Well the only things that Faction really affects is whos side your on for PvP, what Cabals(Guilds) you can join, and i assume different dialogs for the faction missions or totally different faction missions altogether.

I'm Dragon btw, name is Valentia, Cerberus server, though with how the game works server doesn't really matter since we can server hop if we party up.

It means I've beaten one of the first story missions in the game. Beaumont is one of the Big Bads in the story, who's really hard to beat during his boss battle.
Spoiler: show
He's also the Norse god Loki

Ah I see, I never got that far. I think I just started the siren's call quest before I quit. I was upset though since they made them all bad. :(

I'm currently grinding while gathering materials for crafting. I'm going to attempt to build all the QL10 weapons, talismans and glyphs. My only problem is that I won't be able to get toolkits for those materials until later levels, so I' at a lost about what to do about that...

Feathers suggested I put a screenshot of my character, so here's one

I'm currently using the pandemonist deck, though I'm wearing a couple talismans to provide health, so I'm aiming to complete the martial artist deck, so I can be a tank.

Funcom nuked my account for some reason a couple months ago. I still wanted to look into the world more. :( The game seemed like mostly a solo experience sadly though (bef0re).

The solo experience is the only part of the game I'm not all that fond off, since I've tried to get my real life friends to play (Which has yet to work) and I don't have many internet friends to ask 8I

Otherwise, I love the game, it does tremendous work for my nerves.

Good news, I got my account back. So, would you mind making a new character to teach me the ropes with? :) I'm guessing you would never make a Templar so I'll have to make a Dragon to join ya.

Actually... I'm using a new character who's a Templar...

I'm on the Daemon server. I can meet up with you in London, if you make a Templar, in about an hour and a half (I have an appointment). My nickname is my username, without the dashes.

Oh, my bad bro. That works good. Well the game is 16 GB and I'm at about 2 GB, so we probably won't be playing till tomorrow anyway.

That's good, I'm completely free tomorrow, so there won't be any obstacles :)

Awesome, I may finally get to enjoy the game. I'm sure there's lots of interesting things to see. Solo made me fall asleep.

Solo gets lonely pretty quickly. Lucky to be playing with another person :)

I have played this game for so long, that I've lost my sense of time. I'm really not sure how long I've been playing, all I know that it wasn't Sunday when I started.
