Yikes.

That's a whole new way to get stoned. I'd hate to be the man caught in the middle of the act of love to be turned into stone until the next day. Bound to put your back out.

I like the art though. She looks great.

Kay, I frickin' love Gargoyles, but the fact that they can share their morning stone form curse with a dude they're joined with is a MAJOR turn-off. I'd definitely think twice about going near one or letting near me in the night.

Why is it a turn off? I would have loved to try it out personally. Especially if she turned us to stone during the climax, then the climax would last the WHOLE DAY... I wonder how that will be like

Anyway, I often forget about her but I actually really like the Gargoyles and her art is very hot

I gotta say, her design is so cool but the original profile didn't leave much variety in your life with her. Even if most still end up leading a fairly repetitive life, at least a life of high adventure is a real option now.

Plus I gotta say it is romantic how you help her gain the freedom to move all the time. One can imagine the joy of spending time with her in the sun active for the first time.

It doesn't change that much actually... Unless now "pedestal" has become a possible class in MMOs that is...

Anyway, artistic revamp (and bigger boobs to boot...huzzah?) so at least that's something nice she got out of this: a nice Rock Polish ^^

Yeah, although now she got her chains degraded in bling; from gold to copper, and she even lost her tail chain.

That's something that tends to happen with Kenkou's revamps/redesigns, the general quality of it increases drastically but at the cost of neglecting details here and there (that helped get a feel of identity and authenticity to the original design).

It happens so often that I learnt to overlook this kind of things and try focusing on the greater scheme of things... It's better this way, believe me.

It also helps to think that all images past and present are still valid forms of the monster girls. They all won't look identical to one another. This will definitely be the case with gargoyles as each statue will have a different story behind it and each soul may have different aesthetics that it likes to decorate itself. That's how I thought of the Lamia, too.

Plus, the new one makes her look more like a stone creature rather than a grey lizard creature and that's cool in my book.

Yea, and you can see the artist got more corrupted as he aged, haha. His girls didn't look as twisted then as they do now. He must have a real frustrating life.

I think that is pretty much the outcome of the setting itself actually.

I mean we're talking about a setting that canonically speaking will lead both mankind and monsterkind to extinction, where "love" is regarded as one sided and forced (be it physically, mentally, chemically,etc...) intercourse and shows of affection are something so shameful, sinful and attrocious...that in the best case scenario must remain hidden from absolutely anyone.

With a setting as deranged as it turned out this one to be, it's more than normal than its girls need to look the part after all.
