Kalen jumped at the last second on it's head, catching it of guard, he stabbed it in the head. The black flames started to flow out of the blade, then the flow of the fire increased greatly as it completely consumed the dragon, Kalen dismounted the dragon.
"Good job Keith..." he said. "Now...let..." but before he could finish, the dragon roared loudly as suddenly, horns grew out of it's head, it seemed angry as the same breath attack it used to extinguish the flames were now flowing out of the dragon's body, letting it out as all over it's body, the flames quickly died out.
"Well...that didn't work..." Kalen pointed out the obvious.

"I say we do it again." Keith suggested to Kalen. "Except this time put a little more spice in your flames."
Keith then looks at the dragon in all its magnificence. "Now that I think about it, why don't we just jet outta here?"

(If Kalen decides to do it again, assume Keith is going to move and shout insults at the dragon)

Kai smiles and nods, in response to Aliphese's question. "Why yes, I am feeling much better. Thank you, lord Aliphese." He then looks at Lisa. "And thank you both, for helping my mother's kingdom. I greatly appreciate it." He says with a smile. "Something seemed a little strange, though. While the harpies, nor any other human or monster girl can't touch them, some of the angels dodged every physical attack aimed towards them. The rest acted like it was nothing, but the ones that dodged acted like they tried their best not to get hit." Kai looks at Aliphese. "You wouldn't think that they would have to worry about being hit, right?"

meanwhile... (finally, I get the chance to play as my main character. )

On a usual day, I'm out to hunt for my meal, as always. My bow is in hand, and my sheath of arrows are on my back. I wake up in the morning, and go out to hunt for my food. I'll visit my favorite lake, then do a little more hunting, then go home and cook. After that, I do whatever I feel, then go to bed. Nothing exciting, of course. What would you expect, if you're the only one living in this forest? Only one you know of, that is. I've not once met anyone else, in here. The only other living thing I see out here are the plants and animals.

My ears are up and alert, as usual, listening for anything to shoot, or possibly another person. It could be a human, it could be a monster girl. Heck, it could be my dad, who left me alone, nine years ago. I didn't really care who it was. Just someone to prove to me that I'm not alone.

I heard the call of a bird, and looked above me to see... Not a surprise there. It's a bird. I got out an arrow and aimed towards the head. I'll get this in one shot, if I'm lucky. I thought to myself.

He's fast. I'm gonna have to be careful... Commander Lux thinks to herself, as she quickly gets up. "It's a natural ability. Trust me, if I could somehow turn the 'divine grace' off, I would, just to give myself a little more of a challenge." She runs towards them once more, but once she got close enough for her to hit them and vice versa, she quickly jumps over the two. Once their backs are facing towards each other, she swings her sword at the both of them.

"That's quite the blade you have there, Granberia. Let's see how your strength with it compares to mine." An angel says as she uses her similarly sized sword to block Granberia's attack.

When Hailey knocked the lance out of one of the angel's hands, she held the hand she carries her weapon in for a few seconds, then uses earth magic to make the ground around Hailey's feet form around her ankles to keep her feet in place. "Let's see how well you fight, standing still." She picks up her lance and jabs it towards Hailey.

the two of them both duck as Tyson blocks the blade with his sword,Scott then follows up by striking the blade with his sword encased in fire, knocking her back a bit "heh, if that's the case, then we only need to drag this fight off a little longer.." he said as the two lept back to regroup

Dianca: "Well honestly I was just roaming around Zipangu for a drink...I was looking for specific rice grain's that would make the best sake...meeting you was by pure chance alone, it was never intentional that I met you. But now that I have, it's a good thing. Anyways there's a whole Alliance that formed to try and stop the 1st generation monster's revival...to be more specific their king Formotosis..." Dianca said

Mizune: "Never heard of him...but he sounds scary..." She said, but then the boar looked ready t eat, Dianca's eyes flashed with anticipation as she pulled the boar's our, ripping a part of it off with her bare hands, she really had no sense of manner's it seems

Dianca: "Mhh delicious!" Dianca said as she smiled "Anyways...you have the potential to wield Armads...once we get it...we can join the group to help end this war once and for all..."

