Both of them are based on the same mythological character: the most famous and most well known kitsune in Japanese Folklore, Tamamo No Mae (even though the Type Moon version is closer to Amaterasu than Tamamo herself).

Anyway... back to topic...
Tamamo, one of few good ends you can stumble in the whole game and one of the cutest characters in the whole encyclopaedia... Not to mention that I love those fluffy huggable tails <3
