I'm working on a dungeon of trials. It will consist of 4 trials that start from a central hub. There's already a lava platforming trial. I'm hoping to have stuff like pressure plates that activate arrow traps and perhaps a labyrinth.

Another concept is to have the materials to make a diamond pickaxe at the ends of each of the trials. The pickaxe will then open the way to the final trial.

Finally got Minecraft to work and well, I'd like to share my first experiences with it.

First attempt at playing had me run around not knowing what the heck I'm doing and so I didn't manage to get a good grasp of the stuff before nightfall...that night I got chased around by a bunch of zombies, got blown up but not killed by a creeper and finally died to a freaking kid zombie. (Oh, and I've been lagging a lot during some parts of that.) After that I decided to go check a tutorial for beginners and then went and created another world (Hated the place I spawned at, nothing but snow. >_>)And so my second attempt dropped me off in a jungle, chopped up a bunch of trees and wandered about for a while and ended up in a desert by that time it was night so I hid in a hole and came back out when it was day, later while digging randomly I found a cave and then built a shelter nearby, hopefully I put enough torches around it for monsters not to spawn too close to it.

All in all, the game is pretty fun but honestly it feels a bit empty, that's probably because I'm playing single player mode, and sadly I don't think I could play very well in multiplayer, especially if monsters come after me, in single player mode lagging freezes the mobs too so its just a matter of reacting quickly when it unfreezes, while in multi I'm just going to die since I'll be the only one to freeze.

for those with troubles with lag and such, get either multi MC or magic launcher(although one is no longer updated) and download Optifine, this mod smooths out FPS, allows for HD texture pack, and adds more options involving things like chunk updates and texture quality.

Sounds good, i'd love to see that movie, though im not too exited about the chances of it being a live-action film, just doesn't seem right to me.

This also reminds me of a story i heard a while ago, where a few youtubers started a fundraiser to make a minecraft movie for youtube. But since they were asking for 600000 dollars, mojang had to pull the plug on them, due to intellectual property rights and all that.

No it died a long time ago. I will play with anyone who hosts a server though. I could use the stress relief to just build/survive the creepers. I plan to get Starbound eventually too.

i really want to make a FTB unstable server or modern yogcraft server.dont think my comp could handle it though.
