I love it. Just wish War of the Roses (my favorite of the two, historically accurate and authentic) had chivalies melee animation, whic WoR is lacking with its floatiness.
In turn I also which Chivalry had WoR archery dynamics, which Chivalry is lacking with the rather huge reticile and smoothless animation.
I wish WoR had Chivalries game mode and scenarios.

Then they both would be what I was looking for. For such a long time...

Chivalry being 1st person is rather fun due to it's sheer brutality and the fact that there are decapatation physics; which pretty much shows you an idea of how gritty medieval warfare really was.

I wouldn't say it is realistic though due to the fact the game takes place in a fictional setting and some of the weapons never existed. You should play War of the Roses if you want realism across the board.

To be honest I was suprised you posted this. I thought that I was the only one here that was following it and I was going to post it; but now I don't have to. ;3

By realistic, I was actually going for the melee mechaniscim. Not the game background.

The game may be released but you gotta understand War of the Roses made by experienced developer that made Warband and they have bunch of people inside while Chivalry only have 15 man team who used to make Age of Chivalry for half-life 2 mod. You gotta hand it to them.

And yeah, I was bit sad that I am the only one in my steam friend list that plays this jewel of modern game. :3

WoR may be more polished but I still think Chivalry has a better melee mechanic and modes.
