Olivia all follow him then Peter, Cassandra, and Mia head to where Nate and Ivadi went.

Graham stands with you as everyone else leaves "Well...that was eventful, from now on please refrain from fighting with the Pixie prince for now we must avoid infighting for now even if you don't like him."

Soon after there is a loud knock at the castle gate with a familiar voice calling out calling out "Open, we have some wounded civilians and Pokemon and need assistance."

Graham thinks about if for a moment before calling out "How do we know this isn't a trap?"

Then a female voice calls out as well "Well, I'm here as well it's me Edea...you'll let us in now won't you?""

Graham thinks for a moment then opens the gate letting Edea, Maxwell, Asmund and the others inside.

Nate and Ivadi:

As the two of you talk you make your way to the ruined dining room where Ivadi battled earlier. The two of you are then joined by Peter, Cassandra, and Mia with Cassandra speaking up "Gabriel was right you know, he was with me and Graham last night, and this morning...he may be a bit of a jerk, but he hasn't done anything do draw concern yet."

Mia sighs putting her arms behind her head "Aww, enough of that negative stuff you guys stepped away to train right so let's train lets make it a double battle." Her Trapinch lets out a happy growl

Cassandra hangs her head "I'll pass, in the mood Riolu and myself are in we might do something we regret later." She then sits down with Riolu "I will watch though."

Peter then steps up "I'll battle then, and I'll team up with Ivadi...to see what your capabale of prince of Pixie." His Foongus stands next to him resolute and ready to battle.

Asmund:

The Rattata pauses for a moment before following your advice climbing onto your shoulder and you and the others continue to make your way towards the castle lucky with no further trouble, and you soon arrive at the castle gate and Maxwell knocks on the gate "Open, we have some wounded civilians and Pokemon and need assistance."

There is a pause before a voice calls out "How do we know this isn't a trap?"

Edea steps up "Well, I'm here as well it's me Edea..you'll let us in now won't you?"

There is another pause before the gate opens and you are greeted by Graham and Gabriel.

Feeling the small purple rodent climb up Asmund began guiding the wounded student forward, making the slow trek to the castle. Thankfully nothing of note happened, the group moving without interruption.

When the group reached the main gates Asmund called to Beldum with a short whistle, the small silver mon moving from the rooftops the rejoin the group below.

Seeing the door finally opened the Metalnian breathed a small sigh of relief but stayed focus.

"Lady Edea, Sir Maxwell, once we've gotten inside, where in the castle would be the best place to take the wounded for recovery?" He spoke loud enough only for them to hear. He knew they were still out in the open, and while he didn't wish to come off as impatient the sooner they could drop off the wounded the sooner they could find Sir Kanbei, relay important information to him and help plan their next move.

Which reminded him. He cast a glance at their prisoner, though the man seemed far more subdued now that he had bee left for rot. The sooner they moved the better. Time was of the essence.

[Nexous]

I let Cassandra's words pass finally letting Kenbie's words sink in about me being put in a cell. I nod when Mia suggests a double battle. "That sounds fun. If it was a one on one I'd have to refrain from using my warrior ability. Too much of an advantage." When the teams were decided I went to my side of the room with Mia. "I hate to say this, but the Foongus will the bigger threat. I suggest focusing on that. Athena use confusion Foongus!"

[Heero]

Gabriel nods listening to his friend, "Yes your right Graham, as much as it pains me to be near that insufferable person i will keep uphold and respect the honor that kanbei has here."

at that more people at the gate arrive with injured and he and Graham escort them in, "Where you able to drive the invaders back?"

Ivadi and zeke grin "we all look forward in seeing what you all can do." he said as they both personally bow to each of the participats

[Drack]

Asmund:

Edea and Maxwell both listen to you and Maxwell speaks up keeping his voice down as well "To be honest the guest quarters where each of you stayed would be most ideal place to let them rest, I doubt any of the others would object." With that Maxwell begins to lead the group inside and Beldum returns to your side along with Sneasel to Ashley's side.

As you move you hear Reyn talking with Gabriel "Yeah, it was a long road...first they tried to kidnap Edea while we were in the woods, but we sent them packing. After that, Nate and myself went ahead to give Kanbei information from this prisoner which led to our meet up in the castle courtyard, and afterwards I ran back to help again, and well now here we are."

