Mud wasp is coming on quite nicely, in the picture she has just picked up a basket of clay mud and is preparing to take it home.

So, I notice something... that bit that's connecting her abdomin to her body... doesn't it seem a little thin? Just feels like it could break fairly easily.

They can lift and control it like a very stiff tail.

She's adorable! I appreciate that you're going the extra mile to base her off a specific type of wasp, rather than just a generic bee/wasp type of insect girl.

It's how I like to do things. The bee girl which is still incoming will be this one

She is not based off a specific bee, but rather a Greek myth and her kind are called the melissae.

In the time of ancient Greece, and particularly in the temples of Artemis, Aphrodite, Demeter but also of Cybele, Diana and Rhea, priestesses were called the Melissae, which translates as ‘the bees.’ The Goddess as the Great Mother was sometimes titled Melissa, literally, ‘the Queen Bee.’ Some classical sources describe these priestesses as young and virgin, others tell us the designation of Melissae was a title of honor, bestowed due to devotion and labor for the Great Mother by a certain individual, which was above and beyond the ordinary.

So the epithet of Bee in ancient Greece, applied not only to priestesses, prophetesses, or Goddesses like Demeter and Artemis - it was also bestowed upon poets, musicians, artists and philosophers - anyone touched in some way by divine inspiration.

The melissae are one of the inventors in my setting mostly due to what it says about them in the original myth.

Here is Yuki Onna who was chosen by popular demand on my discord server.

I'm going more for the original yuki onna description of having dark hair and blue white skin. She has a more motherly or wifey figure and will have a plait over her shoulder. As with all Zipanguese mamonme her eyes are more almond shaped.

She's a personal favorite of mine.

Thank you everyone! My first introduction to yuki onna was in the anime Inuyasha in episode 101. Since there have been many different versions of her, I wanted to do my own take on her, while following the original descriptions. Interestingly there are a few different versions of the original myth

Serebim or the daughters of Seretique. While reasonably powerful, they could easily be put over the knee of a mamonme queen and given a hiding. Their wings and tail are typically mauve with black fingers. THere is still a lot of stuff that needs adding to, such as her clothing, and jewellery, but I am happy with her pose and appearance otherwise.

They are a flower type that look almost like harpies as they are known as the bird of paradise flower

They typically have orange hair with blue variations, but can also be found with white and even red hair with purple variations

So I have been working on the Serebim for a while as she won by popular poll a while back. I am really happy with how she's turning out! What do you think?
