O_O WUT? whats a Wurm? She is clearly a Dragonized lamia.

You've got that wrong... absolutely wrong...
A wurm is a dragon with an elongated body and no hind legs, in other words a wurm is a serpent like the Quetzalcoatl, the Cuélebre or the Leviathan.
Serpents have nothing in common with nagas but for the long tail and they're closer to dragons (since they're a dragon subspecies) than nagas.

I dunno why KK mispelled that

It's not a mispelling but an alternate spelling, Wurm is as accurate as either Wyrm or Worm are. The fact that people feels more comfortable with the term Wyrm it doesn't mean that it's the only proper term.
However it might be a good idea to change it to "Wyrm" in the final translated version since it will save you quite the controversy and intransigence once it's done.

So it seems Kenkou's gone with the name that lends itself best not to my Worm jokes, but to Mist Valley jokes.

Still the best mamono for 1 Tuner and 2 non-Tuners, of course. Hands-down. Mist Wurm for the win.

And no, until a translation comes I will not ease up on the YGO jokes, opportunities like this don't come too often.

Well, it seems like KK is making dragons for all tastes:

-Ryuu. Kind and gentle type.
-Dragon. Proud and stubborn type.
-Wyvern. Violent Tsundere type.
-Wyrm. Horny deredere type?

Hmm, I wonder what will come next? Maybe an ``Ice Drake´´ of sorts for the Emotionless Kuudere type? That would be great.

I don't consider MGE wyverns to be THAT violent...

Hmm, I wonder what will come next? Maybe an ``Ice Drake´´ of sorts for the Emotionless Kuudere type? That would be great.

Who knows... Maybe he decide to keep the serpent vibe rolling for a while... In that case one of the first choices would probably be the amphiptere (a winged serpent, the most famous example for that serpent subspecies would be Quetzalcoatl), or he finally would decide to give us a water based dragon/serpent (Ryuus don't count, they have control over weather not water)... I would love to see a Leviathan MG...

As for dragons the choices are several and interesting aswell: the already mentioned drake, the dragonet (an incredibly small (for draconic standards) dragon but really fierce, aggressive and hostile to humans), the lindwurm (a wingless and bipedal dragon closely related to the Wyvern) or even the hydra... if Kenkou manages to find a way to solve the multiple head issue...

...However I get the feeling that this will be the last reptilian profile we're gonna see in quite a while.

Don't forget, there's also Tiamat that can be referenced as a dragon -- in fact, quite possibly as the water-based dragon that we are somewhat missing. (No Leviathan, no Sea Serpents, none of that so far.)

Color me impressed... I wasn't expecting someone to mention Tiamat in such a setting (in with such accuracy since Tiamat is both water based AND female).

Unfortunately considering that when Kenkou finds a monster that appear in other media besides mythology/folklore he seems to choose the media based version (as it could be seen for instance the Nure-onna (that despite being the combination of three Japanese youkais (Nure-onna, Ame-onna and Harai-onna) is rather based on a secondary character from an anime which title I can't recall right now, most of the slimes (which seem to be personifcations of different Dragon Quest slimes) or even the Lamia (which design is a blatant ripoff of Final Fantasy 5's lamia on every aspect (skin tone, hair color, tail color and patterns) to the point I still ponder if I can learn 1000 Needles if I happen to stumble upon one of them)...

(A poor man's hydra related to wind instead of water).

.P.S.: It seems that rocknroll has also done his own version of the Wyrm (artists these days sure are fast), its style is nice as always... But it's way too naga-ish for my tastes. It lacks the dignified draconic vibe that Butter T's version had (even if it's horny and aggressive a dragon is still a dragon).
