Ah, so you draw in Sai, it does look somewhat similar to photoshop. Looks good, can't wait to see how the pic turns out.

I used to draw in photoshop and I found shading in SAI is easier.

Very nice man, I love the hair colours!!

Water, is not too hard, just pick cold pale blue colours, add a bit of greens and layer them with opacity over each other with swirls and waves, adding slight sparkle on the top and a few touches of blurred in colours picked from her body for reflections.

Starting on Salamander, then I realized. "Is the spike on her arm part of her armor or it is part of her arms" and then I submit the question to kenkou and hope she will asking it for me.

I think that it is part of her, because her armour is part of her. I remember reading somewhere that their armoured scales can disappear at will, there were even pictures of mermaids and Dragons with their scales gone around their legs and nether regions to accommodate for "safer" sex so they don't cut up their lover by accident.

I doubt it, because the armour have rope on it which mean it has to be taken off during washing.

Sorry that this post isn't a new picture, I am just finished Max Payne 3 on Medium and begin to colour the salamander.

I must say, your digital coloring skill is already VERY good. The lizard(wo)man image has a good 3D feel to it, and doesn't seem flat at all. Have you been studying human anatomy? ^^ She came out very bright and colorful, I like it. Overall the picture looks very good, I think the only way that you could improve this piece would be to fix her eye alignment, because they look a bit too close together.
