Yugioh 1000 years of Darkness 2/8

Alex held his arm in front of his face to protect his eyes from the raging inferno that burned at him for 800 lifepoints.
LP: 7200
"I am not so easily humbled." He briefly scanned his hand before making his move.
"First I'll set one card face down and then set one monster on the field. That's all for now."

[Oersted]

At Alastair's question my eyes widen a bit in surprise "Oh, that. Well, after Conner collapsed we brought him to the red-eyes dorm so he could rest then Nathan showed up, made a scene and well..." I sighed before continuing "Long story short a lot of stuff happened so we couldn't get to math."

(Well, I hope what I just wrote makes sense, my memory's kinda foggy right now and my computer is feeling laggy...)

[Nexous]

"How about we discuss my Insect Deck, and ways to improve it. I've lost enough to see room for improvement."

[Heero]

@Nathan:
"Yeah lets discuss ways to improve our deck...and your skills...by dueling me with that lame ass xyz deck TRAITOR!"


@Alex:
(at lib. so i cant really do much.)
"Harpy's brother attack his facedown!"

@Kiel:
Alastair looks at Kiel closely, "Hmmm alright..because i like you i'll believe it. night then."

[Oersted]

After Alastair wishes me good night I nod "Good night to you too." after that I go back to working on my design but can't think of anything more so I go to sleep instead. (And so my char's gone until morning, well, unless you decide to have something go crashing through his door or whatever. XD)

A small smirk grew on Alex's face
"Thank you.... You just attacked my Pyramid Turtle."

"When he's destroyed in battle, I can special summon any zombie from my deck as long as it has 2000 defense or less. I think I'll use it to summon my Vampire Lord."

"Anything else you want to help me out with, my dear?" an almost arrogant smile grew across his face.

[Heero]

@Alex:
"Hmmm good move i'll set another card down and set a monster then end."

[Taintedone]

Alex eased in to a calm stare as he drew his next card.
"Hmm... I'll set one card face down and summon Spirit Reaper in attack mode."

"Now, I'll have my Vampire Lord Attack your Harpy's Brother!"
The vampire disappears into mist and reappears behind the male avian and sinks his fangs into his neck.

[Heero]

"I activate my trap Astral Barrier this lets me take a direct attack to protect my harpy." The vampire sinks his teeth into Christy draining her of LPs.
"Uuuuunnnn....is that all you got?"

LP: 6000

[Taintedone]

Alex smirked,
"Not quite. Thanks to that, you just activated my Vampire's special ability. If he ever deals lifepoint damage to my opponent, the they have to discard one card of my choosing from their deck to the graveyard. Now, it's time to say goodbye to one of your trap cards."

[Heero]

"fine then i'll send regulation of tribe to the grave. do you end?"

[Taintedone]

After giving a satisfied nod he replied,
"Yes, I end."

[Heero]

"Alright, my move, and i'll flip summon man-eater bug in attack and use his effect to destroy your vampire lord. next i'll have my harpy attack your reaper."

[Taintedone]

Alex seemed un-phased by this turn of events and watched his vampire get devoured and the harpy lunged for his reaper.
"Trap card.... Sakuretsu Armor."

[Heero]

"Hmmmm good move. ill end my turn."

[Taintedone]

Alex drew his next card.
"Very well.. I think it's time I say hello to an old friend, thanks to his effect, I'll special summon my Vampire Lord!"
A large coffin springs up from the ground and opens to reveal the same vampire that was destroyed a turn ago.
"Didn't you know it's not so easy to kill a vampire? Now i'll play the spell card Zombie World!"

"Ahhh.... Much better. Now, I'll have my Vampire lord attack your Man Eater Bug!"
The vampire lashes one of its claws at the insect.

[Heero]

"Aaaaahhhh!"
LP: 4350

[Taintedone]

"And let's not forget Vampire Lord's other special ability. This time you'll destroy one of your spell cards."

[Heero]

"Fine i'll send ritual weapon to the grave."

Just then Christy's PDA beeps. she opens it to see Damien on the other end. "Hello Christy. i'm sure your having fun but whatever your doing stop it immeditly i have need of you urgently come to my office right now."
"Ok sir i'll be there in a flash."
She closes it, "Sorry hun but we'll pick this up later, i got to run. You can show yourself out can't you?" and with that she deactivates her disk and walks out leaving Alex alone.

Alex was about to continue his move before Christy suddenly called off the duel and left him standing there still injured and left sorely disappointed.
"............ What the hell!? ...... Did she just..... Ditch me?"
Alex began to seethe with rage and he stormed out of the red dorm and began to trudge his way back to the blue eyes house, still covered in burns but his rage almost made the pain unnoticeable.
