Oh no it's not boring, it provides an interesting challenge to help a friend :) .

Equal grounds? May take a while, but we'll see.

That could be a problem then, I was hoping we could enjoy the game on the same level. Otherwise I'm just baggage. :(

Oh come on, you're not baggage. You just need Rock Balboa style training! :hero:

I'm going to be logging on in like ten minutes or less, so we can continue :daboss:

Haven't played in a few days I keep forgetting to log on since I'm on TMM most of my free time. I did jump on about a day ago but for some reason I was teleported all the way back to London. The game feels so lonely solo and I keep falling asleep because there is nothing to fight but zombies zombies zombies and the occasional sea monster. >_<

It's a good game but it suffers from the same problems as all MMORPGs- if your friend is higher level or has more exp, it's boring because you can't contribute to the team. :( This is what makes FPS/MOBA superior for online players..

Okay, so if anyone has been playing TSW longer than I have (kinda doubt it by this point), what's the fastest way to get purple gear? It's a noob question, I know, but I can't be wandering around in QL10 Green gear all the time :|

Has anyone but me been playing TSW recently or at all?

I guess I'll find out eventually.

Either way, I've recently been focusing on trying to make my dream build. Trying to pick the right abilities, talismans and weapons to be a self-healing DPS/tank. It may take a while to sort it all out, but I'm guessing that I'll get there at some point.

Criticism on the game:
Spoiler: show
Respawn rates are too high.

The game puts me to sleep because I have little real impact on the world.

No one groups, they only ask help for their quests.

The community is divided between "elitist" beta users and "newbies".

The character customization and race options make everyone look the same, I can barely tell a zombie from a player.

Killing zombies for 10 hours straight became boring.

Choosing a faction has 0 impact on the story (from what I saw), I was expecting an epic intertwined tale about my faction, but later I find out I have the same boring quests as the other 2 factions.

The intro to the game was amazing- immersive, unique, and inspiring. After being dumped and Left for Dead on Zombie Island, the experience dwindled- quests were bugged, players were on solo missions only, people bickered in the chat ALL day (newbies vs beta veterans).

The skill and ability system looked nice on paper, but in truth all of my skills look and feel the same.

The item management is very cumbersome and time consuming.
I uninstalled it last month. I tend to get bored with MMOs quickly, but this one honestly bored more a lot faster than the others (Flyff is still the #1 worst MMO I have played though). It's a well made game, but isn't for me. I could just enjoy the story cutscenes (which are actually really good) on youtube though, it would save me some time. I'd like more fantasy inspired races myself, because playing as a human just isn't any fun for me. No offense to people that love the game, I'm just a very hard person to please when it comes to MMORPGs because I've played A LOT of them over the course of 13 years (and wasted a load of cash on them in the process because of monthly fees).