Aliphese: "I can't really risk doing anything at the moment...my troops are spread along with Lisa's...I can't just let them run off to find more about Gaora Madara...but at least knowing he's alive will give us an edge...and as usual...the only thing that can really kill those damn bastards is either a dark user...such as yourself shadow...or someone who uses light will have a much easier time dealing with them."

Kalen said as he prepared himself, taking a stance, he holds his black katana forward, he was in a position were it looked like he could thrust the sword's tip forward at the dragon "Let's see you stop this..." The katana's black flames grew immensely, the heat it generated tripled the heat that blue flames could produce, easily boiling and even evaporating the water withing 20 inches around him "Black Thrust..." He thrust his arm forward, releasing a straight, precise line of black flames right at the dark dragon. The dark dragon didn't have time to draw breath due to the incredible speed, quickly incinerating the dragon in moments. When the attack finished, there was nothing but a straight like of black flames at went all across the river, creating a flame dam, and the center of the river was but a pile of ashes

Aliphese: "Hmm...well perhaps some of them are adolescent angels...one's that haven't grasped their ability to phase through physical touch...but there is one thing for certain...is that unless they are high rank...an angel's weapon is still physical and therefore can be knocked off..." She said

Lisa: "Kai dear...since your in the state you are now...please stay for now and relax..." Lisa suggested to him

Granberia grunted a little, but smiled as their blades clashed "Not bad at all...you certainly hold immense strength, but you are fighting a dragon kin, don't think your victory will be swift if you fighting me!" She stomped her right foot down, creating a leverage to push the angels off with amazing strength, pushing her to the point of hitting a tree behind her

Hailey: "Hmpf..." Hailey couldn't move, but the moment the lance was about to jab her, she grabbed it at it's skinny tip "Haha...thanks..." She said before pulling the lance off her hands and throwing it to the sky

Keith did as he is told and backed up by a few steps.

Keith was in awe and it took a few seconds for him to snap out of it.
"Dude, that was totally WICKED!" The mercenary praised Kalen. "Seriously, where can I get such a weapon?" Keith asked as he thought about the things he could do with that kind of power. There wasn't much really.

"Well, would you like to immerse yourself in your victory or shall we get going?" But suddenly, a thought struck Keith. "Wait a minute, that was a Dragon right? Why'd it try to kill us and why did it look so butt ugly?" As far as the mercenary knows, Dragons are scaly, winged women who guards treasures and not going out and destroying stuff.

"nnn..." Nemo eventually became hard as Purmia rubbed her nude body on his. Hisui smiles as she looks at the Inari "mind if I have some Jasmine tea?" she asked

Alvan nodded when Dianca told him that some people had formed an alliance to fight against the first generation monsters "That's good to hear." after that he couldn't help but chuckle when he saw Dianca literally rip off a piece of the boar with her bare hands. When Diance mentions that after getting Armads they could join the alliance and help end the war "I agree and I'm pretty sure they'd be happy to have more people to help them as well."

The first generation Monsters are monsters that are like the ones we encounter and know on planet earth...from ugly orcs to giant cyclops's." He said, "Anyways..." the flames died out as the water continued to flow, washing away the ashes "Let's get going..." Kalen said as he moved on ahead to the other side

Purima: "Hmm?" Purima didn't know what was poking her, so she mounted on top of Nemo, the back of her leg's resting on his, she was laying her chest against his, she then heard the Inari "Tea?" She asked

Inari: "Why yes little one...tea is good for the heart...and seeing you, I think you'll like rosemary tea..." She then smiled "I got your orders...I'll be back with them shortly..." She said as she left

Purima: "Hey uh Nemo...what's that thing poking at my butt?" She asked him

Lisa: "Yea...for now I guess we can relax...the enemy hasn't really done any big moves recently so we should be fine..."

Dianca: "Haha, that's the spirit kid...but I think you should let Alvan take care of it okay? Don't wantcha gettin hurt." Dianca ripped another piece and stuck it to a stick "Here yah go...saved the tenderest part for yah." Dianca said as she gave the tender meat to her

Mizune: "Thank you." She said as she smiled

"Right behind ya." Keith followed Kalen. "Man D.L. really let herself go huh? With the monsters turning into their original selves. Did her husband die or something?"

A rumbling was then heard. "Sorry. I blew up my breakfast remember?"