Once inside the main hall waiting members of the staff rush to aid with the wounded. A young maid with long pink hair and a Chansey take wounded boy and his Rattata from you to give them treatment. Once all the wounded are moved Maxwell then turns his attention to the prisoner "Alright, I suppose not it's time to deal with you, come on Kanbei will want to hear from you. Also, if anyone would rather help with the wounded it's fine go with the staff...Kanbei and myself are just going to have a chat with this nice fellow and then form an defense plan." Maxwell clasps his right hand on the prisoner's shoulder causing the invader to shudder for a moment however he remains silent accepting his fate, and Spinda relieves Swinub of it's watch over Sableye.

Heather speaks up picking up her partner Aipom "I'll help with the wounded, Aipom and myself have no real experience battling so I couldn't be much help, hospitably is my real skill so I'll do what I can to make there recovery easier."

Yuri also speaks up in a somber tone "I'll go too, perhaps they might be able to help Murkrow."

Gabriel:

The group steps inside the main hall and Reyn answers you "Yeah, it was a long road...first they tried to kidnap Edea while we were in the woods, but we sent them packing. The waitress from the tavern last night speaks up, picking up her partner Aipom "I'll help with the wounded, Aipom and myself have no real experience battling so I couldn't be much help, hospitably is my real skill so I'll do what I can to make their recovery easier."

The Skywing heir also speaks up in a somber tone holding her unconscious partner "I'll go too perhaps they might be able to help Murkrow."

Nate and Ivadi:

Mia and Peter both bow respectfully to Ivadi and as everyone prepares to battle Mia speaks up with a puzzled expression "Are we really going to battle here in the dinner hall. I mean I get it's already tore up, it just feels odd is all..."

Cassandra speaks up as she sits down on the ground along the wall with Riolu on her lap "They wouldn't want you outside right now it might draw in another ambush, so this is likely your best place to train."

The others give her a nod and the battle starts with Nate moving first. Athena uses a mild psychic attack on Foongus for super effective damage (-14 Hp).

"Zeke use Confusion on Trapinch." he said ordering him to attack making the second move

Asmund passed the wounded student to the pink haired maid with a Chansey partner, giving her a nod in thanks. He watched as the staff helped the wounded for a moment before turning to Maxwell and Sir Kanbei.

"If you would have me I would like to aid in the defence talks, I need only grab some things from my room. I will be only a moment." With a quick bow Asmund moved quickly to his temporary quarters, Beldum following alongside. Everyone in the main hall would see the Metalnian turn into his room and remain there for a few minutes. When he exited he no longer bore his coat but rather a simple leather vest over top a shirt of chain mail.

On his forearms were studded leather bracers with the symbol for Metalnia emblazoned on their centres. On the left arm Asmund carried a small buckler shield, emblazoned like his bracers. At his side he carried a battle hammer, slightly smaller in width than the shield and emblazoned on the slanted edges. The handle was long enough to be wielded with 2 hands if need be, with a leather loop at the pummel.

The Metalnian held a serious look in his gaze, marching forward with purpose, hammer secured at his side. All the same, he make sure not to get in the staffs way as he walked forward. Beldum had not changed, it had simply followed its human partner down the hall. Coming to a stop before Maxwell and Sir Kanbei, Asmund made another slight bow.

"Asmund Aradace of Metalnia, ready to serve alongside the good people of Palette in this time of need."

[Heero]

Gabriel stands for a moment thinking what he should do. after a moment he jogs over to mavwell and kanbei, "hey guys i would like to contribute to the questioning of our prisoner, i'm curious as to what he has to say...plus he may talk with more people and pokemon to intimadate with."

[Nexous]

(Due to spacing of posts I'm speaking as though this is before the attack took place.)
I bow also when I see the others bow. I look around when Mia mentions this being a kitchen. "This was a kitchen?! Everything is all destroyed!" When Cassandra speaks I nod, and declare my attack. I then turn to her. "Cassandra I've been thinking. The types of pokemon used in the invasion here that I've seen are Dark, Poison, and Ghost. I know your people would run rough shot on at least dark type, but poison, and ghost would prove more challenging. I would like to offer my services when retaking your kingdom. Once Athena learns a Fairy move we will have covered your weaknesses in these three, and you cover ours." I smile at her. "I know we didn't exactly get off on the right foot, but I assure you when I called you Spitfire I meant it in only the best way. You were confidant, and had a fierce warriors temper. Those are some traits I would like to see you have back."

