The only exception is when Ditto is involved, due to it being genderless and the child ends up being the lowest level of the male parent. It's pretty useful, since it's the only way to breed the male species only Pokémon (such as Tauros)

Example:

(Male only species)
+ (Universal breeding stock in the Pokéworld)
= (Same species as the father)

Anyway... Did they add new Pokémon species to this game? I've seen screen and videos of other region Pokémon being native to Teselia/Unova/Isshu but... other than Kyurem forms I haven't seen brand new Pokémon...

I think just about everyone knows Iris is the champ with all the BW2 spoilers going around. -_- I wasn't too surprised..but still the spoiler caught me off guard too.

Well you start as a new character so yeah you'll have to catch them all again. But you do some different choices than in Black and White.

Hmmm, new Pokemon is the main drive for me, that's disappointing.

Well the furst major area has a lot of Pokemon from older gens. Also I really love the way Toxic Badge looks.

And they got rid of the godawful rival battle music. Thank god.