Kalen: "No...this isn't her doing...the former demon king Formotosis is the cause of this...he is the one reviving the old monsters...the demon lord cannot convert them since well...at her state, she isn't strong enough to do so...she's been severely crippled due to always using her demonic energy to keep the demon realm the way it is..." When Kalen heard the rumbling, he simply sighed. Soon he finds what looked like one of the Demon realm settlements, it seemed to be holding strong "We can rest here for now..." Kalen said

Alvan smiled at Mizune's comment, she made it sound like beating the old demon king was going to be a piece of cake, it was silly but he had to admit that kind of childish enthusiasm was certainly better than having an heavy atmosphere. "I agree with Dianca, its good that you're motivated but let's not get too ahead of ourselves here."

"No...this isn't her doing...the former demon king Formotosis is the cause of this...he is the one reviving the old monsters...the demon lord cannot convert them since well...at her state, she isn't strong enough to do so...she's been severely crippled due to always using her demonic energy to keep the demon realm the way it is..." Kalen explained the situation.
"Former demon king? But D.L. is the one sitting at the throne right now, shouldn't he be... six feet under?" Keith was rather confused. The pieces weren't connecting because Keith believes in order for the Succubus to ascend the throne, she needed to kick this Formotosis' ass. If she did, why's he alive? And why is Keith thinking about this stuff? This was none of his business.

When Kalen heard the rumbling, he simply sighed. Soon he finds what looked like one of the Demon realm settlements, it seemed to be holding strong "We can rest here for now..." Kalen said.
"Oh thank the Lord. My feet are getting sore." Keith said as he stretched his legs. "You think we can get a hero discount?"

Succubus: "Kalen...sir what brings you here?" She asked

Kalen: "I'm on a journey with this young man named Keith...were going to spend the night here...is that okay?" He asked

Succubus: "Of course. We have plenty of rooms available." She smiled

???: "..." Unknown to Kalen or Keith, there was a Nightmare who was following them, she was the same nightmare they met before

Dianca: "Hey Alvan, you might want to eat yerself, so here." Dianca handed a piece of the roasted boar to him on a stick. Mizune started eating her's once it cooled enough, she smiled at the taste

Mizune: "It's good...boar meat alone doesn't taste like this..." She said

Dianca: "That's because this isn't regular boar meat, I seasoned it lightly with herbs I found to really pull the flavor out." She said

Inari: "Here you are..." The Inari said as she placed a plater with all the tea everyone had ordered

Purima: "Pe...nis...what's what?" Purima tilted her head sideways, confused as to what it was, the Inari overheard and giggled

After he was handed the piece of boar Alvan thanked Dianca and let it cool down a bit before taking a bite of it, and like Mizune his reaction was a positive one "I agree with Mizune, its real good! Funny how a few herbs can make a difference, haha." that said he continued to eat without talking much.

"No...we'll it's all hard to explain...I'll tell more later but for now..." Kalen said as the two approached the village.
Upon arrival, a Succubus recognizes one of the two. "Kalen...sir what brings you here?" she asked.
"I'm on a journey with this young man named Keith...were going to spend the night here...is that okay?"
"Of course. We have plenty of rooms available." the Succubus answered with a smile.

"Wait..." Keith's senses perked up. "My spider-senses are tingling." Keith then turns around and claps his hands very fast. "A-HA! You thought I didn't notice you didn't ya!" Keith yelled.
He was actually yelling at the dead mosquito in his hands. "Okay then. Hey cranks, do we like share rooms or something?" He asked as he moved behind the Succubus and put the dead insect on her head unnoticed. At least he thinks it was unnoticed.

Mizune: "He sure can, he makes the bad people go away with just his glare!" Mizune said

Dianca: "Oh really, why isn't he nice then." Dianca said as she blushed and smiled at Alvan

???: "?!": She panicked as she ducked, but then when she realized it was just a bug, she let out a sigh of relief and smiled, she noticed Keith put the dead bug on her head "Gross..." She whispered

Succubus: "Sure...mr. Kalen...you and your friend will be given the two premium rooms for tonight, and please order any food you like." The succubus smiled before she went on her way, showing them to their perspective rooms

Kalen: "Also, the Demon King's revival is due to a faithful of his who is now dead...but now that Formotosis is well and alive...there is still much to do..."