[Drack]

Gabriel:

Maxwell leads the rest of you to the throne room while Asmund gets ready once inside you see Victor, Aidan, Maru, and Olivia along side Kanbei as they stand around a large table looking at what appears to be a map of Palette. Kanbei looks up noticing your group "Lady Edea! I am so glad to see you and the others safe and sound." He walks up to her placing a hand on her shoulder.

"They held themselves pretty well, not only did they protect my students they managed to capture one of the invaders." Maxwell says happily.

Once you speak up about interrogating the invader he speaks up "Don't waste your breath...I know there is no place for me back with the Empire now that I have been caught so I might as well talk...I'm done for either way."

Asmund:

After you change you step into the throne room and see everyone gathered around along with some of the other heirs as Kanbei seems relieved to see Edea safe. Once you approach and speak both men give you a nod. Edea speaks up noticing your change in attire "Oh, Asmund you look really ready to battle." She says surprised.

Asmund and Gabriel:

Kanbei looks around at the group "Alright, now that everyone is here we can begin the defense plans. Thanks to Team Echo we have a shot at gathering our lost Militia, The leader of Echo sent her Staravia out to recall our forces and undo the damage the invader's imposter did, while they scout out the extent of the damage their sabotage has caused."

Maxwell crosses his arms and rubs his chin in thought "Not bad, we definitely have a shot of success now...if even a quarter of the Militia return I think we can win a head on assault, Thanks to me and Kanbei's secret battle technique."

Zelos looks puzzled as Lotad perches itself on his shoulder "What do you mean secret technique?"

Maxwell grins "Ha, if we told all of you that it wouldn't be a secret. You'll know it if you see it and you may even pity our foes. Last time we used it we managed to overpower our lord's partner Pokemon in an practice battle."

Kanbei lets out an amused huff "That's fine in all, but there is more to victory than raw power..." He then turns his attention to the prisoner who is just staring at the ground. Kanbei then grunts loudly getting his attention then he points to a nearby chair to make the invader sit down, as the invader complies Kanbei speaks again "Now, there are a few simple things I want to know: Who do you and your companions work for, why are they attempting to conquer Palette, and how did you somehow capture the neighboring kingdoms of Steelfist and Wattray, and if that is true are there any more kingdoms being targeted?"

Nate and Ivadi:

Cassandra looks at Nate for a moment after his suggestion and apology "Hmph, I suppose I can forgive you...and your offer does make sense. If we survive the upcoming battle I wouldn't oppose to your assistance." She says crossing her arms and looking away for a moment.

Zeke uses a mild psychic attack on Trapinch damaging it (-7 Hp).

Peter and Foongus move next and Foongus eats it's equipped Oran Berry (+10 Hp) "This is far from over Foongus use Body Slam on the foe Ralts." He then activates his Warrior skill Added Bonus Increasing the probability of inflicting status ailments on enemies for 3 turns. Foongus then charges forward and slams into Athena landing critical damage (-16 Hp), However Athena does not suffer paralysis.

Mia and Trapinch attack next "Alright, this is getting exciting Trapinch use Bug Bite on Foongus." Trapinch then lunges forth and chomps down on the foe Pokemon damaging it (-8 Hp).

Giving a nod in return Asmund makes his way to stand beside Edea. Seeing a spot before him on the table the Metalnian unstraps the war hammer and places it before him, handle pointing to the ceiling. Crossing his arms he turns to look at the Palette Princess from her comment.

"For battle we shall soon be in. Originally I simply wished to display the works of my kingdom for further contracts with the newer generation. Now though it appears that it will get its first taste of battle, unfortunately." He tunes in to Kanbei as the man speaks with everyone at the table. He nodded along as Kanbei and Maxwell as they brought forth some good news before calling the prisoner over.

The questions asked were routine in Asmund's mind and while he had questions of his own, the Metalnian would keep his piece until he had a bit more information to go on.

[Nexous]

I smile at Cassandra. "Well in that case I would suggest biding your anger, and training with someone. You and Rilu should seek to grow stronger, and retake your home." As Athena takes a critical hit I swear under my breath. "I was hoping to get through this without activating my own warrior skill. I've depended upon it in all my battles thus far. Very well Athena we will let this be part of our challenge. I won't depend on my ability for this battle instead I'll trust your might! Now, lets finish that Foongus with this next attack, use Confusion!"

[Heero]

Gabriel crosses his arms and huffs in disappointment, "well damn...arn't you a party pooper." then he wonders what tech. kanbei has and makes a mental note to find out about it one way or the other. then focuses on kanbei as he questions him.
