Hmm, that's quite an interesting thought. It would be east to understand if a Holsty didn't ate beef or if an Orc didn't ate pork. But, would that also mean that plant MGs don't eat veggies or that aquatic MGs don't eat fish?

Fish being eaten by mermaids would be normal. Plants wouldn't eat plants though. Kinda think they might frown at you eating their less sentient counterparts but not much to worry about.

The holsty meat idea was actually from two things: An old discussion I recall from MGU when someone was concerned whether or not an MG would be offended seeing someone eating subspecies of themselves. This type of debate would be similarily seen with "What the hell the characters in pokemon get meat from?".

Good point, it would probably vary from person to person. I personally get nauseated when I watch people ripping legs off of a chicken and chomping on the wings (and other parts) so voraciously. My own family would have to mostly all be chicken lovers too.. But yea, it would probably vary, some Holts may not care while others may be offended or disturbed that their man eats something that's similar to their other half.

It would depend on the type and family of monster girl. For example, should
a vulture MG be created, she won´t mind feeding on any kind of flesh.

A Baphomet doesn´t mind carrying the skull of her bestial form as part of her
wear, which probably might have eaten as her profile indicates that she eats
and prefers the flesh of wild beasts.

The strange thing is that monster girls do not prey on each other even when
the monsters they are based on would do. For example, Mantises should be
the terror of all insect kind; even devil bugs would be deadly as aside from humans
they are stated to feed on anything edible. The latter´s preference for dirty
things could potentially mean that Zombies could be turned into a potential meal....

Fungi feed on other plants in a parasitic way, so why Matangos would miss
an opportunity to taste the sweet nectar of Alraunes and nutrients of Dryads?
Furthermore, by merging with them in a Siamese way, they could increase
the effectiveness of their steady Spore Apocalypse World Domination Tactic...

If monster girls of a same species are as varied in disposition as most people claim they are,
specially after the release of the chef Ushi-oni, then all these would depend on a case by
case basis. For example, RL Humans eat different things across the globe, ranging from cows
and pigs on the west to bugs and animals normally regarded as pets on other parts of the world.
And yes, humans do eat monkeys on some parts of Asia and Africa (their brains at least).

The same could be applied to monster girls, specially if the latter are so willing to
become one sole species with humans...
