A quick sketch I done in monorail and bus
Edwardo know that he's in for a duel against Sari, he open his cursed right eye and unleash the vision of flow to gain slight advantage as he is unskilled in sword fight.

Re: PAZ's artwork
Dude that looks so bad ass. (I won't ask about the arm lengths because I already now it's a paper size issue.) I'm curious why you sketch with red and not black? Easier to see? Can it erase?
Re: PAZ's artwork
I sketch with red is because it is easier to clean and easier to lineart after I scan it on PC.
Re: PAZ's artwork
The more I using the curve tools the more unnature I feel about the lines, so I decide to do real lineart
Re: PAZ's artwork
Definite using smooth line with pen is better looking than using curve tools

Re: PAZ's artwork
How are you getting smooth lines with just the pen tool? Are you simply just taking broad strokes or is there a "touch up" tool on SAI that doesn't use the eraser? Also, is there a way to draw in vector format?
It looks good so far. My only worry is that how you have the nose drawn makes it seem as if you smushed her face in just so you could get the bridge of her nose in the shot. Looks great otherwise!

Re: PAZ's artwork
Look at the pic and you see that "smoothing: S-3" which most artist use them for lineart.
Ps: I have no idea what smushed mean, is that even English? Anyway, I just draw whatever come to my hand and mind naturely which look great to me

Re: PAZ's artwork
Just two words:
Dat ass!
Looking great as always. I dunno why but her braid draws my attention a lot; I like it's design. I'm sure it will look even better once colored.

Re: PAZ's artwork
Oh... I keep forgetting that not everyone's aware of certain english slang... Basically I was saying that her nose looked like it was drawn flat against her face so you could see the bridge of it. It's just a minor detail, really.PAZ wrote:Look at the pic and you see that "smoothing: S-3" which most artist use them for lineart.

Re: PAZ's artwork
You only see the half of the face that's why you see the nosebridge??
Anyway.

'em cannonballs! And that relaxed face fits her perfectly; it's as if she's saying ``Come with me.´´

The story in this image is a young man, who is drowning and unable to swim. Before the death can claim him, the kraken did and invite him to the sea.Blake81 wrote:'em cannonballs! And that relaxed face fits her perfectly; it's as if she's saying ``Come with me.´´
