Just came across this on a tvtropes binge and I'm glad I did. Project x Zone(Project cross Zone = belligerent pronunciation) is a game for the 3DS that is a direct sequel to another game we never saw in the states; Namco x Capcom.
Anyway, ever wanted to have an SRW styled turn based strategy game without the robots? Instead, opting for a plethora of Capcom, Sega, and Namco heros? With a combat style ripped straight out of SRW's Endless Frontier spin off?!? Then this may be the game for you!
For those of you just watching this video(Like me) the way the combat works is that there are always pairs of heros(Pair units) that act as your typical TBS unit. They can have another character as a backup(Solo units) from the pool of solo units. These three work in tandem to perform combos and essentially eradicate whatever happens to have been the first thing to piss them off in the morning. The video(s) shows every units' full combo attack, their most fitting support's attack, their ultimate attack, and their area of effect MAP attack. In that order.
Personally I don't know ANYTHING else aside from this so if we could get someone to dig a bit deeper that would be awesome!

Men, we led those dumb bugs out to the middle of nowhere to keep 'em from gettin' their filthy claws on Earth. But, we stumbled onto somethin' they're so hot for, that they're scramblin' over each other to get it. Well, I don't care if it's God's own personal anti-son-of-a-bitch machine, or a giant hoola hoop, we're not gonna let 'em have it! What we will let 'em have is a belly full of lead, and a pool of their own blood to drown in! - Sergeant Avery Johnson (Halo)

Re: Project x Zone
I remember geeking about Namco X Capcom back in the day. It had a really good song called "Brave New World". Look it up on youtube.
I recall the reason it couldn't be brought to the US is the same reason we never got Shonen Jump All-Stars for the DS. Licensing and copyright issues. It's the same reason we almost didn't get Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

Re: Project x Zone
Sega is brought into the roster this time and they didn't even add Sonic nor any Sonic franchise character? Odd... Strangely odd...
It makes me think about Capcom's decision about NOT including Megaman on MvC3, but unlike Capcom (who overlooks Classic Megaman as if they were brutally ashamed of) Sega loves Sonic more than any other franchise made by them.
Something smells awfully fishy about this game...

There are those who would scorn good-natured people. Even if God himself will
not show his face, a heartful person will one day take God's place in
visiting Judgement upon them. This is what is known as "Divine Retribution"
